About us

Atlas Foundation Co, Inc has been family owned and operated, servicing the DFW area since 1958. Atlas owners, Darrel and Lonnie Ford came to work for their father, Glenn Ford, in 1980 after their granddad retired. With over 75 years of combined experience, Darrel and Lonnie, are involved with every aspect of Atlas Foundation Company starting with providing potential customers with a free estimate. Atlas only gives an estimate for the work necessary to correct the problem. At the time of an estimate, they will take elevations and assess any damage to ensure that the best possible repair plan is chosen. Atlas foundation offers concrete pilings, steel pilings, pier and beam leveling and drainage repairs to fit all needs. Once repairs are completed, they are backed up by a True Lifetime Free Adjustment Warranty for the life of the home. We are excited to announce that we are now also offering Foam Injection Concrete Lifting to eliminate trip hazards and raise concrete. The lifting possibilities are endless and include driveways, sidewalks, porches, pool decks, patios and void filling just to name a few. We are honored to be celebrating our 60th anniversary of serving our community and are looking forward to a bright future with Darrel's daughter, Lindsay and Lonnie's son, Kyler training to take over as co-owners and continue the family legacy. Description of Work: I had our foundation repaired by Atlas Foundation. They provided a very professional crew that provided excellent service. The foreman kept me informed every step of the way. They also repaired mortar cracks in the brick. You can't even tell it was there. They also took care to clean up in the yard afterwards and put back the plant they had to move. I was very pleased with this company and would recommend them as I would use them again.

Repair crew arrived early in the morning. Crew dug 7 holes for piers. One hole required the breaking of concrete on small portion of my driveway. Piers were installed and the crew worked in unison to ratchet up foundation. Holes were filled including the one which required the breaking of concrete. New concrete was poured to repair the driveway. This project required the contractor to go into the neighbor's backyard because I live a zero lot. Contractor was very careful to put everything back as they found. Contractor was very professional.
Description of Work: My foundation was lifted on one side of my house. Caulking on window frames that had been split.

They were referred by a neighbor. He was very honest in my evaluation and let me me know I did not need my house leveled but we need to check it each year to see if a problems develops.

The price that they charged for the amount of work and the importance of it for the safety and security of our home was extremely great in my opinion. The company was prompt, courteous, cleaned up very well when the job was finished and were finished after 6 days of work. Their price when compared to the rest of the bids was fair. We were referred to this company by an engineer who first looked at the work.
Description of Work: Atlas Foundation did a huge job on our 4,700 square foot home. The home had to have 39 holes drilled for 39 piers to be installed underneath of our home. They had to take up the landscaping and replant it when they were finished.
