The company was doing an extension to the sprinkler system of a neighbors, so I walked over and asked the company owner for an estimate since I did not have any system and was getting tired of my neighbors yard being nice and green while mine was getting more brown each week because I have to drag hoses around all morning and then the evening to water it all, and I know the water amounts haven't been very uniform. When he gave me the estimate, and explained what would be done and how many zones and what they would cover etc, I saw the amount and I really thought he was joking because it was over $1500 less than two estimates I had gotten the previous year which was why I didn't get it done. So needless to say, I asked when can you start. It was about 2 weeks before he could get to me which was fine, and it was all done in 3 days, and it all works like a champ. No more dragging hoses. OK, I still do it in the back yard, but since no one sees the back, I'm not as concerned. His price was very fair, he seems genuinely concerned that everything worked as he came back on a saturday to make sure I understood the controller. When the tie-in to my water line broke a few days after install, it again was on a weekend, but he sent his people out that evening and they dug it all up, and replaced all the fittings and hung around to make sure it all worked, and no leaks before they filled in the hole. Owner Tim came by and also checked there work on the repair, and gave me a drawing of the sprinkler head setup and valve locations etc. I am more than pleased with the outcome.
