Oven was not working, repairman came twice, once to diagnose the problem-bad thermostat- and a second time to replace the thermostat. The oven still did not work. He then told me that it needed a new electrical harness which only showed up as bad once the thermostat was working properly. This would be another $90. (not to be paid till part arrived) Since they had to order this part from the factory, it would take about 10 business days to receive the part. Two weeks later I called to ask if the part had arrived. I was told no. I waited a few days and called again very early in the morning and left a message for them to call me. I just wanted a status update. They did not call back. I called shortly before closing to ask again about the part. This was on a Friday and the woman said she would have to call the factory on Monday morning to find out why it was taking so long to receive the part. She said she would call first thing Monday morning and would then call me. (Don't know why she didn't check on that question after receiving my voice message very early in the day). Another weekend passes. No call from the shop on Monday. I call again Tuesday morning. Got the answering machine. Left message. No response. Finally got a hold of someone in the afternoon. She put me on hold...five minutes later, still on hold. I hung up, called back several times over the next few hours, all I got was the answering machine. Never received a call back. Finally yesterday, October October 19th, I called and left a message. In essence I told them to "drop everything, I was tired of waiting. I give up. Maybe they do good work, but their relations with customers sucked". Sad thing is, I chose them off Angie's list and was expecting a positive experience. Instead, I was very disappointed. My experience would have been much more positive if they had just returned my calls! The repairman was professional, have no gripes about him at all. But communication from the office/shop was horrible. I will not use them again.

I've had them come to the house for a number of services from appliance installations to servicing our dryer. Each time I received very good service. I'm very pleased with this company from the friendly lady on the phone to the men coming to do the work. Very reasonable prices.
Description of Work: I have had them to my house a number of times in the past couple of months for an oven installation, stovetop installation and dryer repair. Each time has been a positive experience. They have a very pleasant receptionist at the office who is very helpful and accomodating and their service people are very professional, knowledgable, friendly, and quick. I will call them each time I need service in the future.

Electric dryer would not turn on, and electrician said a loose connection had caused the terminal block to melt. After calling manufacturer (for warranty purposes), I contacted CG Services and described the problem. Within 15 minutes, they called back and explained that the part was not in stock, but would arrive in two days. On the morning of the second day, they called before 11am, arrived at 11:30am, and had the work completed by noon. They were very professional and responsive throughout the process, and they are now billing the manufacturer for the in-warranty service.
Description of Work: Replaced terminal block and cord on electric dryer.
