Andys Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

The crew was on time, prompt, courteous and clean up was perfect. I have used them in the past and have been impressed at their professionalism and speed at which they work. They charge $95 per hour for a two man crew, which seems high, but parts were reasonable. However, they work quickly and efficiently and worth the price. Other guys may be cheaper but will take longer, so the cost is about the same. However, if you have to take time from work to be there, these guys will work quickly to get the job done.

The work was performed in a timely manner and the workmen were very professional and prompt. I would hire them again if I ever need my sprinkler repaired again.

I was impressed with the courtesy and efficiency of this company from the beginning. The person scheduling was most helpful and friendly, I was scheduled in quickly and given a two hour window for my service call, and was called with actual time that day that tech was to arrive at my location. Within the first 30 minutes or so they found the source of the leak (and I have a large property), told me it was a bad valve and showed it to me, they had the part on the truck to fix it, they repaired it as well as other minor repairs to my system, and were done in less than 2 hours. I was very pleased with the service and would call them again.

I called and made the appointment for a convenient day. Adam called me and they were running ahead of schedule and he wanted to know if it would be okay, if they come on out. It was fine with me. He kept me well informed of what he was doing and the costs. I was very pleased.

Their representative came over ahead of the appointment time, which was great. We reviewed the overall sprinkler system and then made out the game plan. The broken pipe was fixed along with the replacement of the ineffective and some broken sprinkler heads. A suggestion was made to install a wireless rain sensor, which we added onto the job. They spent four (4) hours on the job-site as it was involved.

I thought this company was very cautious when it came to not tearing up my yard more than they had to. The people were friendly and did a great job on the installation. It took them a full day. One of the guys did explain how to operate the system just in case. They did set it up to go at certain times before they were done.

I was very pleased with them. They sent three guys and they were very quick to make the repairs. I recommended them to my son and he has been happy also. The first break in the pipe took them only fifteen minutes to fix.

Dulcy's is very reliable and competent. They do a wonderful job of clean up afterwords and replanted the grass after the job was finished. I have used them for years and never call anyone else.

The service they offer is very competitive and they know a lot about this business. I like the fact that everything was guaranteed and they even helped settle an issue with neighbors that occurred about the land. They were excellent through out the whole process.

Our city recently damaged our irrigation system when the workers repaired our sidewalk in the front of our house. Andy's Sprinkler Drainage and Lighting were courteous, diligent and professional in all aspects (courteous on the phone, easy to schedule the repair and prompt). They fixed the 'leak' where I had marked, and once it was fixed, they found a second 'cut' which they also repaired quickly . In general they were thorough but for two minor areas. First, they failed to check one of the sprinkler heads before they left. I tested it myself only to find it not functional. I called the dispatcher, and the repair men were back within 5 minutes. Good service. Second, if they were to repair the cut again, I'd probably request that they do a better job of returning the dirt and packing it down. That's a minor issue. I found them very informative as they showed me how to repair/unclog my own sprinkler heads.

I don't remember how many crew members were here, at least 3 or 4. The work was performed efficiently and professionally over about 3 hours.

They never showed. They kept calling and postponing the appointment by an hours. I give them credit for calling, but I began to believe they were not telling the truth. I had things to do, so I cancelled. I called the main number and was given a brusque brush-off.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. First, they showed up 45 minutes early with 3 guys (they called ahead to see if it was OK to come early). They immediately replaced my old control box at my request. When we started up the sprinkler system they noticed an underground leak I was not aware of. Turns out tree roots cracked one of the PVC pipes. In the process of fixing the broken PVC pipe, one of the guys accidentally ruptured the main water line to the sprinkler system. It took them an extra 1 hour to fix the main pipe which was done at no charge. After some additional tests, they determined my control valve was not working properly so they replaced that at no charge because they said the broken water main could have caused the problem. In all, the 3 guys spent 3 hours at my house but only charged me for 1 hour of labor ($95). Plus, I got a 1 year warranty on all parts and labor. How can you go wrong with all that?

The job was done to my satisfaction. The workers showed up on time, performed their duties efficiently and tested the system once completed to ensure every ting was working properly.

A repairmen and his assistant came to the door then got right to work. The were very competent and really did not need me to tell them the problem I was having as they were about to determine it without my help. They replaced the heads, checked the water pressure and water coverage and made some suggestions about future work that might reduce the amount of standing water on the side of my house.

Overall it went very well. My appointment time was from 3 pm to 5 pm but they did not show until 5:30 pm. They did call to let me know that they were running late. They were not able to finish the job until after dark so it was difficult to positively say that they repaired all of the broken heads. I'm not 100% sure that they really had to change out as many heads as they did but I wanted to have the system fixed so that I was not wasting water so it was worth it to me. The entire staff was very professional and easy to work with. I would use this company again.

I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate and was told that someone would call me back within 48 hours. 1 week later I received a call (I had already had the work done by then by another company). The person that called was very nice and apologized for the delay stating that he had just received the message to call me that day.

Went well, professional and on time.

They repaired the system and made sure ready for season.

Sales representatives were courteous and up-front with pricing information and scheduling. Technicians arrived on time and confirmed the problem but could not pinpoint it. Instead they offered the use of a machine (for an additional $30) to sniff it out. Had I known more about my system in advance I would have declined this service and showed them directly to the valve box, where the problem existed. After finding the faulty component, they recommended I replace my entire sprinkler valve to "guarantee" performance over the next year. Feeling a little like a hapless customer at the mechanic, I refused. During the course of testing the system they found and replaced (at my expense) what they said was a malfunctioning sprinkler head. I was not given an opportunity to see or agree to this extra charge. Bottom line, they completed the repair for about $45 more than I expected, and I will probably look to a different company for similar work in the future.

Contractor did a great job. They completed the work in 2.5 days with minimal inconvenience. The system they installed works great and they left the yard as clean as they found it. Josh DePauw, the crew leader, was very professional and did a great job instructing me on how to use the system.

Arrived on time and went straight to work. Resolved problem quickly and repaired break. Traced additional problem with one head not working to another break, repaired it, and intalled an additional head I had requested. Two man crew worked well together and effeciently. Was charged for one hour labor and parts. I expected to pay more. Very personable, knowledgeable and effecient. Selected this company from other referals on Angies List.

I had been using someone recommended by our landscaper, but was dissatisfied with the poor customer service. I tried Andy's Sprinkler and was pleased from the get-go. The scheduler was friendly and scheduled us immediately. The crew came out the very next morning and were extremely polite, knowlegeable, fast workers. Before performing any work, they informed me of the problem areas, explained possible solutions, and the cost. After agreeing to the work, they were done very quickly and again explained everything. They didn't leave until they were sure I was satisfied and had no further questions. The work AND the customer service was superior and I will never use anyone else again!!
