Everything went well. The technician was very nice and very knowledgeable.

The price was higher than I thought it should have been. I didn't feel like I got a good deal or value from them.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic Andy's Sprinkler Service. We get routine sprinkler maintenance included in our yard fee, but we still use Andy's anyway - that's how good they are. Last year, we had them install an entirely new drainage system in our yard to go along with new gutters. While they weren't the cheapest quote, they were by far the most professional. The new drainage works great. When they encountered various issues as the work progressed, they added a few more drains at no extra cost. Last month, we used an Angie's Deal to have them come out and check our sprinkler system. They adjusted some heads and everything else checked out. Last week, however, I noticed water coming out of one of my control valves. I called them to do the repair. They said it was actually a broken pipe. They then noticed that the control valve was too close to the new drainage system -- so they moved that at no extra cost. They then also replaced a solenoid in the front yard they noticed leaking. They only charged $67 for all of that work (almost three hours), which amounted to a half an hour of labor, becuase they said the drainage system was under warranty, and so was any issue with the sprinkler because they didn't catch it last month! You can't get that kind of desire to satisfy the customer anyplace else. Just use them!

Andy did an excellent job and I would hire him again without reservation.

The crew of two arrived right on time. They worked very quickly and efficiently. They replaced the sod around the heads that were replaced; you almost couldn't tell that it had been disturbed.

Was good, they took our call over the weekend, which was good, and they were very prompt.

I tried to schedule using the email address that was provided and after two emails and a month later with no response I finally had to call them. So they not check email. When I called the lady was very nice and professional. We scheduled a time for 1pm and the technicians called beforehand and were even able to get at my house a little before 1pm. They were onsite for about 20 minutes and then left. He did offer some guidance on how to adjust my watering controller which was beneficial.

These guys are pros. They stick to their promises and walk you through the entire process start to finish. Now that they are gone, I can barely tell they were here (other than the small trenches in the back yard). Cory's attention to detail was amazing. I was behind on a DIY landscaping project, so i didnt have some flowerbeds even established. As I walked him through the yard, i told him things like where the flower beds were going to be and also where the flower bed edging was going. He not only remembered everything I said, but made sure all of it was communicated to his workers. Every request that I made was addressed without me having to remind them or say anything twice. They got it done, in budget, in scope and on time. They worked two 10 hour days to make sure it got done in time. They had to move most of my popups in the front because they had sunk several inches down below the grass level. They separated out the front 4 zones to 7, so it could better control water where it was needed, especially during the summer sun (this summer i was over watering one area just so enough water was getting to another area on the same zone). This will help me save water by being able to separate out the zones that need more water. They also added 4 additional zones in my back yard. They worked around the pool which was no easy task to get a trenching machine around it. I wanted 2 gutters downspouts tied into a drain so that the run off did not drain into my neighbor's house. I had the same thing done about 6 months earlier by a different company (which i have another review for). Andy's made sure that they drilled out the curb just like the other drain, so they would match. The other company used green pipe at the curb, so andy's made sure that they used the same color to make sure it matched on the curb. Little things like that tell you that they want to make sure it gets done right. All those little things add up and it shows! Cory came by late afternoon on the day the project was to be completed and walked me through every detail of the system. They even located a lost valve i could never find. He showed me every feature of the controller and how it works. The workers did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards. They took all of the water hose that I was using to irrigate the backyard and neatly stacked it in the corner of my house. They swept my pool deck that had chunks of cement and other debris I had found in the flowerbed from tilling the day before (I hadnt had a chance to pick it up and throw it away). They cleaned everything without me asking. Again all the little attention to detail adds up and it shows! I am very impressed with their attention to detail and professionalism throughout this project. I would definitely call them again for any irrigation and drainage needs. Thanks guys!

From the appointment setup, to the actual service call, to the phone call after the service call...everything was very courteous & professional. Any questions I had after the service call were thoroughly answered & he even said to call if we had any other questions about anything. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Called on a Tuesday when I came back in town from a trip and realized that my lawn hadn't been watered. The appointment times were a week out and I told her that I needed it as early as possible since I missed watering cycles with the restrictions. She kept my standing appointment and told me they would call if someone cancelled during her confirmation calls. I let her know that I would still be looking at other vendors and she was ok with that. I got a call back that afternoon letting me know they could be out in 3 days, which worked with my schedule. Confirmation call came the day before to make our times were correct. A two man crew showed up right at 9am as promised. They diagnosed the problem and made the corrections. Then I had them work on the sprinkler heads. All parts they needed were already on the service truck. They made all the adjustments and fixes within 45 minutes, pulled up an invoice on the tablet and e-mailed a copy whiile I was standing outside with them. Great service from begiinning to end. Listened to my questions and explained in detail before doing any work. I will use them again.

Went very well. Matt showed up in the time window that was provided. Matt was very helpful in fixing the leak and providing more information on the usage of my sprinker system and set up the watering times. Also provided some requested information related to French drains on the east side of the house.

Matt Hopkins arrived on time and thoroughly explained what inspections he would perform. After the inspection, he explained what he had found and showed me all of the problems identified. He also explained what would be needed to resolve the issues and clearly outlined the costs. After I agreed to the repairs, Matt and his associate promptly repaired all of the identified problems. He also re-programmed the timer and located a broken underground line that was wasting water. I was impressed with the thorough inspection and the fast turnaround to repair. I would strongly recommend Andy's Sprinkler service!

We got a reminder call the day before the appointment, then Pete called to let me know he was on his way, and arrived on the scheduled time. Pete and his crew were very kind and helpful, I even got an explanation on how to set my controller!! I would use the company again. They were very honest and didn't try to make me spend money, everything was functioning OK. Long story short, we are very happy with the service we received.

I didn't feel good about the overall experience. The crew came on time which is good. However, after checking, I was asked to add heads, move heads, replace nozzles, etc. I believe many of those are sound suggestions to fight the brown spots. But I feel about half of those are for the sake of money making. I turned down some but couldn't resist some of those. The big turn off came when I asked whether they would come out to fix it the measures do not work as expected. The answer was no -- they guarantee the spots will get more water, but no guarantee of how much it will improve. I guess it is a standard question to avoid liabilities. But what is the point to ask me to the repairs, if you don't want to stand behind it? The markup on parts is, I have to say, high. I may be speaking too soon, as I need more days to see the outcome of their work. But at the moment, I will be really hesitant to hire them again.

Louis came promptly on time. Fixed immediate issue. Gave estimate for adding a zone. A bit expensive. Work was done on the scheduled day. No issues. I had to call them another day to fix another failed part. Louis promptly came and fixed. Very reliable.

It took about 2 weeks before they could come out and fix my broken sprinkler system. But, I decided to wait on them becuase of their high rankning on Angie's List. I can be difficult to find good irrigation contractors. The final cost included additional charges I didn't expect. There was an extra charge for mileage because my house is beyond a certain distance from their shop (but not much in my opinion). The estimator during our phone call failed to mention this before I agreed to have them come to my house. I think it was about a $15 charge. I wasn't happy with this but didn't complain to the crew leader when he wrote up the ticket. I just won't use them again. Also, their parts were kind of pricey compared to another Angie List contractor I used a few months later. That contractor was equally good. Their work and professionalism were top notch. They showed up on time and did a good job cleaning up.

These guys are great! From making the appointment, to the phone call reminder the day before, to the professionalism and proficiency of the service techs ( Luis and Gustavo,) in getting the work done and walking me through the invoice, it was as every customer service experience should be. Luis listened carefully to the issues I was having and what I'd tried to do already to fix them, took his time explaining how we could solve the problem, and went about getting everything corrected during the visit. It all took less than 2 hours. I would use them again without question!

In the middle of one of our hotest summers ever, the work was done completely and efficiently. No problems or complaints from me.

Overall the process went well. Josh did a good job of staying on top of scheduled work, often calling to be sure that work was being done on schedule. Because my pool had been sitting for about four weeks, Josh suggested that I drain the pool & start fresh. I already knew I was going to need to do this & had looked at renting a pump; I found that there were no nearby rental places for getting a pump. So...I was very surprised & pleased when Josh offered to loan me a pump, for free. Great customer service!

The two representatives arrived about 20 minutes late, but they were well worth the wait. They listened carefully to my concerns, then addressed them all. I knew of several problems with my irrigations system. One sprinkler head shot water straight up. Another didn't work at all. A third one watered the street instead of the grass. The shrubs in front of our house were wilting, from lack of water, and I was having to water them by hand. The battery in the control box was low and the timer was two hours off. I had to be sure I was watering in compliance with the water restriction rules in Grand Prairie and doing so without wasting precious water. These gentlemen assessed my irrigation system, then talked to me about what was needed to fix it, including the cost of all additional parts. Then they quickly fixed all these problems. They finished the job within an hour and the price was reasonable. My irrigation system now functions efficiently and I have peace of mind. Thank you, Andy's Srpinkler, Drainage and Lighting!

Made an appointment online on a Friday night after 7:30 pm, received a call Monday morning bright and early and an appointment was set up for Thurs. Matthew Hopkins called 30 min prior to the appointment to let me know he was on the way. When he arrived with a second person or assistant we covered what I thought I needed and wanted such as all existing sprinkler heads to be replaced (20 year old or more) with 6 inch pop ups as the existing ones did not come up high enough for proper coverage. After seeing the system in operation Matthew suggested that several heads needed to be relocated for better coverage and one area had no coverage at all. He then took the measurements for the drip irrigation and counted the heads to be replaced. He then gave us an estimate on the work and informed us that it could be done the following Thurs. if approved with a 5 man team doing the work. We approved the estimate and set the Thurs. appointment to have the work done. The following Thurs. Pete Fuentes again called 30 min in advance to let us know he was on the way with the crew. They arrived on time and everyone looked sharp and got right to work. They spent from 9am to 7:45pm doing the work and I never saw anyone goofing off. We were very impressed with the knowledge of the workers and the job that was done. We will be using them again for any maintenance work we need done in the future and strongly recommend them. They stayed long enough to answer all of our questions about the controller and how to set it or change it if needed.

They were prompt, courteous. They were in uniforms, they were very quick. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I have used Andy's before and cetainly would recommend them to anyone needing sprinkler work. They were running a bit behind schedule today but kept me informed by phone of the delays and anticipated arrival so I could plan my day. Matt Hopkins was quite knowlegable and a pleasure to work with. He and his team got right down to work, identified what needed to be done and completed the work in a professional, timely manner.

Arrived on-time and called ahead of time to verify appointment. Got started right away and worked diligently in 100 degree heat to replace broken valve. Very professional and well-versed in all lawncare issues. Has a degree in horticulture and knows his stuff. I was impressed. Will definitely use them again.
