We spent approximately $17,000 on this project. After the installation (August 2016), it appeared that the installation was generally okay. However, my wife and I did note to Mr. Young that his employees had stapled the wires running up the trees very deep into the tree bark (see attached pictures) and that eventually as the trees grow there would likely be an electrical short. Mr. Young responded that this was normal installation procedure and that he had never had any troubles in previous installations. In October 2017 (after the warranty expired), a short did occur as predicted and three lights in a row went out. Mr. Young refused to acknowledge it was due to the extreme stabling referred to above. However, the solution to the problem required him running new wires up the same trees with less severe stapling. We had to pay Mr. Young $500 to resolve the specific issue that was clearly caused by his poor installation but he would not replace all the wiring running up the other trees. Therefore, we are likely to experience future failures do to Mr. Young's poor installation. After Mr. Young repaired the problem and we paid him, I asked a Master Electrician to look at pictures of the "severe stapling" and he said "of course it caused the short." Later we had a bulb go out and when I tried to find the same type of bulb that would fit, I discovered it was no longer being produced. I called Mr. Young to ask where I could find another bulb that would work and he said the one he installed was still being produced. When I informed him that the company that produced the bulb had on their website that it was no longer in production, he accused me of speaking to him in a condescending manner. Mr. Young has a great sales pitch but does not stand behind his work and becomes argumentative if you do not agree with him. Luckily for me, the company who no longer produces the original bulb (that Mr. Young installed) in our back yard helped me find another bulb (at no cost) that is produced by a competitor. Mr. Young simply refused to help.

We had Young Landscaping replace 70+ plants damaged by winter freeze. There prices were reasonable, and plant material used was excellent. The crew showed up on time (with the owner Dagan) and they did the job in half a day with no drama. The whole process was efficient and the job looks great.

It went really well. They were able to squeeze us in and finish up on time and on budget. We will be using them again for our next project as soon as there is room in their schedule.

It went well. I purchased 6 hours, but with 3 man-crew @ 2 hours each, we ran out of time. They did not have time to complete the job.

Dagan and his team were wonderful to work with. We ended up changing the design a few times as they were working on the yard. They helped by giving me advise and ideas that I could envision of how to best utilize the small yard space. The flagstone area turned out better than expected. The new flagstone area blends in so well that you can not tell the difference between the initial work and the new installation. I would definitely hire them again.

It was a great job and the lighting is perfect!

The crew showed up and worked for 5 hours. They got the job done and I am very pleased with the work performed. I have also hired them to complete the landscaping project. I will add more information once the project is complete

They showed up on time and began to trim the shrubs... however, they really cut only the front of them where they could reach -- the backs are still very tall and now they are all misshapen. They completely missed a couple of shrubs/trees I had pointed out to them.

The crew did a great job start to finish! They showed up on time and did a great job of cleaning up my landscaping which was becoming overgrown with weeds. They also hauled off all the debris and raked up leaves. I will definitely use them again in the future and would highly recommend them.

Steve & his crew arrived right on time and got to work right away. Trimmed all shrubs back that suffered freeze damage plus additional trees and shrubs trimmed. Leaves blown and hauled away. Place looks awesome- would definitely hire again

I had an overgrown backyard. The 3-man crew removed the overgrowth and trimmed back what needed trimming. I am going to enjoy looking at my backyard again. Excellent.

I purchased as a special offer on Angie's List. Excellent work. The team was very punctual and professional. They accomplished the job in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Young Landscaping installed, 21 path lights , four directional lights,cables and wiring, 5 down lights in trees, 2 transformer boxes, illuminated our gazebo and existing deck. It was extensive work. Everything was done in a professional manner and without incident. We love the results and couldn't be happier.

Fantastic! We had to wait for about a month to get on the schedule but these guys are definitely worth waiting for! Be patient.

Dagan, Steve and Casey are great professionals. They were always timely, performed very high quality work and were very respectful. I've called on them since they finished the work to help stake a couple plants and they've come out and taken care of it at no charge. They are truly great to work with and do great work.

Dagan (and his crew) did a fantastic job. I could not be happier. I wanted lighting in my back yard for security and wanted it to look good at the same time. Dagan came out and knew exactly what to put up (proper wattage of fixture, etc.). He made sure the light fixtures were hidden behind the tree limbs as much as possible and knew how to direct the lights to make them project the neatest looking light pattern at night. I had a couple of other guys come out before choosing Dagan. Once Dagan came out to look at my project, it was obvious the guy knew what he was talking about.

I was desperate as I had relatives arriving in 3 days and my regular yard man was not answering calls. I called Young and they came over the next day for an estimate and immediately started working on the yard, once I gave approval. I live in a garden home but it is surrounded by landscaped shrubs and many different kinds. They trimmed and cleaned and actually stayed a few minutes over.At first I thought too much, but it took up all that time and more, to get it looking like I wanted it.

Dagan Young responded quickly to my initial inquiry, scheduling an appointment to meet with me. With a challenging front entrance I wanted his opinion on how to best light the area. He made suggestions and explained the equipment he would use. Dagan emailed me a written proposal that evening. On the scheduled work day Dagan with his crew arrived on time, and completed the work on schedule, even accommodating changes I made midway through the job, and without a delay! The crew was always professional and courteous. I am very pleased with the my landscape lighting, and will recommend this company without reservation. Thank you Dagan, Steve and Casey.

Impressed with the beautiful work completed by Dagan's crew, as we never knew how painstaking it was to individually lay flagstone to make the pathway work with the needed slope/drainage of the designated area. The crew was a great group of guys that were professional without being too stuffy. The cost for hardscaping/landscaping always seems high until you realize the amount of labor that goes into these projects, but feel that Dagan & his crew worked pretty hard in the July sun for the amount paid. Also want to note how accommodating Dagan was in trying to assist us in completing the project within the time constraints of our HOA (so trust me when I say that he is very understanding of working within HOA regulations). Dagan also took quite a bit of his own time to come to our home & help us to develop the project, so he is a full service operation (and the estimate was free, which was impressive due to the amount of work that goes into bid development & his time on site). Highly recommend these guys for any of your landscaping or hardscaping needs!

Best company I could have picked for the job! This crew is so user friendly and professional with so many hidden talents I could not believe the finished product. From day one these guys were able to fix a very large structure that was slowly separating with a sagging roof. The best part is the beautiful fireplace addition that is built into the cabana so well it looks like it should have always been there. The ideas and accents are truly one of a kind, thank you so much for the awesome job and hard work you did. Truly amazing!

Dagan was very professional from day one and scheduled the job as soon as we had approval from the hoa. On the scheduled start day Dagan introduced his crew (Steve and Casey)and explained the scope of the work and answered our questions. At the end of day one he followed up with us on the progress and on day two he was working along side Steve and Casey. We also asked if he could complete a small landscape bed for us and they were able to complete that by working longer hours. We are very happy with the work that Dagan, Steve, and Casey did and have received compliments from several neighbors. We will be using Young Landscaping for oyr next landscaping project.

From start to finish, the entire engagement with Young Landscaping was extremely professional. Lighting job involved both uplighting of my home as well as downlighting of my oak trees, which truly set off the entire front facade of my house. They worked throughout the two days without issue. The final result was amazing and really transformed the appearance of the home. These guys did such a good job that i'll contract for them now to do the same for the backyard. Highly recommend.
