Andys Sprinkler Drainage & Lighting

From start to finish it was went very well and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Matthew came out on April 3rd to perform the estimate. Estimate received via email on April 5th and April 10th or 11th I called to schedule the work. The work was scheduled to start May 9th. Approximately a week before a city planner came out to mark off where lines were running around the entire property line. On May 9th Matthew arrived at about 8:30 AM to let me know that his men were on the way and who would be in charge. He gave me his card with a direct number so if I had any questions. I work from home so I went back to my home office and continued working throughout the day. At about 4:00 PM Matthew stopped by again to check the progress and check in with me and provide a status update. He confirmed that I didn't need to be there for the rest of the evening since I had bowling. I came home at about 10 PM which is the first time I took a look at the work completed and I was impressed. First, the drain itself looked awesome. They had removed about 16" of concrete in front of the garage and had put in new concrete that included sloping into the new drain. Next, I noticed on the left side of the driveway an additional drain installed at the corner of the planter and that the bricks which had broken loose due to the water build up had been cemented back in on the planter. Lastly, I noticed another drain on the right side of the driveway just beyond the end of the drain. Next morning, I checked out the drain outlet in the backyard and it looked great and the team did such an excellent job it was actually hard to see where they had dug the trench for drain (which I had seen from my office window). Matthew showed up at about 8:30AM to do a walk through of the work. in the hour since I checked the backyard, his team team had come in and using flat rocks created a cover around the drain ended point to protect it and made it look nice. Front yard, he walked me through the main trench drain and the addition left drain which he added since noticed it was low point that the trench drain would no address. Explained the purpose of the drain on the right side and how to clean it. The amount paid was the amount in the estimate. In summary, I am thrilled and impressed with the work performed. The entire process was made easy and since I am a "Work at home" employee being able to participate in conference calls while the work was going on was important. I am already planning re-engage the company once I've saved the money for installation of a sprinkle system.

They wanted to charge me $95 to come out and give me an estimate. In this competitive environment, do people still charge to give an estimate.

The crew came out, performed the tune-up, provided recommendations on sprinkler placement. Checked my rain sensor and controller and made sure it was all working the way it needed to.

The installation went extremely well. Danny, the project manager, was thorough in his evaluation of the problem and identifying potential issues that might occur during the installation. The time to do the installation fell within his time range. I am very confident that the new drain channel will take care of my concerns in the future.

Repaired, but price was not transparent. More expensive than I thought it would be and that which was communicated.

They did a great job, were very neat, and cleaned everything up before leaving.

quick service, clean up was spotless

We were very pleased with Andy's. They were the best sprinkler repair people we have ever used.

This is the 2nd time I have used Andy's Sprinkler service. I used them again because they are very responsive and professional from taking the call to the technician. Sergio and his assistant knew the issue and fixed my problem. I had a sprinkler valve that was not completely shutting off and was causing a sprinkler head to leak over the curb. Sergio located the zone valve and after digging up the valve discovered that a very large tree trunk had interfered with the solenoid. A new valve was relocated about a foot away from original position and reconnected. One big reason I use Andy's service is because they carry all the parts on the truck - there is no running to local hardware store after diagnosing the issue.

Fair, my AT&T U Versa TV, Internet and phone were down, because. Andy's wsorkers cut the wire. I am still waiting on AT&T to install underground wire. Not sure if I would use this vendor again. A month later I am still waiting on getting permit for new AT&T wire sevice.

Miguel and his partner did an outstanding job. It was raining but that did not stop them from testing the entire system, finding the problems, and explaining what it would take to fix those problems. They did top notch work, can't even tell where they had to dig to replace control valves. They replaced 4 control valves and several sprinkler heads. They even found a sprinkler head that had gotten buried and forgotten. Andy's is now my "go to" for anything lawn sprinkler related!

The workers warned us that they may have to replace the value, but my husband told them to try to repair it. They did the repair and then told me that the brass valve should last a life-time. So glad they were able to repair it.

Very professional and friendly. Service was great although some pricing may need reevaluating. Overall very good.

They are about customer service Although we didn't need there service I needed to put out there what a great experience we had .

They were super informative. Explained everything they were planning on doing and why it was the best most cost effective option. I will definitely use them again.

the two gentleman from Andy's showed on time and they were very careful in digging the trenches for the new sprinklers, they actually dug up the fiber optic cable to and made sure no damage would be done. entire installation was great. I am very appreciative of the care and extra time they took to ensure all went well. Very impressed overall.

It went well. The representatives performed a good service and were detailed. I was somewhat surprised at the high overall cost of the service, however, I do guess that the service was required. I dont feel that they made up items, but the items that were identified did seem a bit over priced.

Went well. Found some problems that looked reasonable, gave a bid and we had fixed. Thought that there was a problem, so they returned. Problem was a misunderstanding with our neighbor. No charge for the return call. Work performed I am very happy with.

First, tech checked each zone and reported several problems. He then walked the zones with me and pointed out the reason the repairs were being suggested. I realized some problems were more serious than others and chose to repair only the major ones. He and another tech made the necessary changes. I tried to call the office to ask about an Angie's List discount but the rep refused to put a manager on the phone. If the techs hadn't already started the work I would have cancelled the whole job due to lack of professionalism of the office staff. The next week, I noticed one of the heads that was supposed to be changed (head was causing water damage to the fence) had not been exchanged. I called the company back and had the tech make the repair and cover with me exactly the other work that had been done. He made a few alterations at no additional charge. This time I didn't care how dark it was outside..

The technician, Carlos Carbajal, called me when he was 20 minutes from the house. He showed up right on time and wasted o time diagnosing the issues with our sprinkler system. He was very professional and explained everything to me as he went along. We had no major issues, just a few heads that needed tweaking/replacing. He also re-set our automatic timer as it was watering too long on one day and not long enough on another day. Carlos is very courteous and I would ask for him again. I have used Andy's several times over the years and all their technicians have been good. I thought Carlos was just a bit better!

I can't say enough about Albert, the crew leader who took charge of rebuilding my 35-year old irrigation system. He was always punctual, easy to work with and knew what he was doing without a doubt. If you need repairs to your system, you owe it to yourself to give Albert at Andy's a call. Not sure if I should give out his cell number, but it's 210-632-4087.

Technician arrived at on time and checked the system. He called and said the the controller need replacement and the cost would be $327. I authorized the work based on his verbal pricing. When the work was done the tech called to inform me the work was done and they adjusted all the heads for no additional charge. He proceeded to tell me the total was $694. A far cry from the $327 quoted. I had written down the original price of $327 when he called. The Tech explained that I was mistaken and he never said that amount. I didn't pull that number of of thin air. The Tech then said he would just remove the box and only charge 95 for the service call. Great bait and switch.. After much argument back and forth the tech said he would remove the 95 service call. I did ask to speak to a supervisor but was told it's Friday evening and everyone was gone in the office. Needless to say I will never ever use nor recommend Andy's Sprinkler svc. I had used them several times in the past for repairs to my rental property but never again. I will follow up with the Attorney General's office for deceptive trade practices.

It went well. I'm still in need of more work. Trying to do what I can when I can pay.

Great. Work was completed in 3 days and cost was $1,500 - $4,000 less than other quotes I received.
