 + -1 moreRead bout, it did not go well. We are reporting this company now to BBB. CHOICE IS ALSO inattentive to needs. They are east coast based so we start calling at 8a cst to get them and all they say is they will call them to call us. Now after 5 days we are told they will try to arrange for another plumber. How long would you wait?
Description of Work: The Plumber was arranged through CHOICE HOME WARRANTY, which is not very responsive and contracts mostly inferior services. This plumber was called for a LEAKING TOILET. The toilet is leaking all over the bathroom floor! Several of us have slipped and fallen. The rugs/towels we put down to soak up the water leaking out, get saturated within an hour. Last week the "fix" didn't work-caulking or sealing around the basin of the commode. Over the weekend, we called Ajax and Choice (no help). To date, we have called over 6 times! Because we do not work at a job readily able to pick up our phone our message is clear: "THE TOILET IS STILL LEAKING, WORSE. PLEASE SCHEDULE A TIME ASAP AND RETURN TO FIX THE LEAK. I CANNOT ANSWER YOU CALL (this after 2 messages were left on my husband's voicemail). IF YOU NEED TO CALL, PLEASE DO SO AFTER 2:00 p.m. All they do is call and say call them back. WE CALL EVERY DAY 2, 3 times a day saying JUST COME TO THE HOUSE AND FIX THIS LEAK. It is ruining our floor. Horrible service.

 + -1 moreThey did a clean job. There were issues with both my gas water heaters. They had to replace both of the Pilot switch assemblies and gas regulators. They had to make multiple trips to get the replacement parts, but were determined to fix the heaters as earlier as possible. The technician was very patient in explaing what the issue was and gave information about the entire assembly, use, and tips to maintain and use the water heaters. Being a new home buyer, it was a great help for me. Their professionalism is commendable.
Description of Work: Fix both my gas water heaters.

Description of Work: Very extensive job to locate slab leak and repair. Involved jackhammering the kitchen floor but he used wet burlap to keep dust down then placed all the dirt he dug out in trash bags to keep mess contained.This guy worked his tail off all day without stopping. Began at 9am and finished just after 9pm. He was creative with his solution which saved time which saved me big bucks. He explained everything along the way and tested several times after the repair was complete just to be sure. He was so good with his jack hammer he only tore up four tiles. At the end of the night he charged me exactly what he said he would and I think he did a little extra. He's my plumber so I won't be searching for others to use.

 + -1 moreI called them through our home warranty service (American Home Warranty). They came in promptly and fixed the two bathrooms. However, one of bathrooms developed a leak again and they came back promptly to fix the leak. They were very professional friendly and got the work done promptly. I really liked Scott particularly who came in the second time. I have had them fix other things last year and had good experience then as well. I would use them through my warranty service or otherwise anytime.
Description of Work: Fix toilet leak in the 2 bathrooms. Checked water color in the master bath.

 + -1 moreTim Hill was the plumber that did the work. He called to let us know when he was coming and arrived on time. It took him appx 4.5 hours to remove the old faucets and install the new ones. One faucet had been leaking and was rusted, making it hard to remove. The work was done professionally and completed within the estimated time.
Description of Work: Replaced 4 bathroom wide spread faucets and drains and 1 kitchen faucet w/sprayer.

 + -1 moreI called Ajax Plumbing to replace a leaky cold water shut-off valve. The technician came within the agreed upon time, shut off the water, replaced the valve and tested it for leaks. The whole process took less than an hour.

 + -1 moreMy home warranty sent these people out. They repaired my leaky toilet without any trouble. The leaky faucets are a problem because they don't leak all the time, just a little; I have to keep a dish rag behind the faucet to soak up the water that weeps out slowly. They said they fixed it, but a week later I am still finding water there, so... I don't know.

 + -1 moreI felt very good about them. They were quick. They got everything done correctly. They were honest. I have not had any problems with anything so far. I feel confident with them. I would use them again in the future. I would recommend them to friends and family.
Description of Work: They replaced the pipe that connects the shower head to the wall. They also replaced the water spouts in the shower. They also sealed the spouts from water leaking. Some of the cost was covered through the warranty.

 + -1 moreAJAX was called by my home warranty company (Nations) since they said the leak would be covered by my home warranty. AJAX called me to schedule about six hours after contacted by Nations. Since it was Monday and Thursday was Thanksgiving, they could not come out until Monday. The plumber who arrived, Ben Simmons, was nice and professional. He examined the leak, promptly fixed it and drew up the papers. After giving him payment he examined my toilet tank handle (which was not working right since it was last fixed by a plumber). He adjusted the arm so it works great!. No charge! He was in and out in about 1/2 hour, polite and knew what he was doing. I am very pleased.
Description of Work: Fixed leaking shower head and replaced gasket in shower handle.
