Anthony & Sylvan Pools

The finished product is beautiful. Although getting there was frustrating at times, A&S did a good job of keeping us informed of any delays due to weather or contractor issues. I would like to also mention the outstanding after care they provide. I would easily recommend them to anyone considering a pool installation in the San Antonio area.

I really liked the end results but getting there was a little rough because it took a long time. There were problems after the job was complete and they had to come back out.

Anthony Sylvan gave me more pool and Decking for my money than the other bids I got.

It went great. They are very honest and customer based. They go the extra mile for customer, and if something is not done right they make it right.

We had a very good sales person who was very helpful and responsive named Joe. Our site supervisor Jeff was very good, as well. We had an issue with our heat pump and they kept trying to resolve the issue until they actually replaced the pump which works beautifully, now. They were exceptionally helpful. The pool is extremely pretty and well done. Everyone was very professional, explained everything completely, responsive to calls and emails. I appreciated all they did for us. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

We were really happy with the designer who first designed the pool. He was real good at doing that but not over selling us with additional things, no push in sales. We went with the most swimming space we could get with our budget. The construction guys were always on time once the work started. We had no complaints whatsoever. We've already recommended them to others who have asked us about our pool. They pretty much promised what they sold us. We're very happy with the job.

It went really well. We met with a few pool companies and Anthony & Sylvan came back with a very similar design that everyone else did, but was less expensive. They were very good to deal with. We had full access to the builder, designer and construction crew throughout the whole process. We had a few changes along the way that they were more than willing to implemenet with no additional cost. Since then we've had minor issues with the pool and they always come out right away to fix the issue.

It's beautiful. I talked to several pool companies and I was impressed with Anthony & Sylvan. They kept everything very, very clean. Everything looks very nice and I ended up with a wonderful pool. They even cleaned the street if they got gravel on the street. My neighbors couldn't believe it. The pool quality is really good and I am extremely happy with it. They even followed up after and sent a pool guy out to give me a little training. I called them out several times and they always came right out to resolve any issues and explained to me what I was doing wrong.

It went well. They did a good job.They were professional and did a good job building the pool. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They built exactly what I wanted. We didn't have to worry about too much. I could call if I had a concern and it was handled.

It went really well. It was raining at that time but they stayed in contact with us. Price was reasonable. If you are looking for company that you can trust they are the right company.

Great sales process but salesman did not tell the truth about certain materials. DO NOT PUT LIMESTONE COPING ON A SALINE POOL!!! They say it will "wear out faster," but they do not say that it will continually dissolve into the pool and drop chips of limestone into the water, staining the bottom and filling the Polaris bag every day. The steps were a nightmare, even though the salesman listened and drew the steps I needed, they were not done correctly on the first two tries, and there was no communication between different staffs. I was willing to pay the outrageous price for the quality, but did not receive what I paid for. They have a project manager who talks to me but then his boss vetoes what the project manager says. There are many layers of "management" who contradict each other, makes promises, and then never finish the pool, even though the loan comes due. I am paying for an unfinished pool. They DO NOT use licensed plumbers, so the autofill is done with a "y" fitting on your back hose bib, which looks pretty cheap and "pasted together." They DO use a licensed electrician, but the wiring to our pool light switch broke the first time we used it. It has not been repaired. The salinator was installed broken, so in seven weeks it has not worked and they have not fixed it, even though they say they will. That leaves us to pour unending gallons of chlorine into the pool to keep it swimmable until they decide to fix it. The Polaris was installed wrong, with a broken part that we eventually fixed at our own (small) expense and a lot of hassle. The contractors left piles of trash everywhere, so I cleaned up lunch trash, apple cores, and water bottles daily for six weeks. The final cleanup crew threw away a critical part of the filter and I was blamed for it. I am not surprised, since they left parts of everything scattered all over the yard. The filter installation is messy, with wires hanging all over the place. The slab they put down for the filter was not put in, just put next to the house, so not it has eroded under the front third of the slab. That is apparently mine to fix. This pool with no spa cost me $54,000. I was a fool to believe the positive reviews on this company.

The experience overall was great, but there was a minor setback because the sales person was not good, but when Jeff took over everything was exceptional.

They were very professional and patient. We had lots of questions and concerns that they answered professionally. We had an initial design for our pool, but they took our idea and expanded it . The pool was still in our price range but much nicer than we could have imagined. They went above and beyond. The head contractor was excellent as well. He was always there and always followed up on everything that was being done. Even after the project had been completed, he still calls to follow up to answer any questions we may have and to make sure we are still enjoying it.

It went very well. We had an old pool they had to remove so they could put in the new one. They did a great job. The general contractor kept us up-to-date on what work was being done and who would be in to do the work with the different aspects of the job.

From the get go everything went great, Jason Olcott the sales representative made the contracting go very smoothly, Jeff, the project manager was very pleasant to work with. Both were very responsive to any questions i may have had through out the process. Im so pleased with not only the employees on Anthony and Sylvan as well as the entire process that i have referred a number of people interested in pools to their establishment. If i had to do it over again I would go back to them.

It went great! It was a pretty big project so we were hesitant at first. The service went completely smoothly and we had no issues.

Our experience with Anthony and Sylvan Pool Company was excellent. From the initial meeting, through design, construction and follow up....we were happy with everything. We finished with the pool design we had always hoped for. They are great people and pay attention to every detail.

Jeff, who managed all of the construction, was absolutely amazing. He not only guided us through the construction process, but has always been there in case we had any questions even after construction was done. I manage a large Real Estate Company that oversees a lot of Real Estate development and I have to work with 100's of contractors.....I can honestly tell you that Jeff and Anthony & Sylvan Pools are some of the best that I have ever worked with.
