The framing of our front door was done very poorly by the builder. It needed to be completely replaced because of gapping and it was crooked. The lock and deadbolt were so badly aligned and took so much force to open that my children couldn't open it in an emergency. We purchased a new mexican alder wood door and frame ourselves at Builder's Surplus. Agape stripped away the old frame and had to widen the frame we purchased because it wasn't deep enough. They did this by very cleverly and skillfully inserting wood in the middle of the frame so that the exterior would retain the beauty of the Mexican alder wood we picked. The door was stained and varnished. The threshold was redone with fresh concrete. Our hardware was installed on the new door and finally functions correctly. It looks fantastic! We plan on using Agape again for other remodeling jobs. Only thing to consider is that due to the fact that they are in such high demand, they have to schedule fairly far out. They were, however, totally up front with me on this from the first call, and we were willing to wait to have it done right - and they did. We also had to wait a bit for them to order a new threshold since ours was not a standard size. However, this wait was no longer than you would expect for a part order. Agape was worth the wait.

I selected Agape based on previous reviews posted on Angie's List. The entire project , from the initial review of my objectives, to the project's completion was well documented, on-time, on-budget, and well executed. My first contact with Agape was when Becky (co-owner) came to my house to review my project needs and was able to accurately document my remodeling objectives with a detailed written project proposal, cost estimate, and a clear delineation of my accountabilities and Agape's accountabilities. Becky,also, took the time to accompany me to all the required suppliers to assist in material selections and to make her recommendations. The project was started on time and completed on time with no deviation from the original estimated cost other than my requested changes. The Agape team is highly skilled and a pleasure to work with. Each team member takes pride in their work and makes sure you are completely satisfied with the work being performed each step of the way. Each day, the work schedule was accurately communicated with no gaps in work until the project was completed. At the end of each day, the work area cleaned and all tools and supplies put away. Home remodeling can be stressful and disruptive to your daily routine. Agape executed the project extremely well and made the project a pleasure to watch. I would readily use Agape again.

It was a negative experience. I tried to use them about 16 months ago. They did not charge me anything as they never did any work. They came to my house. We had a hour long conversation about the work to be done. It was the owner and his mother. This may have been part of the problem. They did do a small amount of work for me. They gave me a written bid and then they called me back and told me they are going to have to raise their written bit. After they reviewed it, they said they were not charging me enough money. I told them, they need to review their bid and get back to me and then, I never heard from them again. I did not have a good experience with them. I initially had a good experience with the mother. Then, she brought her son out to the house. He was the owner of the company. We had a four hour meeting with them. Then, the entire project fell apart. We decided on prices at the meeting. She called me back weeks later and said they decided that the prices were not high enough. He wanted to rework the bid. I told them to let me know and I never heard another word from them again. I thought it was unprofessional. When you give someone a written bid, that should be the bid.

We had a very positive experience with Agape Home Services and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do remodeling. We enjoyed working with Jerry, Sean, Becky and their entire crew. We have been very pleased with the quality work they performed on our house. From the beginning, when we were initially evaluating contractors, and throughout the process Jerry and his team would make recommendations or provide things for us to consider - we used every single recommendation. Their experience definitely made a difference. They also addressed and took care of things without being prompted and without charge: i.e. we mentioned replacing certain switches with dimmer switches or black switches to match the tile/back splash - Jerry and his team, purchased and installed these without charging or even being asked. There are three things of note: punctuality, communication and cleanliness: One of our other neighbors who had their house remodeled commented on the punctuality of the Agape crew. They were assembled in the front of the house without fail every day before 8:00 AM ready for work. The Agape team was very clear and consistent with their communication. They informed us at every step along the way and told us what was expected of us. There were no surprises. We knew what they needed, when they needed and what was happening every day. Lastly, they prepped the site well to minimize the dust & debris as well as the carpets from the foot traffic of the workers. They also addressed and corrected any nail poppers created during the demolition and installation processes (including repainting walls as necessary). They also cleaned up the house at the end - completely. We will definitely use them for our future projects we have planned.

We found both Becky and Jerry to be personable, professional and helpful. We chose a different contractor only because Agape suffered the loss of one of their project leads to a serious illness, and they are working overtime to keep up with their workload. Becky had great ideas for our kitchen, some of which are being incorporated in the project. She also introduced us to houzz.com, which has been extremely helpful in getting ideas, learning about various products and narrowing down choices for materials and colors. Jerry was very knowledgeable and helped inform us on flooring choices as well as explaining the cost of some items that have influenced our decisions on items for the project. We would definitely contact them again in the future for other projects.

We had a very positive experience with Agape. Becky and Jerry were very responsive to all requests/needs and their crew was professional and very easy to work with at all times. They were always on time and cleaned up everything each day before they left. I was informed if the water was turned off and then again when it was restored. It wasn't a chore having the guys in the house. Although we have had work done on our homes in the past, it was usually replacement work - flooring, kitchen counter tops, etc. I am a very visual person and have to see some items before I can "fix" it in my mind. An example of this was the new jetted tub that was going in - it was wider and very different from our old tub. Since I couldn't envision it, Jerry placed it into the bathroom long before needed just go I could get used to it. Sounds like a small thing, but it was a big help to me. Our contracted work timeline was a month - the majority of the work was completed in three weeks. We did some of the work in the Guest Bath to stay within our budget and Agape worked with us so that we could coordinate the work and not step over each other. They handled some difficult situations well - our shower tile was an unusual one but they were up to the challenge and it came out looking great. The gentlemen they used for both the custom cabinet work and the frameless shower were excellent and their work was very well-done. We are very pleased with how the bathrooms turned out and will definitely use Agape again for any future projects.

Generally it went extremely well. During the tub to shower conversion, a pipe started to leak and they come over immediately and fixed the problem. We weren't sure what we wanted to do to update the fireplace and Jerry made suggestions that looked great and were substantially less expensive than a fireplace store was quoting us. We have since moved into a new house and the Agape crew cut two new doorways into walls giving us a more open floor plan than before. The also removed a door and replaced the old door jam to get rid of the holes for hinges and latches. While moving, the movers disconnected the refrigerator and damaged the faucet that feed water to the ice maker. We didn't notice then damage for a full day and the sheetrock was quite wet. We needed it fixed fast and Agape was able to come right out and get started on the job. In the future, we plan to add a build in entertainment center and floor to ceiling bookshelves in the home we just bought and Agape is whom we will hire to do the job. When there was a need for a change or delay getting supplies, they told us immediately and helped handle the problem. Anyone can give good service when everything is going right, but Agape still gives you great customer service when there are the surprises that come with every remodeling job. I can't say enough good about them.

The Agape crew did a wonderful job. Jerry and Roger did an outstanding job on all of the work. They were punctual, tidy, accommodating and detailed. We are very thrilled with the results, the master bathroom is beautiful, and would not hesitate to retain their services for additional projects.

I contacted them two times and the second time got the following response: We appreciate you contacting us however at this time due to our heavy schedule we are unable to take on new projects. Since they did respond on the second email, I rated their response at least B. I would have liked if they could have at least said a time frame accepting new jobs.

Agape Homes Services completely gutted my kitchen and remodeled. The original estimated time for completion was three weeks but they were done in 12 days. A minimum of three workers showed up each day on time and cleaned up before leaving. Everyone was respectful, professional and courteous. They built all new custom made cabinets as well as a buffet and bar. They also put down new granite, back splash and under cabinet lighting. All of the crews really worked well together as a team making the job go smoothly. We did go slightly over the original budget but not by much. I highly recommend this company.

Agape Home Services were very excellent. They are very helpful. They like to have everything done to the customer’s liking. Their price is fair.

They met with us to gather our requirements, came back with their proposal, we accepted and they agreed to start after New Years. They showed up as planned and finished early. They staged the work so that we always had a bath to use even though it would have been easier for them to do all the baths at once. Jerry and team were great to work with. The communicated with us well and did everything we asked. Jerry's advice and suggestions were helpful and appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Agape to anyone.

The crew showed up on time every day, always kept the work areas clean, and cleaned up at the end of every day. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Agape and will use them in the future for other projects in our home. The project was finished on time (in fact, a few days early.)

Bid took a week to get and was over double everybody else. Did not use.

Overall, the experience went well! They were extremely friendly, professional, and covered the carpets to make sure no damage was done while they were doing the work. They showed up on time and did an excellent job!

The job went beautifully. Everyone always arrived just when they said they would. They would call me back to take a look every step of the way so that not only could I see the damage they found, they showed me what they were doing to repair the damage. It was very comforting to see that they were so knowledgeable and were taking great care with the project. And then when it came time to install the tile Vince was such a perfectionist. He does beautiful work. And Lonnie, who installed the glass door (a big job since the door was so big and heavy) did an outstanding job. Measuring for a door like I have is very time consuming as is the installation. The end result was a beautiful new shower. And I can rest easy because I know the termite problem has been taken care of. It was so nice to work with people who are knowledgeable and take pride in their work. I will definitely use Agape for all my upcoming home improvement projects.

The two things that most influenced my decision to work with Agape were: 1) Agape's excellent feedback on Angie's List; 2) Jerry's (the owner) "regular guy" appeal to the consumer. No sales pitch; all work is done by the company and not sub'd out. All companies say they value customer satisfaction, but Jerry sincerely conveyed to me that customer service is not simply a slogan but guiding principle of Agape. They delivered!!! His workers were polite, timely, and meticulous in the quality of their work; the finished product greatly exceeded my expectations. I own several rental properties across the country and regularly interact with contractors. I can honestly say that Agape is the best team I have ever worked with. Many thanks to Jerry for a fabulous job and work experience. You are my go-to guys from now on!

From the beginning of this remodel, we were impressed with the professionalism that Jerry and his crew showed. Jerry listen to what we wanted, made suggestions and followed through. They were flexible with the changes we made during the process and listen to our concerns about items. The crew cleaned up each night and try to make our lifes as easy as possible during the 3 week remodel. After the job was finished, they came back and cleaned the wood floors when we call about them. The crew had cleaned them the last thing of the job and it was dark outside. With the day light we found they were not as clean as they should be. They came out and spent 3 hours on hands and knees getting them clean. We will be remodeling our kitchen next year, and Agape is who we will call.

All work was performed in a very professional and proficient manner. Workmanship was exceptional and of the highest standard. The two tradesmen assigned to our job were very helpful and courteous. They worked independently as we were only there for one day of a 3 1/2 day job; we felt very comfortable with this arrangement. The workers showed great respect to our furnishings and floors while completing the job, covering ceramic tile and using great care when moving items of furniture. They also left their work area neat and tidy at the end of each day. One can usually judge a company by the quality of people they hire. From our experience Agape Home Services have done an excellent job in that area.

I contacted Agape for an estimate in early October and they called me back very quickly and made an appointment with me to come out the following week. One of the contractors was injured and they said they need to reschedule and I told them that would be fine. At our initial contact they told me they would not be able to put me on the schedule until November, which I told them would be fine. On our second call she informed me she would not be able to start until January because she had already signed on 2 more jobs, which I also agreed to reluctancy. She said she would get back to me to schedule the appointment ASAP. I still have not heard from this company. I am doing a $65,000 kitchen remodel and I was very interested in her company from the reviews. I felt like I was dismissed and she was too busy to deal with me. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

We are extremely please with the work that was done. Jerry was very thorough and helpful with recommendations on what we wanted to do. The project took about two weeks and it went very smoothly-like clock work. Each person knew exactly what needed to be done and in which order. Everyone of his employees were extremely friendly and courteous. Yes, we plan to use Agape again on another project after the first of the year.

Right from the start they performed above the competition. We are new to remodeling and needed assistance with how to take our ideas and make them a reality. Becky was tremendously helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable with what the scope of work was going to be and also with helping guide us through the process. Her expertise in the industry was second to none. We knew the basics of what we wanted and she took the time to shop granite and back splash samples with us. Once the construction began, it was exactly as advertised. The crew was fantastic. They were extremely professional, respectful and knowledgeable. The installation went very smooth. They did not rush through to get onto the next job, but rather consulted with us on the details to ensure our satisfaction. I would hire these people again. Nothing shows great customer satisfaction like repeat business.

Jerry, Becky, and the entire team did a wonderful job! All of the crew worked very hard (even with no A/C the first day!) and took great pride in their work. They were very pleasant, professional, and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. Jerry and Becky are very friendly, honest, and a joy to work with. This was our first time renovating and they really did a good job explaining the whole process and were very patient with us. Our home looks beautiful and we will be forever grateful for the quality work performed!

Service was wonderful. They took pride and ownership into their work. The were prunctual and professional and really cared about our needs.
