Lowe's Of Bryan

Was delivered a dirty and scratched toolbox I ordered new for a Christmas gift for my husband. When I reported the scratch to corporate they were helpful and said a new one would be ordered. Then Luis Herrera the back manager from Bryan Lowe’s called and said I was lying about the scratch and they would come pick it up and refund me but refused to order a new one. When I called back 5 minutes later he refused our call. Corporate resolved the issue. I highly recommend college station Lowe’s over the Bryan location. Luis was rude and unprofessional and refused to help. We have never had issues with College Station Lowe’s or corporate.

The customer service was not so great. Sometimes it's difficult to get a salesperson to pay attention to you. They didn't deliver it, I loaded it on the back of my pick up, brought it out and installed it myself.

Not installed yet but there were two issues, 1st they advertise that they will install new windows for $99.00 per window, but when they get to your house they tell you that is the "put in" price, there's also a removal fee for each window as well, which is even higher than the install price. So be carefully and ask questions before you even think about ordering them, it's basically a hidden fee to raise the profit margin of the install. Compare it to replacing your windshield of your car, the cost includes removal and installing, there is not one charge for taking the old one out and another for putting it in. So to summarize, the replacement fee of $99.00 is misleading. Secondly, once they sprung the above fees on us we told them we were going to check around town and to not order or bill us for the windows until we got back to them, then on Sunday they called to tell us they have ordered the windows, yet we had told them to hold off. With that we spoke to the store assistant manager, he dropped the additional fees for removing the old windows if we'd take the windows they had already ordered. We agreed to that and the new windows will be installed next month. Again, the windows are at the store now and they told us they'd install them within a few days of arrival, but the windows have arrived and they are going to be 3 weeks until they are installed. Not what they told us up front.

I would use their services again in the future.

We had some gutters put on by Lowe's and we were not happy. My husband had to keep reattaching them. They subcontracted it out to guys from Austin. The gutters are okay, but the water drips between the house and the gutters so they are not against the house properly. We had some issue, but my husband already went back with them to reattach the gutters a little bit. The overall experience has been poor.

Called and requested a receipt for purchase and have not received it and that was 2 months ago. Arranged for delivery and they didn't show up when stated.

Service in the store was good, but it usually is. Lowe's is close to our home and convenient, but they also give great customer service inside the store. The installer called us the next day to schedule the appointment and did delivery/take away of the appliance. They contract out with a third party to provide the services, but I always had a follow up from the store representative to check on our experience. We also had a disposal that we purchased and installed from Lowe's, and the experience was good as well. Will be purchasing a refrigerator in the near future and plan to have them install it as well.
