After purchasing the dishwasher from Lowes, they called 3 days later to schedule installation. They told me that they wanted to install on Monday morning with a time window between 8 and noon. I told them I had to work, but was reassured that it would be ok because "they start at 8 am and I was first on the list to be installed". They said nothing more. To me that implies that they would be there at 8 am since they start at 8 am and I'm their first installation. After waiting 20 minutes I called them only to be told that they guys just left their shop which is miles away and they were on their way to Lowes to pick up the dishwasher and they would be over after that. By my calculation of time and distance, that would have been near 10 am if even then. That was totally unacceptable and I told them I had to leave and to cancel the installation. I realize that to companies like this your time has no value and theirs is the only time that is worth anything. I called Lowes to report the issue and to request a different installation company.

They were dispatched by Fidelity Home Warranty. It took them about 60 hours to come after being called -- and only after I called numerous times and left several voice mails. Once they came out, they said they would have to get approval to do the worth and several days later they haven't even sent in a work order to the warranty company. Will NEVER use them again. I will be contacting our bank to get our $65 trip fee reimbursed.

Jonco Plumbing was scheduled to be here at 10 today. The plumber arrived at 9:15 a.m. so that he could look at the job. We discussed what I wanted done - get rid of the cut-off valves and all of the rusting parts. The cut-off valves were almost impossible to turn off and on. The rusty parts didn't look good either. He left to buy what he needed and was back before 10 a.m. Then he set to work. The plumbing is now sparkly with valves I can easily turn off if need be. The price seemed very reasonable to me, too. I believe I have finally found a plumbing company I can trust.

My natural gas water heater was four years out of warranty and had been making horrible noises for the last year if not longer. Lowe's on Bryant Irvin had an incredible buy on water heaters, especially since I have an account with them. The total cost was less than $700 installed. Jonco Plumbing did the installation and I was mightily impressed with the promptness and quality of the work. I needed new supply lines, too, where the plumbing enters and exits the heater to the house. The proper permit was pulled by Jonco, too, because the city inspector showed up to examine the installation and then hand me the green tag. I plan to contact Jonco for another plumbing job before the summer ends.

I am very pleased with the service I received. I would use them again.
