They did a wonderful job! Because it was almost a whole house tiling, I was nervous about how it might go but I had nothing to worry about. I got bids from three other places before deciding on Zwernemann Flooring. It was the right choice!

We contacted Zwernemann's because they were ranked high on Angie's for Laminate Flooring. We have existing laminate in our entry hall, dining, and kitchen. We want to use the same exact material in our living room and lay the floor where it was a continuation of the existing. Zwernemann's sent a guy to measure and estimate the job. He was told how we wanted the floor to be laced in the existing floor with no transitions, and he said, and quot;no problemand quot;. A couple of days later they sent an installer out to look at our project. He was told how we wanted the floor installed and he said, and quot;no problemand quot;. They gave me an estimate and told me how much material to purchase. We agreed on the price and the work was scheduled. On the day they are to start, they send a different installer and the first guy that looked at the job is not here either. The guy shows up at 10:00 AM, and it becomes obvious the other guys did not even talk to him. Two-days to do the leveling repairs. Then he laid the floor in the living room reversed from the other floor, started on the opposite side of the room from the existing floor, and used transitions strips in the doorways. When I got home he was 80% done, so I told him to finish it. I called Zwernemann's the next day and told them I was very dissatisfied with the job, as it was not laid the way we originally agreed. They said they would do whatever it took to make me happy, so I told them I wanted it taken up and re-laid they way we originally agreed. We got a visit from the owner to look at the job. He did not come at the appointed time so I was not there. I spoke to him on the phone. He was very nice and cordial, but he tried every possible way to get me to agree to leaving the transition strips. Saying it was to much area, and would buckle without the transitions. I then had to purchase an additional $310 of material for them to re-lay the floor. When the installer arrive at 11:00 AM he was instructed to just flip the material around and re-install the transition strips. I would not allow it, so he calls his boss and was told I would have to sign a waiver on the warranty of the installation. I said, fine I'll sign it, just lay the floor the way we originally agreed and he did. The installer did a very good job on the floor and we are very pleased with how it turned out. We were just very frustrated and displeased with the battle it took to get there. All of these problems could have been avoided, had Zwernemann's just communicated with their people.

Zwernemann Flooring did a truly excellent job installing my new floor. They were prompt and responsive in giving me their estimate, unlike some other flooring installers here in Bryan. The office staff is pleasant, prompt and friendly. When their installer arrived to begin putting down the floor, he discovered the slab wasn't level at all and needed to be floated. Greg Zwernemann, the owner, was here at the house within 15 minutes. He said this happens perhaps once in every hundred jobs. They HAD to fix the wavy slab - can't put a new floor on an uneven surface. It took 70 bags of self-leveling concrete. Greg gave me a break on the cost. He said he wasn't making any profit on this part of the job. I want to point out that, although the total cost was quite high, their charges for installation were extremely reasonable. Most of the cost was because I chose to install walnut flooring, which is among the most expensive on the market. Then, when I was moving in, the movers caused a significant amount of damage to MY BRAND NEW FLOOR. They dragged furniture instead of carrying it. The moving company tried every which way to weasel out of accepting responsibility. Greg interceded on my behalf and got them to make it right. The repair work was done so well you would never even guess the floor had been damaged. Another thing they did was send Hugo to put down a few tiles that were needed when I pulled some cabinets in order to have a gas range installed in place of an electric cooktop. Hugo was here for maybe 15 minutes. Perfect tile installation. Gosh, he's good! I'm contemplating a bathroom remodel and if that comes to pass I will specify Hugo from Zwernemann for the tile work.

Judd at Zwernemann Flooring was very helpful, professional, and courteous. The installer brought samples for us to look at when he came to give an estimate, the work was started quickly, exactly as they said it would be, was finished ahead of time and on budget. The floor came out beautifully. They cleaned up their mess, and were careful with my things. The price was right. I am very happy with the job.
