Andys Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

Zach and Monty arrived early. I described the problems to Zach, and they checked out the system. Zach then summarized what they had found and the repairs they recommended. One of the zones needed to be adjusted, and another zone was working poorly because of a broken pipe (the pipe was probably damaged when the fence was replaced recently). Two heads needed to be replaced. They repaired the system and adjusted the timing to encourage the grass in the dry zone to recover. I had to go to work so my wife paid them. She and I both agreed that they were very courteous and professional. We were pleased with the results and the price seemed reasonable.

Crew of three workers and supervisor took approx 5 work hours on a very hot day. All work completed as requested, everything worked perfectly when they were done.

Overall, I had a great experience. I was originally supposed to have Daniel come to the house. When he realized that an earlier job was going to take a lot longer than expected, he called the office and requested a replacement so I could have my issues resolved that day. Daniel called me to let me know that Parker would be coming in his place. Parker and Israel showed up a little while later and after 2 hours, were done. There were very polite and really seemed to know what they were doing.

We were very pleased with the work. The price was reasonable. We were pleased that they finished the job in two days and did what they said they would. We would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

We had ideas about what was needed. Deck Hulcy met us and gave us a general idea of the cost. Scheduled for the next week. Called before arriving. Walked through with crew supervisor, then they got to work. One person did all the items in the front, including installing new outlets in a shrub bed, while two were working in the back on the leak. When that repair proved to be quite difficult, another crew arrived to help out to finish in a timely manner. cleaned up and replanted all the grass.

Wonderful. Returned my call for service promptly and scheduled me for two weeks out. Called me when there was an earlier opening. Made a reminder call the night before the service. Showed up early (but called first to confirm that this was OK) did the repairs and maintenance. Very professional.

They arrived within an hour of my call. My options and what they would do was described in detail. They completed the work within an hour and made sure I completely understood my invoice and that all of my questions were answered. They cleaned up beautifully and gave me some suggestions as to how I might prevent needing this repair in the future.

I decided against a project of this scope.

I'm so glad I found these folks. Brett did the controller replacement and sprinkler check. My system had not been checked out in quite a while, and I knew there were several areas that were not getting the proper water. Brett was extremely knowledgeable and replaced heads and other parts as needed and redirected the spray in some areas. I was particularly concerned about the landscaping area and he suggested drip irrigation tied into the sprinkler system as the best solution for my setup. I had investigated this before and now decided to go ahead with it. So about a week later Pete and his team came out to install the drip lines around 3 sides of my house. What a great system! Water conservation, it takes care of watering our Texas foundations and no need for putting hoses around any longer to supplement. Pete was also very knowledgeable and made a couple of suggestions that I would not have thought about -- adding a line around the trees and also optional lines that can be inserted into planters by the entrance. I was very happy dealing with both Brett and Pete and recommend them both highly. This is now one less thing to be concerned about in maintenance of my house. I will certainly call Andy's whenever I have any irrigation issues as well as for an annual check of the system from now on.

They were always on time to do the work. They made sure everything was working right before they left. They cleaned up everything before they left. They saved some money because they didn't do what I told them. What they did was cheaper.

They were courteous, on time (early even), neatly dressed and well spoken. They did an overview of my system, offered suggestions, gave pricing and were ready to do the work then and there upon my approval. I was surprised as to how quickly they accomplished the tasks. The final cost was well below the prior estimates I received.

It went very well. Andy's is pretty expensive, but they do good work, show up on time and know what they are doing. They charge by the hour and had two workers. I think it would have gone faster with more workers though. We had to add a line of sprinkler heads in the yard facing the side beds. It took quite a while. Again, I think more workers would have been beneficial. One checked the heads all over the yard (replacing a bunch) leaving one to dig the trench, which took quite a while. Then they still had to fix the leak. They really do good work though. We have used them before and have always been pleased. We did ask about having our landscape lighting fixed and possibly added on to and were told someone would call us about that. No one has ever called.

The project was completed and we are very happy with the outcome. Corey showed up with the crew around 7am and left around 7pm (maybe a little later) the first day. On the second day the crew showed up around 7am and finished the job by 3pm. They completed an over sized lot in a day and 1/2 - wow! At the end of the 2nd day, Corey explained how the control center worked and then walked me around as we watched the zones being tested. Explained what we may or may not see and was very helpful with any of the questions that came up. The crew was absolutely, 100% professional, courteous and down right awesome. I will say that while their price was a little more expensive than all of the other quotes we received but we can honestly say that we got what we paid for - a GREAT job. We originally found Andy s though another source not realizing that we could gather homeowner comments and experiences on Angie's List. After reading most of the reviews and replaying the conversation I had with Kevin Jones, the Rep, he sold us. He was very clear and explained what we needed and where and was as nice as he could be. We will absolutely keep their name & number handy and refer them as often as we can. We are very pleased with their work ethics and workmanship. THANK YOU

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They sent out a rep to bid the job in timely fashion and got on the job in a timely fashion. They did the work in 2 days with a crew of from 4 to 6 men. The crew was friendly, hard working and made a good appearance. Very professional in every way. I would give them the highest ranking and would recommend them to others.

They were able to get me in within a day of calling as they had someone in my area that day. They were very professional, and made sure to let me know that the job before me was taking just a bit longer than they expected. When they showed up they were completely professional and thorough. Nick figured out where the problems were and showed me what needed to be done. He said they had all the parts they needed in the truck and could get the job done in 30 minutes. It took a little longer than 30 minutes, as they found one of the pipes was broken and wasn't the easy fix they had at first envisioned. Nick and his helper were very efficient, though. I was very pleased with the service, and will definitely call them again. I even got a phone call this afternoon from someone in their office making sure everything was done to my satisfaction, and everything has a 1 year guarantee on it.

Overall they did a good job. They showed up on time when they said they would. I would use them again.

Pipe was fixed. Never pursued additional work because another Angie's List vendor did the work for much less cost and turned the project around much more quickly.

I called Andy's after reading all the excellent reviews, and was not disappointed by their good service! They scheduled me in for a couple of days after I called, and then called ahead on the day of the appointment to confirm. The guys who did the work were very efficient, finding and fixing the problem within the hour. They were very polite and just very nice generally explaining clearly the problem, showing me the broken part, etc. I will definitely use Andy's again.

I was impressed by how quickly they came to my house (the next day and on time) and how efficiently Sergio and his crew member handled the job. I was also impressed by the efficiency of the office staff and the follow up call from Ashley making sure everything went all right. I will use this company again and recommend them to my friends.

It's always great to find a contractor whose primary focus is ensuring customer satisfaction. I've already called this company to come back and provide a bid on landscape lighting.

The drain pipes were installed with no problem, but they had a hard time determining problem with sprinkler leakage. They came back 4 times to repair thinking it was just rocks in the pipes. Finally they put a screen in keep rocks out & that worked. Their customer service was exquisite with apologies each time & no charge to come back out. They also tried to do it quickly once notified each time. I would certainly use again, although I'm sure they are sick of me!

I was very happy with these guys. Two guys came initially, we walked the entire system, talked about both the front and back yard. He ended up calling in another few guys to help with the work. Brennen was the lead technician, he keep everything moving and gave me a honest assessment of my current system. After talking with him, we both agreed to update the front yard as much as possible at this point, and only fix a few issues in the back. The back yard will have to be totally redone, but I appreciated the fact that he said, lets fix the few leaks now (backyard), as it mostly works, we can come back after I have more landscaping in place to insure that we are watering what needs it. I was very happy with the work.
