We interviewed a number of contractors and settled on this company. We had custom kitchen cabinets made, new quartz countertops, and new wood flooring installed. We dealt directly with Mr. Bader who was extremely helpful and addressed all of our concerns. Anytime one hires a company for this size of an improvement, it is usually a bit stressful. However, Bader supervised the project from beginning to end and the stress level was minor. We had a few delays, but nothing really to complain about. All in all we are very happy with the results and have had many compliments on the kitchen and floors. We would hire this company again!

Job delayed 1 day due to finishing another job. Kept us informed of schedule and showed up on time. They did a good job of preparing the house with plastic to limit dust. Removed existing tile, prepped floor leveling a few spots. Installed tile without removing baseboards, did a great job removing existing ceramic tile without damaging baseboard trim. Total job took about 10 days including removing 650 sf of tile and 1850 of carpet, installing the tile, grouting and cleaning up. Badger the Manager for CMA that sold the job checked on the progress from start to finish. We were very pleased with the tile quality and the price, the service and in the installation crew.
Description of Work: Remove 650 sf existing tile + 1850 sf carpet and installed 6”x 36” porcelain tile. Mazari wood looking tile.

The worst floor company (at Carrollton) I have worked with. They never updated me what's going on - even when manufacture was no longer to produce the carpet I ordered. When asked order status, the only answer they gave was "I will update you soon." The only thing they did fast was to charge my credit card, and never refunded money back even when order was cancelled. I had to call my credit card company to credit me back. Stay away from this store and find another one which can be trusted.

Great! We are repeat customers at Carpet Mills of America for good reason. Bader took a genuine interest in finding exactly the right product to fit our home and budget. He was very patient with all of my concerns and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure that he was meeting our flooring needs. He made himself available to us for questions but never pressured us for a decision. We are thrilled with our new luxury vinyl flooring and are already planning to come back to CMA to do the bedrooms and master bath. The installers did an outstanding job - they were very professional and courteous, and did beautiful work. We absolutely recommend Carpet Mills of America with Bader at the helm to meet your flooring needs.
Description of Work: Purchased luxury vinyl plank for living room, kitchen, hallway and front bathroom. Old flooring and molding was removed and new flooring and new molding installed.

Had a GREAT experience with Carpet Mills!! Bader was our coordinator the while time and he was VERY good! The wood floors, quartz countertops, and glad shower doors are all fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the final results!! All of the installers were on time and cleaned up behind themselves! I kept Bader in the loop on the timeline as we had quite a few other contractors working on the house. He was always very easy to work with on the schedule! I would make sure to give him plenty of notice and he made sure everyone was there when they were supposed to be there!! All in all I had a FANTASTIC experience with Bader at Carpet Mills!!

I had been to several places including big box stores looking for new carpet for 4 bedrooms, game room and stairs. Frustrated and confused with too many choices and then all the "add ons" @ extra cost for moving furniture, stairs, extra cost for haul away, and sales reps that steer you to higher cost carpets with no consideration for where and how the carpet is to be used. About to give up, I happened to pass by Carpet Mills of America on Belt Line Road in Carrollton and stopped in just to check one more source before making a final decision. Greeted promptly by Ali, their flooring specialist first asked me a series of questions about pets, lifestyle of the home, etc. Then he steered me to a more lifestyle specific collection with a long wear and stain resistant warranty, also suggesting, because of my pets, an "accident proof" pad made of spill proof memory foam to prevent any spills or pet stains from penetrating to the sub floor. Ok so far so good! Next, I found two samples I really liked, the cost per sq ft. sounded ok, then I asked about furniture move and replace, labor for stairs, removal methods of old carpet and pad etc...Guess what?. all included! Turn key! The only up charge was a slight difference for the upgraded pad, but with the lack of all the "extra charges" in CMA's pricing allowed me to go with a slightly higher grade of carpet. OK so then I set up an appointment for measuring. This is another area where I have heard awful stories about wrong measurements, hidden "extras" and lots of left over carpet. Ali arrived on time for our appointment and quickly had a professional sketch of my home with all areas of carpet measured and even showed me where the cut outs from one room would fit perfectly in the closet of another room! I was very impressed and set up the installation for July 16. The installation crew arrived promptly at 9 AM, and finished in one day. Periodically during the day, Bader Obeid, their Managing Director contacted me to see how I everything was going and I was thrilled. The installers did a beautiful job, quickly and neatly folding the old carpet and pad moving it out of the house in small sections to minimize any possible dust... I have bad allergies, but they were so careful even vacuuming as they went. No sneezes at all! The results are awesome. The crew moved furniture back into place and hauled away all the old stuff. Leaving me with a feeling of relief and a home that looks like new! Alot of folks write reviews when service is less than satisfactory so I am always careful to make sure that the vendors I use know in advance if I am completely satisfied they will get an honest review and if I am not satisfied I always give them a chance to learn from mistakes and make it right. That said, these guys are so close to perfect, I will definitely use them again.

Fraud Alert! Carpet Mills promised us a stain-resistance warranty on the very high-end carpet we purchased for $8000. We never received the paperwork necessary for that warranty to take effect (for the warranty to be valid they need to provide an itemized invoice, a certification that the proper pad was used, certification for the installer, etc.) -- we never received any of these items. When the Better Business Bureau and the credit card company intervened on our behalf, they couldn't get Carpet Mills to respond either. Aside from that, the installation kept getting delayed because they forgot to order the floor tiles, then they didn't order enough tiles and we had to wait again. Same with the carpet -- they promised delivery on a certain day but never ordered the carpet from the manufacturer! The salesperson and owner kept referring me to their scheduling person, but the scheduling person never answered the phone. This is a very shady business.

This was a nightmare. The carpet took three weeks longer than expected to get to Dallas. I am not sure who to blame. Three install dates were scheduled and missed. Carpet was finally installed, then we noticed a loose string on a seam. After several calls we were promised that an installed would call and make an appointment to fix. No one ever called or came by. These guys sell good carpet but do not know how to run a company.

Not a good experience. While Bader was a nice man, he was more than 2 hours late to our consultation. The wide plank engineered ?hand-scraped? hardwoods we chose for the house we just bought, and their price, were very nice. Bader let us know that baseboards would not be removed and that quarter-round would be added to hide inconsistencies. He told us installation would happen in one day, with the potential for quick touch-ups the following morning. We explained that one-day installation was very important to us and he assured us it wouldn?t be an issue. Great! We called after the weekend to schedule installation for the following Tuesday. We spoke with Bader?s brother this time ? another nice man ? who assured us installation would happen in one day, with the potential for very quick touch ups the next morning. Again, I explained it was very important that the one-day installation happens as we can?t miss any more work than we?ve already missed buying this house. The evening before our installation, I called to confirm installation. Was told it was still on and that the installers would arrive between 8:30a ? 11a. I reiterated ? again ? that I was told it would happen in a day and he agreed. 11a came and went on the day of installation ? and no installers. I called Carpet Mills and was told the installer was picking up the product. A second later, the installer called to say he was 30 ? 45 minutes away. When he and his companion arrived, he informed me that today would be a prep day and tomorrow they?d install. Record scratch. I told him that I was assured that installation would happen in one day ? today - and if he couldn?t guarantee it they could leave and I?d cancel my order. He changed his tune and said he?d get it done. While he left for over an hour to ?go get the glue,? his companion began prepping the three rooms that were to get hardwoods. Thought he was just ripping out the old carpet and didn?t realize until that evening that he was removing all the baseboards (Just had the entire house, including trim, painted by professionals the previous week). When the main installer arrived with the glue, he asked me which way I wanted the boards to run in the room. I told him parallel with each doorway. An hour later, he asked me to confirm that I said I wanted the boards to run parallel with the doorways. My husband came home from work to relieve me so I could go to work. A couple hours later my husband calls to tell me one of the room?s boards are not running parallel with the doorway. Not the end of the world, but doggonit, why ask me TWICE how I want the boards if you?re not going to listen. Finally, around 7p, the main installer tells us he needs money to buy new baseboards at Home Depot. We were like, what? You weren?t supposed to remove the baseboards. That we just had painted. That Bader said wouldn't be removed in the first place. He said, too late, many have been destroyed from removal, and what wasn?t destroyed looked "bad." Our point was ? who cares, you weren?t supposed to remove them in the first place. My husband called Bader (or his brother ? not sure) and explained that the baseboards were removed and the installer was asking for $100 upfront to pay for them since he didn?t have any money. Bader/brother said they Carpet Mills "doesn?t do baseboards." And that was it. No help from them. So we sent the installers (now we realize they're just day laborers) on their way without any money for baseboards, and with a DIY baseboard project to tackle over the weekend. On top of all this, 2 of 3 thresholds have popped up. We called Bader two days later and he said his guys would be out in the morning to glue them down. We requested another crew and he said he couldn't do that. And guess what? They never showed. It?s been 7 days. Not a word back from anyone. Including Bader. From beginning to end, this was a bad experience. I don't trust these people and neither should you. They'll romance you during the sale, but afterwards - you're on your own with the most unprofessional installers you'll ever work with. Spend your money elsewhere.
Description of Work: Overall, having flooring installed via Carpet Mills of America/Beltline was a craptastic experience. The hardwood floors are pretty, but my gut tells me we’ll run into problems fairly soon – and I’m dreading the call to Bader because I know in my heart we won’t be taken care of.

The selection process was easy with a good selection and pricing. Installation was not so easy. They scheduled installation FOUR times before they showed up to do the work. The contact woman was nice, but how irritating to be home waiting all day for them to do an install and not to show up. She said workers didn't show up to do the work with each delay day. I think they use sub-contractors that just happen to show up at their doorstep that day. I was unable to communicate with the installers on the day of installation. I asked them to start in one room so I could kennel a cat that was in the other one. Well, they started on the wrong one first and the cat was terrified with all the pounding on the floor. The molding that I understood to be included in the price and installation was not. I had to go to the store to get it myself for them to install. They didn't caulk or paint it. When purchasing flooring previously, all was included and I wasn't nickeled and dimed in a way this company did. I was wanting someone to do the complete installation. That is why I hired someone to do it instead of doing it myself.
Description of Work: Installed three different types of flooring: wood laminate, carpet and vinyl.
