It turned out just fine. We had a very small shower that needed doing. I think he did an excellent job. It took a while. We did pay more. There were two additional costs. We ran into a problem, we had to replace the shower pan and then there was some wood rot that had to be taken care of on one of the sides. He was very conscientious. It took a while because he had to do one part and let it set for a couple of days and then a different part after he had to put flooring in first. So, it took a while to get it done, but it wasn't his fault. It was over a period of couple of weeks, it was the nature of the work. He met all our expectations. He always showed up when he said he was going to be here, to complete a certain portion of the project. It was a very small shower. It was a hard space to work in, but he did a very good job. The extra that we paid was justified and reasonable. He did it mostly himself, Mr Calahan that is. There was another worker that came with him on a couple of occasions.

Bath remodel services are currently not available from this company.

Got an appointment quick and the guy arrived on time and was very polite.

Excellent. Very little additional costs, asked before replacing some old subpar ducts and gave reasonable price for new including pics of old nasty one.

Stacy Callahan (Owner) was wonderful in the prep process. Mr. Callahan walked through the areas I was looking to remodel, asked questions and made helpful recommendation. The price quoted for tiling floors in one full bath, one half bath and a laundry room was excellent and the quality of the work outstanding. The owner was very helpful as well in giving input on flooring options and other local businesses that I could visit for making my selections. My family and I were very pleased. The team arrived punctually each morning ad worked consistently throughout the day. The window was during the holidays and the Callahan Construction team was excellent about avoiding (to the degree possible ) other activities in progress. The whole process was fast, easy and priced perfectly. My family and I were very pleased and I'm already anxious to get a quote on a master bathroom remodeling job. Can't wait ! The house needed a lot of work. Walls had holes in it and there was also a lot of mold in the walls. Flooring (tile and carpet) needed to be replaced. Kitchen and bathroom required a major overhaul. Electrical and plumbing needed a ton of attention. With all that was needed within a tight timeline, the provider completed the project early and came in under budget. The Calahan Construction Team worked late hours and weekends. The team was punctual and professional. I appreciate the frequent updates on what was done and what was scheduled (next). Communication was on point. Most importantly, the follow-up was thorough and detailed. I highly recommend the Calahan Construction Team and plan to use them again on my next project.

Encountered problems from the construction of the house with the plumber the builder used. Calahan had to reconstruct the shower floor to be able to do what I wanted. It looks great now also found a leak at bath sink that builder had also done. Loved the looks of the tile on floor and shower. They also did granite counters in all the areas 0f house. Painted bath and installed new toilet. Great job

Measurements of my kitchen were taken on May 25, 2016. I started writing and calling Calahan requesting the rendering, in mid June. As of July 29, 2016, I have received neither the rendering nor a response. I would like my $99.00 returned. This was my first interaction with Calahan, and obviously will have to be my last.

It was okay. It was a small job so it wasn't a big deal. They found a problem, it was quick and cheap. The service man was excellent but it took them forever to get here, probably a week or two. There was an additional cost for the repair work.

I contacted this company a few weeks ago to setup an appointment for HVAC tuneup and some minor repairs. On the day of the appointment, they called me an hour before the appointment time and said they had to cancel because it was raining and they don't do tuneups when it rains. They rescheduled me for 4 days later at 3pm. On the morning of the new appointment, I called to confirm they would be there. The person who answered said they might not make it out because they've been busy with all the tuneups that were rescheduled due to the rain. I pointed out that my tuneup was one of the ones rescheduled due to rain and I expected them to be there. He said he'd call me later. I was called back a few hours later and he said he'd be there at the appointment time of 3pm. At 4pm nobody showed up and I called to ask where they are. The person who answered said his technician is on the way and will be there shortly. I asked when exactly he would be there and he said he didn't know. At 5pm I called again and nobody answered the phone. Finally, shortly after 5pm, he arrived, with no acknowledgement that he was 2 hours late. I told him that I need the HVAC tuneup and need a few leaks fixed and needed some improperly operating vents looked at. He fixed the leaks in the system and said he can't do anything about my vents. Did not even look at the vents, just said he can't fix it. I asked if he can check the drain pipes to make sure they're not clogged. He poured some water down them and said the water went down so it's not clogged. I asked if he can check the freon levels and he said he can't because he doesn't have the key to open my air conditioner and would need to order one from the manufacturer. He then ran the air conditioner for a few minutes and checked the temperatures at the vents. That's all he did. I asked if there's anything else that's done for A/C tuneup and he said no that's all. So either the A/C tuneup only required exactly what I told him to do and nothing else, or there was a lot that he just didn't do for whatever reason. I found some A/C maintenance checklists on the internet and some of them are 20-40 steps long. I really don't know what happened here.

I would use them again in future. He's coming back out on Tuesday.

They were available right away, the quality of the work was good. I have had similar work done before and the price seemed high. If I was not in a hurry to get it done, I think I could have had It for half the price. Even being in a hurry, I expected it to be about 25% less. Circumstances don't always allow you to be flexible, so I bit the bullet and had them do it. I would not use them to replace a unit, but for a repair, they are expensive but available.

Went well, just a little mess to cleanup after. The main thing was the price and I did not want to write a review until this winter after waiting to see that there were no noticeable flaws in the installation. At the end of it all there was only one issue in that the fan system would only come on when in auto mode. I called and they were punctual about coming out to resolve the issue.

I had a great experience working with Stacey and his crew! Stacey was very responsive when I reached out to him about my job. He came the next day to evaluate the work and was willing to work with me to make sure a few unique features were included to address some peculiarities with my home. He provided me a quote before he left and his price was very competitive. He was also able to start the job within a week. On the scheduled day of the work he showed up on time and he and his crew quickly went to work. The crew members were nice guys and we had some great conversations about college and pro football. The majority of the work was complete by the early afternoon and the entire job was done in only one day. They showed me all the components of the system--outside the home, in the attic and in the house--and showed me how to use and take care of the system. After the weekend we wanted to adjust some of the airflow in the bedrooms and Stacey sent his crew to help us make these adjustments. I really enjoyed my experience with Stacey and his crew. They did a great job and were wonderful at making sure the work was tailored to my specific preferences and needs. I strongly recommend them!

Stacey came and reviewed my system in March 2015 and said he thought my home warranty repair guy could get the system back up and running. He gave me great guidance and the home warranty contractor was able to do what Stacey recommended. He said if they weren't able to get it running, he was able to replace my old unit with a used system for a huge savings. Late last week a power surge in my neighborhood caused the compressor to go out intermittently so Stacey Calahan was my first call. Stacey and his guys were professional, friendly, helpful and detailed in their replacement of my unit. The replacement isn't pretty like a new one... but it is working great and blowing air at approx 50º. This went so smoothly, one of my best friends is doing a similar project with Calahan today.

Stacy reached out to me the same day I contacted him and he came out the next day and gave us a free estimate. The inside unit was the original (circa 1970's) and our inspector had informed us that it was "on it's last leg". Stacey came and did a thorough assessment and recommended a complete new system as the outside unit was very old and replacing both would make the unit much more efficient. We purchased a 3-ton 14 SEER Rheem and Stacey and his crew provided excellent service through out the entire process. He called to schedule the install and took the time to inform us that the copper pipe that was buried in the back yard that ran from the outside unit to the inside was too large for the newer freon used in this system. He completed all the work in a timely fashion and he and his crew are polite, respectful and cleaned up after the job was done. They worked late into the evening to finish and he even sent a picture of the of the installed unit to us on our phone that night. :) From beginning to end this was an easy process and I would definitely recommend Calahan Construction in the future. Great Experience! Stacey came over and gave me a quote for no charge within a day of me contacting him. He was able to come back two days later to replace the AC and gas furnace. The old unit still worked so there was no immediate need. His crew was great. They had to deal with a tight attic space and ended up working all day to get the new unit in. Once done they walked me through everything before asking me to sign off and pay. I've already spoken to them about coming back out in the future to do some painting and other work.

It would have been helpful if they would have specified that the deal was just for one A/C as I have 2. They didn't end up doing the work.

The toilet and window repairs went fine. We called because a/c had broken. Stacey looked at it and said there was a leak somewhere. He said he would top it with freon and put dye in so he can find the leak in about a month. A month later and a/c is no longer cooling. I call Stacey and ask him to come back and look for the leak and repair. He curtly tells me it is the evap coil and it will be $2000. Then why did we waste time and money refilling freon and supposedly putting dye in the line if he knew it was the evap coil. No discussion of options, no talk of the condenser. I finally cancelled the appointment and went with another provider. I checked with them and despite what I read online the price quoted was fair, but I did not trust Stacey to do the repair after our interactions.

I paid an additional fee for repairs. They were fairly quick and they were honest.
