For the most part, it was excellent. Towards the end I had to really be on their case to follow through, and they did. It was good.

I decided to use Anthony & Sylvan Pools to build our pool, Jacuzzi and grotto after talking to and reviewing 4 different companies. The designer Joe made sure to include all of the many items on my wish list! Jeff had a VERY hard working crew working on all of the stone work around the decking and the grotto! No wasting time with these guys! I would most definitely recommend Anthony & Sylvan Pools and may even use them again in one of my other properties

Jason Olcott helped with the design and Jeff was the construction supervisor. Jeff was awesome! He listened to our suggestions and got the pool done in time for the Fourth of July! They were wonderful. We would recommend them to all of our friends 😀

Sales and design were great and we were excited to build our pool. That ended the day construction was scheduled to begin when they realized typical equipment wouldn't fit and would require a mini excavator. Sales says don't worry we will eat the cost. 2 days later they say they need an additional $20,000.00 to LEASE a mini excavator for 1-2 weeks or we can cancel the contract. You could PURCHASE a mini excavator for $20,000 and typical leasing costs are $300/day to $1500/week. Now we have to figure out what to do with the loan as checks were sent from the bank made out to us and them. This is a terrible and crooked company trying to take advantage of people. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

I have been in the business of general contracting & developing for over 40 years, with that being said I would have hired their company salesman and superintendent. They were so good as far as communicating, explaining & details of how the job was going. They walked me through the final phase & left me with a fantastic pool!

We signed contract at the end of September 2014 and they got started promptly. After the hole was dug we had them increase the size of the pool which they did for a very reasonable fee. The depth profile was incorrect at this time. We pointed this out and they immediately fixed the proble. They then proceeded to plumb the pool. Then the rebar was placed and they shot the gunite finish. After that they applied the pebble finish which we had selected. Unfortunately the subcontractor did a poor job applying the pebble finish. The project manager for the pool company immediately noticed this. They tried several things to fix the modeling problem but none worked. They then at no cost to us offered to replace the pebble finish. After much discussion we decided to upgrade the finish to a wet edge finish. They did this upgrade and supposedly we only paid for the additional material cost. They also made significant changes to the in floor cleaning system at this time at no cost to us. This included moving one head, installing high performance heads and swapped out a fixed speed pump for a more expensive variable speed pump, all at no cost to us. In the end the second finish ended up beautiful. The in floor cleaning works great. I realize that there were issues with the project but in the end they did fix all items and were always attentive to our concerns and issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone whom wants a great pool. They even have been very attentive to following up with us sense the pool was completed about 3 months back.

It has been great. The only thing that has delayed the progress has been the terrible Spring rains that have created delays. Every date that was estimated was hit on schedule unless rain precluded it. If you're considering a pool, we recommend you do this: get at least three bids from known good pool companies, but BE SURE TO INCLUDE ANTHONY & SYLVAN. You will be pleased at what you find. Listen to Jason, a real pro who has been a pool construction supervisor in the past. He comes from a pool family. Listen to him ? no BS. Jason designs what you want and advises you about things that can make it better, NOT parlay the price up. Very professional, very personable. Highly recommended. These guys are great. Their subs are professional, caring, prompt, perfectionist, and they make it everything work ? as advertised. We have had other companies do other work on our property as we built our own homestead over the years. NOBODY has been as professional and accommodating as the A&S team. In the end, it comes down to Jeff, the Job Supervisor, who has attended the project from day one to culmination. He does not compromise. He is our adversary on every issue. He watches out and ensures we receive only top quality in our project. We have a tendency to watch everything that happens on our property and we watch how we spend our dollars. Both Jason and Jeff are a class "A"act. They know pools. They know South Texas Hill Country construction and they go out of their way to attend to your concerns. We cannot be happier with the process of building our pool than with the Anthony & Sylvan company. It's all because of Jason and Jeff. We highly recommend this company in the San Antonio area.

My first meeting with the design consultant Jason was wonderful! He looked at my available area for a pool and put together a beautiful design that incorporated much of my existing landscaping. He listened to me and how I would use the pool mostly for relaxing and cooling off in the summer. My Labrador retriever would be in the pool a lot as well. Not only do I have a fabulous pool with many ledges of varying depths, I also have a waterfall, a bubbler and a HOT TUB! My construction manager Jeff was wonderful as well! He is very knowledgeable and explained things in simpler terms to me when needed. I didn't realize how many phases of pool construction were involved, but Jeff kept to a tight schedule and had complete control over the process...........despite the numerous RAIN/WET days. He was in constant communication with me and available when I needed to discuss an issue or make a change. Overall a GREAT experience and result!!!
