GOWAN INC

Gowan Inc (Mechanical) came out on a Friday to fix a problem I had with water coming out from under a toilet. The guy they sent told me that the problem was a clogged line and my warranty company would not pay to install a clean out. He gave me estimates on installing a clean out and left without fixing anything but took my check. he did not tgry turning off the water to the house or turning off the hot water. The problem was back the next day. I went and rented a snake, removed the toilet and checked the line the next day. The line was clean and was not clogged. My wife and I were up all night removing water from our bathroom and the carpet in our bedroom and hall way.We called Gowan at ten Saturday night and did not get a call back until ten on Sunday morning. They simply diod not care what we were going through due to their employees mis diagnosis of the problem. The city came out Sunday morning and checked the city lines and they were clean. I noticed that the water seeping under the toilet was clear and warm. I turned off the hot water heater and the leak stopped. Why did the plumber not find this on Friday? This was my last weekend with my wife before leaving to work out of town for almost a year and we spent it cleaning up water due to Gowan Inc. They simply did not care. The home warranty company even granted me an emergency status and would have paid Gowan extra for the weekend and they still refused to come to my aid on a weekend. I would not reccomend them to my worst enemy!
