I don't think I ever used this company, nothing against them.

They are fine and we have used them several times.

Andy's was rated A by other reviewers and my wife has seen their trucks in our neighborhood. Their fee of $95 to eval our 22 zone Rainbird system was less than the company I was using to test/repair system over the last several years. These are the reasons I hired them for the system evaluation. Calling for an appointment was easy. The first appointment was rained out (last friday when DFW received 7 inches rain in 36 hours). Andy's called to reschedule. They came out yesterday. They called from truck about about 30 min ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. I really appreciate when providers do this. It was a 2-man crew. Carlos and his assistant, both were experts in Rainbird and sprinklers, coverage etc. They tested system, identified corrections needed, gave me an estimate. One of the recommendations was to replace the controller. It was originally installed in 1999 (according to date stamped inside the controller). A component inside the controller was hot and buzzing. Carlos explained this is not normal. He also explained that they identified sprinklers that didn't open when their zone was on but that those same sprinklers opened when they tested each sprinkler head manually. Conclusion the controller is to blame. I was fine with estimate to install new Rainbird Controller. The old one was 16 years old and ready to retire. The new controller is much easier to use and more compact. It has digital readouts and I like it. This was a 3pm service call and they had all parts needed on their truck. That late in the day it would be conceivable that some parts may not be available, but that was not the case. I really appreciated that too. After all repairs and new controller installed, they ran thru the system with me so I could see everything work. Unfortunately, I had forgotten that the sprinkler heads inside my 10 x 20 ft vegetable garden had been disconnected several years ago. I asked Carlos if they could remove those sprinkler heads and adjust the ones that where on the outside edges of my garden so that they covered the garden area plus the areas of the yard they were already covering. So they accomplished that and the empty garden space is getting sprayed now. I plan to replace the garden with grass. I am happy they did all this extra work. I highly recommend Andy's Sprinkler and in particular Carlos and his assistant. I'm sorry I didn't get the assistant's name.

And us contacted promptly after I purchased my deal. Was able to schedule my service quickly. 3eService tech called before the scheduled time and were prompt. 3ePerformed tests and located several broken sprinkler heads and re adjusted my position on my drip line. Quick and efficient and will use in the future.

They did a good job with the repairs, and they used quality products. However, they refused to come back when we called them for subsequent work and wouldn't provide a valid reason.

They were great. Punctual and professional. Performed the service quickly and fairly.

It was fantastic, even if it wasn't 100% smooth. But I don't judge a company based on everything being 100% perfect all the time. I judge them based on their willingness to make sure the job gets done right and that they fulfill their promises. Andy's went above and beyond (specifically Jerry, who is wonderful), and left us feeling incredibly satisfied. The issue was that there was a bit of miscommunication on what should be done. The crew that came out to do the work didn't have the rain/freeze sensor to install, and they just changed some sprinkler heads without consulting with us -- as there were a few specific ones we wanted changed. Then they just left, with no foreman there to discuss everything with. Jerry eventually came over and was very patient as we explained the issues -- and VERY responsive. He came back today and installed the rain/freeze sensor himself, plus he changed out 7 more of our sprinkler heads simply because he didn't want us to feel disappointed. We don't. Assuming the drip irrigation system works as intended, we'll have gotten much more than our money's worth because Jerry went above and beyond to make things right. That kind of customer-first attitude makes me very comfortable recommending them to anyone. (I just added them to or HOA preferred contractors list.) Thank you Andy's. Very, very glad I chose you for this job.

Its been 2 weeks and everything is working fine. Very professional and thorough.

It costs me 1,200 to rewired the system. And it's still not working after the job was done. The agent told me because i had bad valves and need to replace them. But when i tested them, i have seen some of my valves(I have 8 valves, 3 of them are working, 2 of them had bad solenoid, and rest of them did not work) are working. Then the agent told me i had to change all of my valves for 2,000 more. I was like are you serious? I may as well just renew my whole system for this kind of money. I do not know how much will the other company charge me, but i don't think it will be more expensive than this one.

The tech showed me that I should wait for 5 seconds before turning on the switch. That was all he had to do. MMMMmmmmmmm. He suggested extending a sprinkler head longer. That and checking the system was all I remember him doing. I thought this was very expensive for this call.

Great service. It may take a week or more to book them, because of high summer demands from customers. However, they stayed in constant contact with us prior to the appointment. This was very reassuring. They are on time! We will keep using this company.

Great. My only problem is Angie's List charged me $95.00 for a special $59.00 service. I got the coupon that said $59.00 but I was charged $95 on my credit card.

In a word, excellent. I've used Andy's for both drainage and sprinkler work before, and as expected, they did an excellent job. The proposal was well-written, and Danny Richter of Andy's came out and went over the project with me, ensuring that I clearly understood what was to be done and why. He shot the area with a transit, to ensure that he would have the proper "fall" between the origin and end of the drain line. He estimated that the job would take about 1-1/2 days, which turned out to be accurate. The job was particularly challenging because the drain line had to go through a lot of underground utilities (electric, gas, cable, and water) that service both me and my neighbor, concentrated in a small area at the front of the property. Andy's crew hand-dug everything (no trenching machine was used) and had no problem navigating the utilities, which had been clearly marked at Andy's request in advance of the job. The crew (of five) showed up on-time the morning work was to begin, and worked very hard all day, until early evening. They did a very neat job of hand-digging all the necessary trenches, core-drilling the curb, installing the six catch basins, and piping everything up. They put all the dirt back in place and replaced the sod, which they had preserved. When they were finished, everything had been restored and looked virtually the same as before. There was no damage to the lawn or landscaping. Once the grass fills in (over the trenched area) you'll never know anything was done! The workers was very courteous and neat, cleaning up the job site at the end of each workday. When they were finished, they removed all the flags (placed there by the utility locator). After the job was complete, Danny came back out to do a walk-through with me, to ensure that I was completely satisfied, and to test the drain to ensure that it worked as designed. It did. All in all, I was well-pleased, and would have no hesitation recommending Andy's to others, or using them again myself. Regarding price... I note that Andy's has received an overall grade of "B" in that area. I had this job bid by three different companies. Andy's and one of the other two companies were nearly identical in price, and the third company was considerably lower. I reviewed all three bids, and in the end, had no problem deciding on Andy's to do the job. They also were the only company to provide me with a reference (in my neighborhood, incidentally), and that reference gave them a very positive recommendation. As to price, yes, it wasn't cheap. But the old adage applies: you get what you pay for; the bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten. Consequently, I've rated Andy's "A" in all categories, including price.

The team was very professional; work was done quickly but efficiently.

Arrived on time and explained steps they would do to first diagnose sprinkler system issues, then evaluate system and schedule. Identified several stations with poor wiring causing issues. Identified approximately 12 sprinkler heads that should be replaced and recommended schedule to meet city allowances and lawn needs. Very professional and efficient and considerate!

The tree roots and the extensive digging were an unexpected expense but it was a fair assessment of what needed to be done. So I was satisfied with that. Also, he kept me informed as they "dug into" the problem, which I appreciated. And it was a very hot day, so I made sure they stayed hydrated. Both were nice, friendly professionals who got the job done right.

Kelly and Juan came together with Kelly acting as the lead technician. Kelly was outstanding and together they expedited the whole process. Always kept me informed and explained my options. Very professional.

The valve problem was diagnosed in less than 10 minutes. The time to replace the valve and check all the heads in that zone was 60-90 minutes. The reason I'm giving Andy's a F for price is this.... They performed the exact same work on a different zone that failed within the last year or two. That charge was $100 less. I asked the service agent why this time was so expensive and he said that Andy's changed its pricing. Andy's has been my sprinkler service of choice since I bought my home in 2007. Based on these new prices, I'll be using a different provider in the future.

We have used Andy's on several occasions, some jobs were quite extensive. Our home is more than 30 years old, so we are bound to have sprinkler and drainage issues. This particular issue involved our sprinkler system controller. Andy's came out in quick order as they normally do. Jesus and Paulino were awesome. They took the time show us how to operate the new controller, they inspected all the sprinkler heads (found a broken one) and shortened a tall head that was just watering our window. The technicians always go that extra step and point out things they see that we may want to take care of, and why. Never pushy, they just tell us what they see.

I called Andy's sprinkler on a Friday and they were able to get me in quick on a Monday. When scheduling told them 2 sprinkler zones weren't working. Spencer came out was a nice guy, but lets me know that in addition to the $95 charge there is a charge of $75 per 30 mins to locate the zone issues ( inclusive of the first hour they changed me $95). I had explicitly called them to fix 2 zones that weren't working, I told him which zones were not working so I should have been told that there was a $95 diagnosis charge + $75 per 30 mins it took that is like double taxation. Visually I was able to locate the valves for the first zone, so that was fixed in the first 30 mins. The next zone issue couldn't be located , spencer worked hard to try to locate it and I get that. At the end he told me that he would follow up with a quote, and would be better to run a new valve than keep searching for the break. I never heard from him for 3 days, I called the office, to remind them he was supposed to send me a quote, I am here 12 days later still without a quote. Very poor follow up given they started a job and never finished it. They did replace one sprinkler head for that amount as well. I have an issue with the fact that if I am calling for something specific , if there are additional fees from a diagnosis perspective they should be mentioned upfront by scheduling team rathe, my bigger issue is there was no follow up whatsoever, in spite of me calling back and asking for the quote - they left the job unfinished and I have to get someone else to finish it up. Also when they left, controller was left with the sprinklers off which I discovered couple days later. To be fair I had very good service when I used Andy's the last 2 times I used them and that is why I called them out this time without hesitating. I am not doubting that Spencer worked hard and finding the issue. It is the lack of follow up that was very disappointing both from the office perspective given I called them to give them a second chance. Update: The Manager did follow up and didn't try to make excuses and was apologetic, going forward communications were what I expected from them in the first place. I did give them the benefit of the doubt, got work done from them and they did it well.

I have used Andy's before and as usual all went well. Seth, Joaquin, and Jesus were very professional and arrived on time as scheduled. They worked very fast which tells you they know what they're doing. The nonworking head had been capped off for some reason instead of fixed as it should have been by the previous owner. They dug down in three areas and was able to connect it to an adjacent riser and had it working as it should in no time. They tuned the other zones, gave me a list of other items that needed addressed and an itemized quote for everything. I chose not to have it all done at this time but will later. Seth also answered all my questions and taught me exactly how to use my control panel. Seth also set the panel to water my yard in what is called the "Method process" I believe. This setting waters the yard in three shorter periods which allows the water to soak in and not run off. They cleaned up after themselves and all was neat and clean. Andy's Sprinkler services are who I will use exclusively, no need to look elsewhere.
