Luis is very good and they are one of the best companies that we have used. We have used them several times and they always do an excellent job. They are great people to work with and they can do anything. My husband says to call them every time any work on the system is needed as we trust them.

It went well and we’ve been thinking about calling him again. The system has held up fine since they did the work. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions.

Great response time and service at a reasonable price

Went great. I was so worried that this was going to be a major replacement because water was gushing into the main valve within the primary front yard sensors. The 2 man crew called 20 minutes before coming out and was right on time . They got to work immediately and idenetified the problem. They corrected the problem with the main valve (somehow tubing came loose) and they replaced two heads that were no longer working. They also plugged 2-3 holes within the flowerbed trip system. After they completed the work, they went over my system with me and reprogrammed the main system. I didn't know you could run the drip system everyday so he reprogrammed the unit to have two different programs. They walked around to test all other units and they were done within an hour.

I'm doing what the owner of this company would do in a situation like this, calling companies that want my business and not just my money!

This company did an excellent job. I would use them again.

I had tree roots which pushed existing piping around, and knocked a sprinkler head loose. The guys from Andy's came exactly on time and had to dig a bigger hole and also had to cut into existing pipework to get rid of all roots. A couple hours of work, new piping and new connections for all wires (they had to cut the wires too to get to all the roots). They did a great job replacing the sod as well as cleaning the muddy dirt off the sidewalks, and made sure all lines worked. They also only charged one hour of labor with two guys there the entire time; it was more a one-person job but this was appreciated. Would use them again!

Brett was great. Appt time was for Tue @ 8:30am. I received a reminder call the day before and Brett was at my house Tue @ 8:20am - 10 minutes early! He was very professional & efficient. He did a great job of installing the tubing & sprayers for the potted plants around the backyard. I feel very confident that my flowers will look great all summer now! Andy's does charge labor by the hour but I felt like Brett was very conscious of that & worked as quickly as possible to ensure that my money was not wasted.

The tune-up went well and I've not had any issues with the sprinklers since they came out. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. They did good work and I was overall satisfied.

They were very punctual and worked each day they were here until dark. The explanation of the program settings by Danny was very thorough when the worked was completed. The crew was so neat my neighbors commented that it didn't look as if any work had been done.

Men arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Checked all sprinkler heads of 6-zone system and replaced them where needed. Also made sure they directed water toward correct areas and not fence or street. They cleaned up after themselves putting grass back over areas where they had to dig up to replace any additional piping. System was tested after work was finished. The job took approximately 35 minutes. They were polite and very professional. I was extremely pleased with my first experience using Angie's List.

I came to my SIL house Thursday morning and she told me that the main water line was shut off bc there was a crack in the PVC pipe. She didn't know who to call, so I called Andy. I talked to representative and she was very professional. I explained the issue to her and ask that she send someone over emergency b/c we have no water. She was able to locate a crew 40 minutes away from the house (Little Elm). The show up about 10 minutes late, but that's perfectly fine for us. I showed them the cracked, and the technician lay out the cost for me and explained what he will do. He did exactly that and done within an hour. We had our water back in an hour. The work was professional and they were very nice. I would highly recommend anyone to use them. They are A+.

The tune up went well and I haven’t had any issues with their work. No complaints! I had a leak that I couldn’t identify, and they were helpful in identifying it.

This service was performed quite some time ago. They did a good job as I remember, but I was put off by their continuing to find things to charge me for and it felt like I was being gouged.

They were on time, very professional, and worked quickly. They were pleasant to work with and I felt they were truthful in their findings and recommendations for our situation. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

We had been noticing a perpetual wet spot in the grass beside the house for a few months, but it wasn't too bad until recently when it noticeably worsened. I researched Angie's List, and so Andy's Sprinkler, Drainage & Lighting came to top of the list. Their rating included mostly all top marks from a significant number of reviews, so we gave them a call. They quoted us an hourly rate of $110 and we agreed on a time for them to come out. They came out as planned, arrived on time and got right to work fixing the original problem, which they determined was a damaged/loose screw on top of an underground valve body. They replaced the valve and then we discussed also replacing a couple of sprinkler heads, which they handled with no problem. They were here for an hour and a half or so,did a great job and were very pleasant and professional. We hope to not have this type of problem again, but will definitely call them if we do!

My wife was home during the service. They explained the issues clearly before performing repairs. They had to dig in a small mulched bed right next to the swimming pool, and they were careful to keep the mulch out of the pool. They covered and leveled all the holes they dug so you can barely tell that anything was dug at all.

EXCELLENT!!! This was my second experience with Andy's and the first also went very well. The job was actually scheduled for 2/24 but because water was leaking into the street, they came out 6 days early to fix the leak, in below freezing temperatures I might add.

Overall, I was pleased with the outcome, but there were several hiccups worth mentioning that dampened my enthusiasm. Positives: Scheduling was easy and the person I spoke to was up front about their hourly rate ($109/two men per hour) On the first visit, the two workers were on time, and called in advance. They efficiently diagnosed the two major problems, and fixed one of the two, arranging to return to fix the major problem on another day as they were needing to move on to their next visit. This was honest, and I could appreciate how they wanted to keep to a schedule, but I was somewhat disappointed that the whole system wasn't repaired on one day. The main repairman gave me a reasonable estimate for what it would cost to fix the major problem (lack of a double check and reconnecting the front sprinklers), and his estimate was close to the final price. I was scheduled to have the second repair done on a day with terrible weather, so they called that morning to reschedule to the following day. Negatives: On the day of the second repair, they were supposed to show up at 3 pm, but didn't actually arrive until 4:30. I only learned this was happening by calling the company at 4 PM to inquire about their anticipated arrival. In light of the fact that on the first day of their visit, they left "early" to move on to another job, I found this to be somewhat disappointing. They came with 3 and not 2 people, which may have expedited some aspects of the job, but also meant that I was expected to pay more per hour. This was not mentioned in advance. Because they showed up at 4:30 rather than 3, it got dark as they were finishing the main repair. At the first visit, having inspected all my sprinklers, we identified a few minor sprinkler head problems that they promised to fix on the second visit. Because it was too dark to see anymore, they couldn't do it, so the total job was 95% complete.

I was told the price per hour of work, with a one hour minimum. Two people showed up and did a very professional job. My problem is what I was charged for parts use to repair/replace the valve and line.

They were very professional, punctual and polite and quickly diagnosed the problem with the non-working zone.

The guys were very nice and punctual. They seemed knowledgeable and repaired the problem fine. They told me they checked all stations and sprinkler heads as well. However, when I re-checked the stations later that week, one station clearly had a problem head and none of the heads were watering properly. I was also told there was a $10 discount for new Angie's List customers, which the dispatcher agreed to apply to the bill. The guys forgot to do this, and I called the company and was told they would send a check or credit my credit card. This was never done, unless the check got lost in the mail... (giving them the benefit of the doubt). This is just a little complaint, but I would prefer to use a company that is not too busy to follow through on its claims.

Reviewed for me how the controller worked. Used Andy's at our old house in Far North Dallas and have never been disappointed. They work efficiently and are very professional.

Luis of Andy's Sprinkler told me I needed a plumber for leaky hose bibs and that he could not get a good pressure reading on irrigation based on those leaks. I hired a plumber (another trip charge too) who said both of the hose bibs in question were in the actual irrigation system not home plumbing. Plumber said Luis at Andy's should have known this and tight the bibs. The sprinklers heads replaced and new head installed were fine however, I feel that Andy's attention to detail was not good on this particular trip. Further last time they were out (6 months earlier) I asked them to check my entire sprinkler system for repairs and tuneup and not major things were reported however, they encouraged me to purchase a new Rainbird control system which was a unexpected larger dollar amount I and not planned on. Some how I feel that Luis may be based on a commission sales arrangement as the add-ons are strongly suggested even when not necessarily needed. I previously had Andy's Sprinkler & Drainage bid French drain in my backyard they were 2.5 times what two other Angies List contractors bid. they also gave me a bid with the recent service to install bubblers to my rose beds and which Luis said would required taking up the 3ft X 15ft stone pathway to run lines and reinstall stone pathway on a new installed separate station estimated at $1150.00 seems excessively priced. I will be getting other estimates on this portion of my project. Andy's is good for basic sprinkler head repair or irrigation system installation however, for more extensive work related to drainage and stonework, hose bibs on irrigation system and would look elsewhere.
