O'grady Plumbing Co

Our Technician showed up only an hour after my initial call on SUNDAY MORNING. I was sure I would have a hard time finding a plumber to respond on Sunday so quickly, but not with O'Grady!!! Very professional, our technician went above just unclogging our line but also cleaned up and hauled off the mess. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

It went pretty good for about 80% of it. The guy that showed up was friendly and knowledgeable. He spent about 30 minutes crawling around under the house to give me an estimate. They showed up, but didn't do the job the way they said they were going to do it. What they said they would do was fix the beam to the house underneath so that it would keep the pipes from freezing, they did that at the crawlspace door but further back in the crawlspace they left the rest laying on the ground. They said they would fix the sewage leak that he came across at the same time, when he sent me the estimate they agreed they would fix it, but when they were done they charged me extra for it. They sent workers back out to fix it, so they did get it done. When the owner came out I asked what they would do with the old lines, he said they would hang them up so that they wouldn't have to crawl over them. He installed the new ones and left the old pipes on the ground, I'm assuming when they came back out they fixed that - but I'm going to have to go down and check. If I hadn't have checked after the work, I wouldn't have known any of this.

We had a very strong smell of sewage in the house and did not know where it was coming from. We have american home shield and they could not get anyone out in a reasonable amount of time so they allowed me to find my own plumber. I found O'Grady's on Angies list and contacted them. They scheduled the appointment for the next day. They gave us a window when they would arrive. The day of the service call they did call us to let us know they were running late but still made it within an hour of the original time frame. The two techs that arrived where very polite, knowlegdable and professional. They did a test that detected the sewage leak coming from our washing maching pee trap and checked the rest of the house to insure there were no other leaks. They corrected the problem and worked with American Home Sheild to insure we would get reimbursed. THEY WERE AWESOME!!! I would recommend them to anyone needing a good and honest company for their plumbing needs.

I discovered there was water leaking into the house while I was doing laundry. My husband tried to snake the main sewer line after he checked everything else. The snake was hitting a blockage. We called O'grady Plumbing and the tech showed up less than an hour later. He unclogged the line and made recommendations for next steps to keep the line clear. He was very professional and honest. I would definitely recommend this company to others, and will use them again myself should the need arise.

The technician who came out was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing. He offered a lot of great information. I did not like their billing system and how they break down what they charge for. He did great quality work however.

Chaz and Randy (and Micah) were great! I called on a Monday regarding an underground water leak (had high water bill) Chaz was out at 8:15 the next day. Found and corrected first leak very quickly. Unfortunately when he turned the water back on my meter was still spinning which meant a second leak. Equipment needed to locate was a 2 person job so he called Randy and he was out within the hour. Found it, but since it was under slab, had to schedule a different crew (with different equipment)on another day. They showed up on following Monday with Chaz. Anticipated a 2 day job, but leak turned out to be in a better location (for a leak that is) finished in 1/2 a day. These gentleman are very professional. As a single female homeowner I am always a little leery about service people when I don't know the company, but they were referred to me by a friend and the wariness went away the minute I met them. Do not hesitate to call them for any and all plumbing needs.

I called O'Grady Plumbing Co. at 6:51 A.M. on Monday morning. There were three things that needed to be taken care of, leak under kitchen sink, slow drain in second bathroom, and no hot water in master bathtub. I was given the hourly rates and told the cost included travel time. I told the lady I had a 10% off coupon from Angie's List and she responded, "Good, be sure to print it out." The very nice and helpful lady asked where we lived and asked when I wanted someone to come to our home. I asked when someone could come and she asked how first thing this morning would be for us. I told her that would be awesome and she said someone could be here between 8:00 and 8:30 A.M. and travel time would be approximately 15 minutes. At 8:15 A.M., our doorbell rang and a very pleasant and courteous young man (Mike or Mica, not sure of name) appeared at our door to repair our plumbing needs. Mica went right to work and repaired the leak under the kitchen sink and then asked where we were not getting hot water. A part needed to be replaced and Mica told us he did not carry the part on his truck and he needed to go get the part and he would return as soon as possible. Mica told us he left his tools in the bathroom and asked if that was okay. When he returned, the defective part was very difficult to remove and he worked until it was fixed. It was necessary to turn off the water supply for a while and Mica asked if that was okay. While Mica was working on the part, another very nice gentleman came to see Mica and was only here a few minutes. Mica then opened the drain in the guest bathroom and explained that hair sometimes gets caught in the drain. We remembered the guest bathroom toilet sometimes runs and runs and Mica never hesitated, he went to look at the problem. Mica told us he needed to replace the "guts" of the toilet. We gave him the okay and he repaired it. While Mica was here, he asked questions, listened attentively, and gave us explanations of the repairs. When Mica completed the work, he prepared an invoice, took off the discount and then gave us an additional "senior citizen" discount. We were extremely pleased with the prompt response, the repairman was so nice and knowledgeable and he was very thorough. This was our first experience using Angie's List and we could not have been more pleased! I was given all the information on the reviews that I needed to make an informed choice of whom to call. We definately made the right choice! Thank you so much.

We called on a Saturday evening for a leak under our guest bathroom sink. Vicki was very responsive, and we were thankful to have Micah arrive that evening. Micah fixed the leak very efficiently, and was polite and professional as well. Micah looked at a couple of other issues while he was here, and made some recommendations. We had family staying with us, and will have the work completed after Thanksgiving. We were very pleased with the responsiveness and expertise. Will call O'Grady for our additional needs.

The plumbers arrived at the designated time and completed the job in a timely manner. I was extremely please with the end product. It could have been a real mess with all of the adjustments that were required but I feel that it was a job well done. I would highly recommend them.

O'Grady's plumbing was prompt and professional. It was a Saturday morning nightmare to wake up to a huge leak from the 2nd floor to the 1st but they showed up prompted and stopped the leak. The plumber gave us a quote and on Wednesday, when he came to complete the job, he did not go over the quote. Very nice guy and I would totally recommend this company along with this plumber!

Jon could not have been nicer. I sprung a couple of extra jobs on him, and he was very accommodating. I wanted to get my money's worth! None of the plumbing issues were serious (except the kaput disposal), just little things that drive you nuts. Thank you - I have finally found a reliable plumbing company. I figured with an "A" rating on Angie's List (with several hundred reviews) I couldn't go wrong. And that turned out to be the case.

Excellent service from Mr. Ellis at O'Grady Plumbing. He was very professional and neat. He is very knowledgeable and explained options for fixing the toilet.

The morning of the appointment I received a call from the company that Jon was on his way and would be at my house a little earlier then scheduled if I was available. He was very professional and took the time to explain to me what he was doing. He installed a pressure reducing valve in between the city meter and the joint for the sprinkler system and water that goes to the house. He was able to combine the box for the prv & the joint to the sprinkler system/water to house. He also showed me a leak that would be fixed when he installed the prv. The sod around the box was replaced and there was actually some leftover. I told him I could use it in the back yard and he asked me if I had a wheelbarrow and took it to the back for me. He cleaned up the area and took the excess dirt with him. Out of the three estimates I received, O'Grady's was the least expensive. They did a great job and I will definitely use them in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

It was Saturday afternoon, I jumped into the shower to get ready for the evening. Church at 5:00 and then onto a concert in Dallas. The water in my shower started to back up and I could hear weird gurgling noise coming from the toilet area. I got my towel, jumped out to go look into the toilet and sure enough it was making weird noise and bubbling up. Finished my shower quickly before it started spilling over onto my bathroom floor. I called the plumber who had installed our plumbing (our home is 3 1/2 years old). He recommended another plumber, as he was "fishing". I called that company, they couldn't come out until later in the evening at a huge price point. So, I went to Angies's List and found O'gradys Plumbing, who had great reviews. The lady who answered was so nice, she said she would have someone call me right back. I received a call from one of their plumbers and he could be at my home in about an hour and a half. He arrived about 15 minutes early, which I loved. He said our plumbing was backed up under the house. He did all the work from outside and was done within an hour. I was so happy with the service from O'gradys and with the price I paid. It was after hours which is always more expensive to have work done. They are my new plumbers from now on!

Jon Ellis of O'Grady Plumbing did a great job. They were responsive to our call and came out promptly as scheduled. We found them to be efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

The service was performed two days after appt. was made. The service representatives showed up early and did the job in a very epediant and efficient manner.

It was the first time I had used them. They were nice, but the price they quoted me was a lot higher than others.

Everything went great. I called them to setup an appointment, but when I called they were away from the office and said they would confirm the appointment time the next morning. As promised I received a call confirming the time. The plumber showed up exactly on time and went to work. We originally thought that the flange needed to be replaced, but the plumber was able to fix the problem without replacing the entire flange, saving us a bit of money. He did a great job and I will definitely be using them again.

O'Grady did an excellent job. Most of the costs were for labor, which is why I usually try to tackle these jobs myself.I would recommend O"Grady and would use them again on things I couldn't handle.

I was told by Vickie that the Plumber would arrive between 8:00 to 8:15 am but he was delayed I found a message on my answering machine where Vickie called explaining that he was picking up some needed parts and would be delayed. When John arrived, I found him to be professional as well very knowledgeable about his job. He did not mind me looking over his shoulder, asking questions about what he was doing etc. He located and fixed a leak at the shut off valve for the water line that goes into the house, which I didn't even know about. He did not find any slab leaks at this time. I would recommend this company to anyone and would not hesitate to recommend that you request John to handle your repairs.

They were professional, thorough and inexpensive. They provided a good quality of work.

I heard about them from my warranty company. They were wonderful. They did an excellent job. It them an hour and half to do the job because they had to cut the pipe, weld it and only then did he install the gas fireplace. They did a great job.

They were responsive and punctual in getting back to us with the quote and just coming out and looking. They were excellent. We have had a problem getting a water sample and stuff done, but that is not their problem. It is the fault of the lab. They were apologetic. It should have been back in 2 weeks. It has been almost 5 to 6 weeks now, but it is not their fault.

I give them high ratings and would use them again in the future if needed.
