All My Sons Moving & Storage

If I could leave a negative rating I would!! All My Sons Moving company gave me a quote of $139 per hour (3 hour min.) NO charge for gas and NO charge for wrapping supplies with a deposit of $100. We were moving our daughter from a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment. I secured my moving date for July 10, 2020 ONE full month ahead of schedule. I received a phone call to confirm the move July 9, 2020 at 7:45am along with the details of the charges which were $139 per hour (3 hour min) along with a fee of $100 for wrapping supplies and $100 for fuel (we moved 4 miles up the street. I responded to Matt with that s not what I was told when I scheduled the move he then replied with would you like to find another mover? I said no, how can I find another mover in less than 24 hours? . The only the Matt said back was I ll have to speak to Micha and tell him to be more transparent . After we hung up, I started to read all the other reviews.....they were all negative and horrible stories. So with this information. We began moving EVERYTHING we could on our own. The only remaking items were 1 queen bed, 2 night stands, 1 couch, 1coffee table, 1 accent chair, 2 end tables, 1 dresser & 2 patio chairs. Our appointment was set for 12:00 noon, we reserved the freight elevator for 2 hours (12-2). I called to confirm they would be there at 11:50am. They said Jacob was on his way and would be there in 10 min. With several more phone calls, they finally showed up at 1:30pm.....1.5 hours late!!! The two men that showed up were nice young men, however each of them weighted about 90lbs each. One of the men had been on the job for 3 weeks and the other, well it was his first day! It took them 2 hours and 45 min to wrap the furniture!!!! They could not push the furniture up their ramp onto their truck, my husband had to help them load the furniture. Once they arrived to the new apartment, we were at the 3 hour minimum so they pulled out their note pad added 2 more hours we refused to sign for the charges and they said we can t unload without a final payment and your signature so basically they will hold your belongings hostage until you accept their terms leaving you with no choice!! We signed the notepad and my husband went to work helping unload. Once they unloaded our belongings they asked us if we had a knife to cut the wrapping off the furniture! WHAT.....???? I said you re a moving company, you do not carry cutters to cut tape? He said no, the company says they can be used as weapons......I replied with and a knife is not.......then I help up my cup and said this could be a weapon. My husband called the office manager to explain how we were misled and uninformed, he gave us a refund of $180. Our original total agreed upon was $439 our bill final bill was $925, we received a credit of $180 making our final total of $745. PLEASE DO NOT use ALL MY SONS MOVING CO. NEVER gave an apology!!! STAY AWAY FROM ALL MY SONS MOVING CO!

A nightmare of a move. Over charged. They moved 11 items. 2 bedroom sets a couch loveseat washer dryer and chest freezer. Took 3.5 hrs just to load the truck, I told them leave what I had left I would take it due to how long they were taking. I called the manager he said he would charge me 4 hrs and eat the cost for the rest. They left the dolly s at the old place so my son had to go get them, they broke a bed told me I have insurance for it. Dragged the other going to the truck. Left behind a mirror and headboard my son went back and they were still on the elevator. Manager charged more than he said and since I realized the broken bed and items left behind I have been calling and he will not answer. Save your money and stress and do not go with all my sons in Carrollton Texas. You will regret it. Contact the BBB

The actual cost was over the estimate by 50%. The team was to spend one-day packing and one-day loading. They spent two days packing and one-day loading while still packing. I had to take the inventory of what was being loaded since they did not label boxes correctly and did not have the personnel to fill in the forms, even though they had been informed that this was an International shipment and the forms had to be filled in detail and be correct. They also ran out of packing materials both days and I had to go to a famous home appliance store to buy additional materials. The estimate was done remotely using face time - this was probably what lead to the sub-par estimate but that lead to them getting the job.

Great guys. Cared about my stuff, and listened to concerns about my glass stuff I was worried about.

I was told 139.00 per hour. Charge 15-minute increments they were there 1 hour tried to charge me 375.00 plus 100.00 deposit. I told them to take the stuff back, I will rent a Uhaul instead

I still do know know what supplies they charged me for, I was completely packed and boxed. they all but threw my things in the storage. The movers were polite but they were maybe day labors, not profession movers. I was really not happy with them at all. I will nott use them again.

It was an extremely bad experience. Over 3 hours to load the truck with one bed room apartment. Held my things hostage until I paid total. Quoted $387 bit bill ended up as $866. I do not recommend this company at all. They are running a scam. Move starts ok but the slow down after checking with you that everything is going good. Move should one have been 3 hours total but ended up as 7 1/2 hours.do not use All My Sons moving company.

The guys who came to my house were great. The staff I spoke with on the phone, and the gentleman who came out to quote the move, were exceptional! I told them I was on a tight budget, and they took care of me, for exactly what they said it would cost.

Gilbert and his crew were amazing. Punctual, friendly, respectful of my property, great job!

Booked him to move my daughter but when her closing date changed to December 31st he wanted to charge another $20/hr bc it was the last day of the month and a holiday! He is very pushy and full of himself when initially talking to him!

Movers dragged their feet, took four plus hours to complete a 1 bedroom apartment move 10 miles away when everything was already packed. I was estimated two hours by the sales representative. I even tried to speed things up by carrying some of the boxes myself. A simple move cost me a lot more than what I budgeted.

Please DON'T DO IT!!! I used to ignore reviews ALL the time, but then I began to realize that these aren't just disgruntled customers, these are people who have actually been taken advantage of or received horrible service, and they are trying to warn us so it doesn't happen to YOU, so take heed. We used this company at the last minute...quoted $129 for 2 movers and a truck. Then they began to name off all of these other things they charge you for. Gas charge, extra hour trip fee, tape and other ish to wrap your furniture up, etc, etc, I could go on and on, TRUST ME. My husband said they arrived at 815am, came in our 500sq ft condo and looked around, then said they had to go back to the truck to do paperwork. At 915am they got started. After the truck was loaded (1215pm), my husband was leading the way when they pulled to the side of the road and told my husband they had to do paperwork and they knew how to get to our new location and would meet him there. They got to our new location (25 miles away) at 1pm. It literally was about 4-5 hours just to load approximately 40 boxes, 1 small settee couch, an easy chair, 2 bikes, a queen bed and 2 dressers. No appliances were moved. My husband and brother in law moved us in there from Plano (20 minutes away) in 2.5 hours and that was loading, driving, unloading. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone...I don't need to make any enemies. Please be aware, we ended up paying over $950 for a small apartment without a lot of furniture to move because we purchased new furniture that is being delivered. Take heed and believe what these people say about upcharges, DO NOT GET BLINDSIDED LIKE WE DID when you think you will only be paying about $500-600 and then get told it's going to be over $1000. I had to call 3 friends who live in the Preston area that I recommended to use this company and tell them to please find a different company...how embarrassing. They should be ashamed of themselves.

We were EXTREMELY pleased with the service we received from All My Sons. The movers were very courteous, efficient and worked together as a team and we were COMPLETELY satisfied. Job well done.

I had a very bad experience with this moving company. It ended up costing over twice as much as quoted, the furniture was not all unwrapped, many of the boxes were left outside on the porch, and I never received an email with the recept. When I unwrapped my leather loveseat the back was broken. The manager did not send me the insurance email.

I have moved out of state several times. ( TN, GA, CO and back to TX twice). Our experience with this move to say the least was by far the worst. The movers were very nice but inexperienced. Mattresses were not wrapped, tops and bottoms of furniture were not wrapped and many pieces were damaged or broken. Boxes were crushed and dented. The sales rep. represented many services that were not provided such as covering carpeting and keeping us posted with the schedule before the move. I boxed and wrapped everything. and had only a few things broken (so far) with all the damage to the boxes. In my opinion, my care for our things by wrapping kept damage to a min. Who knows what would have happened if they had been responsible for boxing up everything. Since it was an out-of-state move, the main truck (we had to have an additional truck because they did not estimate or load the truck properly) had a flat tire and the movers arrived hot, tired and behind schedule - arriving in the late afternoon. They should have sent a fresh crew or additional people. These men out of St. Louis were hard-workers and knew their job. We did help them unwrap and carry things to speed things along. By 10:30 at night, everyone was tired and we told them that we would put together furniture. They had a two hour drive to return back to the nearest location. We discovered many missing nuts, bolts and etc. (from the initial loaders) that we had to purchase to put those things back together. The second truck arrived 5 days later with the items that would not fit on the first truck. So far, we had to ask them to locate a missing dolly and 12 ft. ladder that was left in Dallas from the second truck. My husband contacted the GM and several others who seemed to think the truck was loaded properly and wasn't particularly concerned about our experience. My husband contacted people above that and we are awaiting final responses. Hopefully, the pics that we took will help them understand our frustration. As a final note, we did not move any appliances. We thought by hiring professionals and paying the price, they would care enough to take care of our belongings.

They costed more than all the others, but maybe worth it. The owners provided the quote with full explanation of fees and expectations. The crew was prompt efficient and careful. The owners called to check in before, during, and after the move. I had an excellent experience and will use them again.

They worked hard and packed all of my belongings with care. I was blown away by the final invoice. I was charge $274 fuel surcharge when I didn't even use their truck. Then overcharged for labor hours. The estimate was nearly double what I expected.

I would give a zero if I could! Absolutely the worst movers I have ever hired, they broke my recliner. They also showed up without tools! How do you show up without any tools!? Do not use these movers under any circumstance! Zero customer service! Stay away from this service!

Very disappointed with their planning and organization. I made it clear that we had a very narrow window to complete the move in one day, a specific day. The night before they left a message that the crews would be late but arrive at 10am. Only by repeated calls did a short crew arrive at 1230p. They/we had to work late into the evening to complete the move. Damages/scrapes to walla. Labels on boxes completely ignored.

They work by the hour so it seemed they could have worked faster. But they did a good job.

Will never use them again

Kamil, Eddie and DJ were professional, polite. They were very helpful and engaging in the move. It was a tough move as I was moving into a small apartment upstairs and had more stuff than room.
