His recommended subcontractor ordered a door at a fair price asap, and is on the property right now, installing it.
Description of Work: The builder listened to my concerns about a garage door at my home. He is not the original builder (who didn't respond in anything like a timely manner), but offered to come over immediately and assess the problem. He came immediately, told me not to spend any money with him, but to get the garage door replaced asap, using a recommended subcontractor. I checked him out later, and discovered that he's one of the most highly regarded builders in the Texas Hill Country. I didn't hear a thing about this from him. Quiet, generous, competent, community-minded. I'll go to him any time I need real home expansion or renovation needs.
