Grizzle Heating & Air

A month or so ago, I called Grizzle heating and air to fix a floor furnace that I have in my house. That day they were scheduled to come they showed up much later than scheduled but apologized, reporting it was due to previous jobs taking longer than expected. They also gave me a discount on my services. They were able rewire my furnace and get it working. A couple days later, my furnace seemed to not be working anymore and they came over again free of charge and looked at it and got it working again. On another occasion about a month ago, I received a quote from Grizzle for a new central heat and air unit. One of their employees came out right on time and was very courteous. I had received about three quotes before I contacted them, and I have to say that they spent the most time at my house looking at every aspect to ensure they were giving me the correct price. Their quote was similar to other companies but I felt that it was the most accurate due to the time they spent looking at everything. I eventually decided that I wasn't going to put a unit in, but if I would have I would have definitely gone with them.

The service has been great and the staffs have been great. They are very prompt. They are very good. I would use them again in the future in a heartbeat.

They showed up on time, worked until he finished the job and explained everything he did.

He just checked vents, air ducts, clean conditioning system, etc, replace 20 x 30 filter

Grizzle installed a new Bryant Heat Pump in May of 2013 they completely gutted my old system and install the system and all new duct work, the work was completed in a timely manner and they were very professional. In August my compressor went out and I called Grizzle back out, they stood behind the compressor and ordered a new one for my unit, they brought out a room A/C for us to use until the new parts came in. They were prompt to install the new compressor when it arrived and have been back out once since that day to adjust and add additional refrigerant to the system. I would recommend Grizzle and will continue to use them in the future.

They came in and performed their jobs. They covered their shoes up, put mats on the floor as it had been snowing that week. They cleaned up after themselves and left me heaters to keep warm.

They evaluated my existing system. Explained the situation in easy to understand terms, provided an on-site quote and scheduled the hurry up install. Ordered a replacement. Removed the old system (without any mess) and unnecessary ancillary equipment. Installed a new heater and the connection units to the vent system. Installed 2 new thermostats. Hard wired the electricity to the new unit. Arranged for the city to inspect the new unit. Followed up a few days after to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Every appointment was scheduled and the employees arrived on time. They never left a mess (wore protection over their boots and laid down plastic walkways on the carpet). I'm getting ready to sell my house so the thought of having to get a new heater wasn't something I was looking forward to. Working with this company was great. I wouldn't change a thing. I'll use them again in my next home and recommend them to friends and family. It went great. Wouldn't change a thing. I was pretty nervous about the cost and dealing with something I knew nothing about...a heating (this portion of the questionnaire messed up...numerous times, FYI)

In November 2011 our old furnace malfunctioned and we had Grizzle replace it and the old duct work. They were prompt and on time but the work was shoddy. One worker strpped through a bed room ceiling and they totally destroyed the furnace door. Complaints were made and the Contractor sent repairmen to repair the damage . On the first morning after installation it was apparent someting was wrong with the furnace air output or with the return. The contractor was called and he came but didn't do anything to correct the problem. At this time I called the manufacturer of the Furnace and they sent out three reps. to check the furnace. The next day Grizzle replaced the new furnace with a larger unit and made adjustments to dmapersand change the bath room air from a large duct to a Y duct feeding both baths.. The problem still lingered. Another complaint was made and Paul came out and installed two larger ducts to the den. This helped the den area but the rest of the house remained with air atratification. At a later date another duct was replaced with no appreciable improvement. In December 2011 I called Amarillo Heating and Air and they sent two men to inspect the problem. These men were knowledgeable and thorough and found problems with the return system not being properly sealed and iwth air ducts crimped without proper boots leading into the air vents. I accepted the bid and two men came to do the work. They were efficient and thorough. They replaced one duct and replaced several boots, shortened the existing ducts to eliminate coiling and crimping and in the process called my attention to an extra duct attached t the plenum that went nowhere. It was a 7" duct that went toward the middle bath but the end of it wasturned down toward the insulation and all it did was blow hot air into the attic. My deduction was that this was the original duct that went to the middle bath. The return area was properly sealed to prevent air leaks and was selaed properly. Corrections were made and now for the first time in 4 years I have a warm house.. I then called Paul Grizzle to advise him of our findings with the extra duct to nowhere and he wanted to know why I called someone other thna him. He just would't accept the fact that his crew made this error on the duct although his crew was the only crew to ever replace ducts in this attic. I requested that he come ansd see it and while here to inspect the furnace for its annual check and he replied yeah Ok I'll put that in my pocket and come by - and he never did. I consider this an expensive lesson well learned.
