Description of Work: Removed and replaced windows

Description of Work: They installed two large windows and a door. The installation was poorly done with no weatherstripping caulking or sealant. The window trim had large gaps at the joints. None of the trim was painted. The manufacture's and industry standards on sealing the windows were not followed despite my insistance. The windows both leaked badly with water damage to the window trim and my hardwood floors. The workers destroyed houshold items due to clumsiness. The proprietor was rude and his workers didn't show up twice due to hangovers according to him. Corrective work was done eventually after I contacted Angie's list but the windows still leak a little.

Description of Work: Installed attic insulation. Despite several changes in date of installation for a variety of reasons, we are pleased with the results.

Description of Work: Asked contractor for an estimate to include kitchen, dinning area, living area, hall and hall bath. He suggested starting with the cost for the kitchen and dinning areas and when that was done he would then give an estimate for the rest of the house. I asked him twice to give me a price for the entire remodel since I could not budget without knowing how much the entire project would be. He quoted me 25,000 just for the kitchen and dinning room. The contractor I chose charged me just over 25,000 for all the rooms.

Description of Work: I had a house in Austin that needed a great deal of work. Stephen"s company was able to help me with the repairs at an affordable cost. Stephan's work was outstanding. The repairs varied through out the house. I would call Stephen, tell him what I needed repaired and the job would be done. If Stephan's crew could not complete the job, he found someone to do so. I also had rental property in Bryan, and again I would call, a written estimate would be emailed, and the job completed. There were no hidden cost in his estimates. If he said $500.00 that would be the cost. In one instance one of my tentants noticed he was doing repairs to the neighboring tenant and asked if he could do some minor repairs for her. Because he did not contact me, he told me he would not hold me responsible for the repair. Because I did not know if he would do these types of repairs, I was reluctant to ask him. By doing these minor repairs, I feel he made my tenant a happy camper. I gladly paid him. I would strongly recommend Stephen as a contractor. Leah Montgomery RPh.

Description of Work: All of the windows in the house were single pane wooden frame, and very drafty. Green Igloo removed the windows, replaced framing where reqiured,and replaced with energy effecient windows. These can be taken out and cleaned as required and the house is know window draft free helping our electricity bill and we dont have to sit with a blanket around us to watch TV. They worked one window at a time thus preventing mimimal dicomfort to us. The workers were professional in attitude and making sure to minimise disruption to us.They put on socks when entering the house, cleaned up after themselves each night .

Description of Work: We had carpet in the front and living room,but underneath was hardwood floor. We wanted to go back to the wooden floor. They took out the carpet sanded the floor smooth, and coated the floor with several coats of polyurethane. Results excellent. They covered all furniture and door openings with plastic keeping dust to a minimum.

Description of Work: On separate occasions in 2010 and 2011, we contracted Green Igloo to install 8 new windows and one new door, build a pool deck, and remodel two bathrooms, and they did an outstanding job on each project.

Description of Work: A brick fire wall on my Mother's townhouse had decenter-grated, creating major leaks when it rained. The entire wall had to basically be fabricated. He also installed a new roof.
