Description of Work: Check out an indicator light on my dryer, which was new and under warranty.

Description of Work: They were to service my Craftsman mower for seasonal mowing. This mower worked fine the prior fall. They never called when it was done, had to search to find it, and once picked up it was no longer self-propelled. I took it to another servicer for analysis/work, and they recommended I not spend further money on repairs. Sears either damaged my mower or took money for repairs they did not perform.

Description of Work: Sears Repair Services came for the same issue conserning my side by side Kenmore Elite Fridge.I've had Sear's repair here multiple times, always for the same problem. My freezer over freezes to the point of not being able to enjoy any frozen treats. I have and continue to pay yearly primiums for this service. Now that I need their help they are unable to help. The service repair folks acknowledge there is an issue, but say this has been on giong since the fridge rolled out. Odd, Ive never had a problem in the last ten years. I've paid enough into Sears warrenty program to buy two new fridges. My experiences with the two repair people that Sears sent out was terrible. One person actually gave my the "hand" when I asked a question and told me there was nothing wrong, though he did fix something. The next person was rude on arrival. My husband let him in the door (later I was told he was having a bad day-apperantly). I walked him into the kitchen, where he dropped his tool box and slammed it open. I asked , if he'd rather not be here. He said nothing. The repair person said he didn't want to argue the fact that these frides always have this problem. Again I said that I've never had this problem in the last ten years. He ended up repalacing something-no idea what he was doing. |I've had Sears repair for the same issue at least seven times with only these two individuals working it. One time I had the Sears Repair dishwasher guy here (excellent) at the same time as one of the fridge guys. The dishwasher guy almost got into an arguement backing my issue. Very sad for Sears, since they're hanging on by a thread!

Description of Work: Dryer repair. Our dryer had stopped heating and Sears found the problem but could not complete the job due to their own lack of parts. The dryer is a stackable and whomever had installed the power cord did it wrong, burning out one element of the plug plus an internal wiring harness. He replaced everything but the cord.. Because the only one stocked in the van was too short to use without in stacking my stackable unit. So it cost me almost $200 and I still had to install a new power cord myself. Not cool. OTHERWISE the technician himself was great- but really sears? Sending these guys out without all the parts they might need? Come on.
