 + -1 morethe first day he came worked for maybe an hour said he didnt have the material to do anything. changed his bid summary half way through the job. didnt do the ceiling finishing the way i requested it. didnt do the ceiling replacemnt i asked for instead did patch work. we discussed the arch way into my kitchen to be done as part of this bid he said he was finished requested the check while standing in my arch way that was bare wooden studs.

 + -1 moreTravis was responsive to my initial call and scheduled an estimate within a couple of days. He was punctual and followed through with everything he said during our initial visit. His assistant, Randy, did the actual work. The project ended up taking three days, but Randy always left the project area very clean and tidy. The work was very nicely done and one would ever know that there had been damage to the ceiling or walls. Randy was a very hard working and trust worthy guy, so much so that I had to leave him alone in my home and felt oddly okay with making that decision. I would without a doubt use these guys again should I have any further needs.

 + -1 moreEverything went pretty well. They did a good job on the drywall. The guy that stood out was good, he knew what he was doing. There was a little bit of miscommunication between he and I. I won't say it was entirely his fault, but it was something that we had discussed that came up later on. It was kind of a miscommunication between us.

 + -1 moreVery well, considering this was Randy's first time to install a Versalift and it's somewhat complicated, involving cutting a hole in the ceiling, framing the opening, and assembling and installing the lift itself. It took two days instead of one, but he did a very neat and professional job. He showed up on time, took no breaks, and left the attic and garage both neat and tidy. My husband is a stickler for details, and he was extremely happy with the end result.

He works quickly but efficiently and his rate is reasonable. Even though his business is in Burleson he works throughout the Tarrant County/Dfw Metroplex area. He was highly recommended to us by a business through John with Corrective Masonry out of Fort Worth, Texas. Our home is a large investment and it is important to us to find someone to completely trust to do the job well and correctly. We feel we have found a business to do just that and we will be calling Travis Goff to complete other jobs needed later this year for sure. We plan to recommend him to family, friends and neighbors due to the excellent quality and the wide range of work his business offers.
Description of Work: Due to foundation and water damage, bed and tape sheet rock in garage, sealed around flashing and chimney cap, sealed window and wood trim, and repaired popcorn ceiling in den.

 + -1 moreTravis arrived promptly at our scheduled time and was able to immediately determine that he could repair the sheet rock in 2 hours. He was friendly, professional, and very open to me watching him work and walking me through his process. This was important to me because when contractors are doing work on my house, I like to see how they work and do the repair to see if there is anything I can learn -- just for my own curiosity. We had a conversation the time he was performing the repair which made the process less intrusive to a home owners day as well. As far as the repair went, he made sure the area he was doing the repair was covered to limit the amount of clean up needed. He was efficient in use of his time and used supplies that dried fast to ensure the job could be done as fast as possible. By the time everything was finished, I could not even see where the repair job had been done even with the texture. It's been about a week since the job was done and I still can't tell that the ceiling was repaired. All in all, extremely pleased with Travis' work and would definitely hire and recommend again.
Description of Work: Needed to have a ceiling repair done where sheet rock tape broke between two sheets of sheet rock and was sagging. Travis came out and repaired it.

Description of Work: We had some very large and heavy pictures that needed to be hung on our very high wall (22 feet). Special attention was need to be sure that they were anchored properly and were symmetrical with the rest of the room. Very difficult task when up on a high ladder.

Description of Work: Repair a whole in the drywall. Repair damage to a deck and fix a broken bench on the deck. Replace 3 pieces of wood on the eaves. Replace all of the vents around the house. Prep the walls in a wallpapered room for painting and texture the walls and prime to prepare for painting. Unable to place the doggie door or replace the lock on the back door because of a metal strip around the door.

Then we had Travus Goff of Interior Cosmetics come out and treat the mold and fix the ceiling in the small bathroom that was damaged. We were surprised and happy that he came out and did it within 3-4 hrs. Very good job. I would recommend him to anyone. By the way, John Rowland of Corrective Masonry, who replaced our bricks on our home recommeded him. It is word my mouth - if the person or company is good, it will get around. Billye O'Connor
Description of Work: We had a leak from an up stair bathroom. It damaged the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. After the plumbing company came out to fix the problem, we had a hole in the little bathroom under the bathroom that leaked.

 + -1 moreTravis enclosed each area while working with plastic and tape in order to keep the area tidy. but he didn't keep it tidy im afraid he made a mess, He was friendly and had a ok attitude. look up at the what did the provider do there is more detail there. after thinking it threw i had a change of heart. this is what really happened.
Description of Work: He did some ceiling repair in my kitchen, dining and living rooms.small areas about 2 in the living room re-taped and spraying it about 4 to 5 ft on one and about 3 to 4 ft on the other, dinning room there was one about 3 ft. just spraying the popcorn acoustic. in the kitchen there was 1 area, all he did was spray it. he said it would take him 2 hours he was here for about 3.5 hours, he gave me no receipt for the payment.he sweep up the area, and asked for a towel and cleaning spray and he wiped it down my laminated flooring, the next day my flooring looked all chalky i had to re-clean the floors in my kitchen dinning and living room. he said it should dry and mix really well, i could see lines where the plastic bags he hung up to not get it all over showed the lines of where he stopped and started. he thrown the left over on my grass, i pay to have my grass maintained! i didn't appreciate him doing that without even asking!, he threw the acoustic liquid on my cement driveway i had to clean that up. to be honest i feel he was in a hurry he was going on vacation the next day and wanted some extra money!!!

 + 0 moreWe are a military family that moved away from Texas, and Travis was super accommodating with our hectic schedule. He was able to come out and assess our job within a very short notice. He's super flexible with his evenings, which helped us out quite a bit. We had to leave for a family function while he was still working, and Travis closed our garage door for us when he left, securing our possessions. He's definitely someone you can trust. He even taught me how to prep the ceiling for repairs and walked me through what he was doing. We weren't able to see the work for ourselves since we moved out of Texas on such a short notice, but my parents did say that it looks great. I would highly recommend Travis to anyone.
Description of Work: Travis repaired drywall cracks in the ceiling (average 2-3 feet long each) in the kitchen (x1), master bedroom (x1), and living room, (x3). He also repainted the walls in the master hallway and kitchen and painted the ceiling in the living room, kitchen, master hallway, and master bedroom.

 + 0 moreWe had a contractor start the job, but wasn't able to finish it. He was a gentleman from the get-go. He charged me so little that I was ashamed. He did a wonderful job. He cleaned up and was here two different times. He was on time and did everything he said he was going to do, plus some! I couldn't have asked for anybody to do any better. It looks better than it did when it was brand new.
Description of Work: I have a cathedral ceiling with two skylights. One of the skylights was leaking and had gotten in the welds of the skylights and made a real mess of the ceiling. I hired them to refinish, paint and put new skylight in.
