A#1 Movers did an outstanding job with my move. Their team of 3 were prompt, polite and moved quickly while being careful with my belongings. I recommend and would hire them again myself.

Perfect! 5 starts in all areas and cannot beat the price. I shopped around all the major companies around DFW and A#1 blew them all out of the water with pricing. They worked fast, efficiently and were very respectful! They had to get creative with maneuvering large furniture through a really narrow front door and I have to give them props because they did what was needed to make it work without complaint. They disassembled and reassembled my bed, and literally anything else I could think of to make my move easier they thought to offer and did. Very very satisfied. Thank you to Dee, Roger and Roy you guys were great.

This moving company was great. They showed up on time, wrapped all my belongings and took care of them. Would hire them again. Definitely recommend them!!

Awesome fast friendly and efficient

I entered a contract with ABC Movers Dallas for 4 movers and 1 truck/s, at $185/hour and a $100 deposit to move me from 4016 Catfish Creek, Prosper, TX 75078 to 2200 Dr. Sanders Road on 8/28/21. Before my move date, I received a call asking if I minded multiple trips. I specifically said I do not want multiple trips. On 8/28/21, 4 movers came with a surprisingly small truck and began moving at 9:22am. The truck did not have a lift in the back to assist with getting the refrigerator, heavy Kamado Joe Grill and my 75-inch Sony TV in the truck. Around lunch time they told me the truck was full and they needed to make an additional trip. Before delivering the first load to 2200 Dr. Sanders Road, the four-man crew stopped for lunch. They were gone for 1.5 hours. The 4th person never returned. My contract stated 4 men and a truck at $185/hour. They unloaded the first load and then two men returned to 4016 Catfish Creek, Prosper TX to finish loading the large items such as the heavy the Kamado Joe Grill, the 75-inch Sony TV, the refrigerator and a handful of other inventory items. The third man stayed at 2200 Dr. Sanders Road to begin assembling the beds. The 4th man never returned to the job. After a full inspection I realized: 1. I was missing a large decorative vase that went with two others (Exhibit A). I have a bad hip and was not able to go onto the truck and inspect it before they left to see what had been left there. 2. My Sony 75-inch TV was shattered (Exhibit B). The men did not wrap it, nor did they put the blankets on it when they loaded it. All they could say was “Ma’am we have another job to go to after this one”. 3. My Kamado Joe Grill was so damaged that I could not even open it (Exhibit C). 4. There were scratches and dents on my GE Profile Refrigerator (Exhibit D, E and F). 5. There were scratches on my dining room table (Exhibit G and H). 6. They did not take the legs off my desk when they moved it. My desk later collapsed, and I had to have it rebuilt. I disputed the moving charges paid through HSBC credit card company. A#1 Movers responded to the HSBC dispute by providing a Contract for Service document that I have never seen, nor did I sign. There were no documents signed by me prior the move beginning. My original contract was with ABC Movers Dallas. I found out A#1 Movers were involved when they provided a response to my HSBC Complaint and HSBC forwarded those documents to me. In addition, A#1 Movers denied any damages had occurred after I provided pictures of the damages to ABC Movers Dallas. The damages above are estimated to be around $4,500.

Went with these people because of a recommendation of a friend. I was quoted by Juan for about $350-400. Needed to move Furniture from a one bedroom apartment in Dallas, first floor, which was less than 900 sq feet. And we took about 8 large boxes to our new home ourselves prior to the movers coming.One stop in Rockwall to pick up a sofa and a small coffee table. Going to Plano. All communicated via email to Juan before the move. Received a call the day before the move to confirm information. Day of the move, movers call me and have no idea that they’re supposed to pick up in Rockwall and the actual furniture was in Dallas, and that they were then going to Plano. They also brought a tiny moving truck and were first telling me they would have to make two trips! Tell me why 9 and a half hours they’re still moving my stuff?!? Tell me why a move of that size cost me $900 and I had to literally tell these people to cut it off? When I asked for updates because I was concerned about how long this was taking, I didn’t get a response until a few hours later. The mover himself was asking for an additional $100. And then I’m getting attitude from one of the movers wanting a tip. I would love to tip under normal circumstances, but when I’m quoted $350 and getting charged $900, nah. I did get the movers lunch along with my husband and myself. Get the tip from your boss since he ripped me off. Slowest movers in DFW, complete rip off. I communicated to Juan how unhappy I was with this whole situation and he said he would speak to his manager and to have a good afternoon.

scheduled on a sat, they TEXTED the day before saying they were over booked after I confirmed they had availability. I asked how they were going to compensate my move since this messed up my schedule, and they threatened to cancel my move all together. I called the manager and they moved to the next day. Only giving me 10% my move. They were supposed to be there between 9-10am but didn't arrive until almost 1030am. I requested 3 movers, and only 2 showed. The office said well a lot of people take Sunday off.. like that is my problem. The guys moving were fantastic, but I know I ended up paying more because it takes 2 guys longer than 3... The office is very unprofessional, does not know how to schedule and staff accordingly and is great about making the customer feel like, well it is what it is, too bad and just be glad you got moved today... I wouldn't use them if they were the last movers left in the city.

Awesome. Juan and Christian were great. Very hard working and professional. Gave me reasonable price. Moving went very smooth with them and they were quick to load and unload the boxes. They even offer you have free wardrobe moving boxes. Will definitely hire them again.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I made a reservation which I got charged a deposit and sent a confirmation for but for some reason my movers NEVER SHOWED UP. When I called the company to inquire about it the representative that I spoke to, named Andy, told me that they “forgot” to add my name to their list and that all they can do is schedule my move for another day. When I informed him that this was the only day I could move and that wasn’t going to work for me he told me that all they can do is refund me if I don’t want to reschedule which is completely unfair to me and left me without any answers. They also won’t refund my deposit unless they mail it by check which is also UNFAIR considering I paid online with my credit card! This company is very unprofessional and I do not advise using them unless you want to be disappointed.

Initial communication before arrival was a little spotty, hard to tell when they were going to arrive, but but once we started, everything went great.

I hired A#1 to move my one bedroom apartment and garage storage from downtown Dallas to a north Dallas home. I spoke with the company and explained that my building had a complicated elevator situation (two rides to the dock) and that I had a lot of bulky furniture. They explained that they were familiar with my building and that it shouldn't be a problem. The move started out on time (10:00 AM) and the crew was professional. Early into the move I could tell that they were extremely disorganized. I was helping the crew of three move furniture throughout the building and on several occasions was stuck waiting for one crew member at the elevators for extended periods of time (I spent 40 minutes in the garage with two of the three workers waiting for the third who had the elevator fob). Halfway through the move the foreman determined that they hadn't packed correctly and wouldn't be able to fit all of my furniture unless the "restacked" the boxes. This essentially meant crawling around on my furniture in the truck and shoving things into any place that they would fit. We continued working until 4:15 when they told me that they had everything on the dock and I could head to the house to start preparing for them to unload. During this six-hour work window, we saw two movers arrive and unload their loads. we still hadn't completed my load. At 4:30 I received a call from the foreman stating that everything wouldn't fit on the truck and that they'd like to leave my belongings on the secure underground dock over the weekend and would complete the job on Monday. This obviously wasn't an option that I was willing to except so I turned around to head back to the building. The dock was closing at 5:00 but they gave us enough time to move my remaining furniture back upstairs to my garage. I contacted the owner of the company, Juan, and explained the situation. He was extremely apologetic and told me that he'd do his best to make everything right which included him personally finishing my move on the following Tuesday. I was upset but he was professional and seemed to take the matter very seriously. We then arrived at my house around 6:40 because we were stuck in five o'clock traffic after it took them seven hours to load most of my furniture. Please note that the three-man crew arguing about everything throughout this process. When they started to unload my furniture, we noticed that several items for damaged. Here is a list of damaged items: desk, dresser, nightstand, two broken lamps, a scratched LCD TV screen, broken frame to the kitchen table, chipped glass on the table, broken speaker stand, smashed boxes, broken glassware, etc. I sent pics to Juan of all of these items and he was extremely apologetic (see text screenshots). Once we unpacked we realized that we were missing at least two boxes. One with my pants and underwear and another with our cooking utensils and pot lids. I spoke to him and he agreed to complete my move and told me that he'd personally have my Cantoni kitchen table repaired. Additionally, he offered a discount of three hours off. I thought about not paying them and in hindsight wish I hadn't. I paid his company $680 for a miserable experience and lots of damage to my personal property. After he completed my move we set a day for him to repair my table. He said "it will only take five minutes and is the least I can do [see screen shots]). I checked in with Juan three days prior to our scheduled repair date and the day prior and his response was that he was very busy but he'd be at my home at 1:30. I confirmed again with him on the scheduled day at 10:38 and he once again said that he'd be here. At 2:00 I started to text him and wasn't getting a response. At 3:00 I called but was forwarded to his voicemail. His cell phone now has me blocked and his company will not take my calls. His company did the following: * Charged me $680 to not complete my move in 10 hours * Damaged several pieces of my furniture * Broke items rendering them useless * Lost items * Caused an unneeded amount of stress in our lives * Owner failed to honor his word and fix his companies wrong doings * Is ignoring a paid customer and won't allow me to file a claim (owner blocked my calls) As you can see from our text images, we were very polite to one another but he simply quit responding and did not honor his word.

I was moving the contents of my house into a storage unit for long term storage. They did an excellent job of wrapping the furniture for long-term protection. And they got everything into a smaller than expected unit with room to spare. They were awesome!

Went great, the guys called before they arrived, they worked quickly and efficiently to load up all our stuff. When they realized we had more stuff than the truck could hold, they got a 2nd truck at no extra charge and the boss came over to help load things in. Unloading went smooth, they put everything back together and helped get our rug centered in the living room. It was a grueling 8 hour day but the guys were in good spirits, joked with us, and were eager to help with what we needed. I'm very glad we used their services.

It went very well. They called us when they were on their way, arrived on time, and were very courteous with us and with each other. Only mishaps were a broken lamp shade and that the sofa cushions were not protected like the rest of the furniture, therefore they arrived dirty.

My mother referred me to Juan at A1 movers and I called him and he helped me plan my move. Today, the DAY before Thanksgiving- his crew was right on time and promptly moved me into my new apartment on the 4th floor with no incident!! Juan and D were extremely professional and respectful. Nothing was damaged and next time I move I will be using them again!! Thank you, Anthony

The two guys they sent were very professional, on-time. They wrapped the furniture, took good care of everything. The truck was not big enough for everything in one trip, so they didn't charge drive time for second trip. (was only 10min trip anyway). Overall pretty good move.

I would recommend this company to other members looking for a good mover. They were professional, accommodating on my schedule, quick, and super nice guys.

I own a company myself and have worked with several companies in the past. Never have I experienced this amount of unprofessional behavior! I do not encourage working with this company. They took care of my furniture by wrapping and making sure they were properly secure in the truck. Stop going with big name companies, all they do is overcharged, this guys give you a straight up rate. No one comes close to their prices. I highly recommend A#1 Movers.

I couldn't be more pleased with this moving service! I booked them online a couple months ago for a move this week. The morning before the move it occurred to me that I should probably call them to verify things. Before I could even look up their number, they called me! I was impressed at how on top of things they were, and the gentleman who called me was very pleasant and professional. The day of the move, they called ahead to let me know when they were arriving. They came exactly during the time window I had booked. The gentleman were very nice. They moved fast, but took extra care with our furnishings. They wrapped our wood furniture in cling wrap to protect it and to keep the drawers from falling out. (Who knew you could move without having to empty all the drawers?!) They finished within the time window we had contracted. I felt comfortable with them every step of the way and enjoyed working with them. Excellent service! Highly recommended!

First off I have to say these are by far the nicest people I have done business with in a long time. We hired them last minute like literally that morning and they drove way out of there way to help us move 1 item. We were turned down by other moving companies but these guys came and helped me. Not only did they move our fridge to another location, they moved the other one to the garage which was not part of the deal but they did it anyways with a positive attitude and a smile on their face. They even found a problem with our fridge that we were unaware of and came up with a solution to fix it. These guys were so friendly and professional, they absolutely exceeded my expectations and I'm thankful I came across these movers to help us. Hands down best moving experience ever. We will absolutely use them again.
