Garden-Ville

I had a day off and needed to pick up items for my vegetable garden. I've passed Garden-Ville on FM 1327 for several years never stopping in, but did this time. What a nice surprise. Outside is a large collection of assorted containers at all price points. They also have a variety of soils (bagged and bulk), soil amendments, and plants -- both edible and ornamental. And the prices are surprisingly good. Vegetable transplants in 4-inch pots only cost $1.39. I bought a beautiful red bamboo planter for $6.00. The staff was friendly and helpful. The inside of the store is too cramped and I thought I might trip and fall over something, but luck was with me. They also have a very mellow little black store kitty that sits at the register. Overall I was very happy and will definitely return.
