Chambers & Phillips Water Well

I obtained 4 estimates before selecting Chambers & Phillips, a 3rd generation well drilling company out of Canton. They provided 4 different options when they submitted the estimate which I appreciated because I knew what the options would cost up front. Brian Butcher (who is a 3rd generation partner) came to the site ahead of time, thoroughly explained everything, and obtained the permits. The drilling date was scheduled and 2 weeks before they were due to start he called and had a cancelation and moved the drill date up which was great for us. They arrived as promised and began promptly setting up and drilling. They drill deeper than most of the other well companies to ensure better quality water. Brian himself oversaw the entire job and explained things as they spent 2 days drilling and setting pipe. After purging the line completely they built a concrete pad and set the compression tank. Before leaving they completely cleaned the site up and took every bit of trash they had made. Other than a compression tank sitting there you would have never known they had been there. They followed up by mailing me the manuals and paperwork for all of the components of our new system. From the people on the phone to all of the guys who worked on our well everyone was polite and friendly.

I woke up that morning and surprise surprise I had no water because my well wasn't pumping. I did all the usual checks (was it plugged in, had the breaker flipped, etc.) and couldn't troubleshoot it so I called Chambers and Phillips. A man came to my house within the hour. He inspected the pump thoroughly and figured out that a toggle switch and been flipped thus disrupting electricity to the pump itself. I was a tad bit embarrassed but he was very nice about the whole thing and didn't even charge me for coming out! He said he couldn't charge me when he hadn't done any work. In the future if I do have an actual problem with my well Chambers and Phillips will be the first place I call.
