Custom Homes by Michelangelo just built my family a custom home in the Rancho Viejo, Texas. Before building, my wife and I looked at numerous homes throughout the area; in search of an attractive, high-quality home, built at the right price. We found that Custom Homes by Michelangelo lived up to their [Michelangelo] name, as the level of detail and quality work was obviously top-notch. Throughout the building process, we were extremely pleased with the amount of attention we received from the company owner, Enrique Urbina. As is common in the homebuilding process, we had several concerns arise at various stages throughout the building process. The builder was able to more than adequately address each concern and was prompt about returning every phone call and answering all our questions. Enrique was aggressive about making sure his subcontractors performed quality work, and if anything needed to be redone, it was taken care of ?done right- no questions asked. We incorporated many energy saving features into our home (closed-cell foam insulation, concrete roof tile, on-demand water heaters, etc.). We were able to rely on Enrique to apply his extensive experience, and that of his veteran subcontractors, to ensure the energy saving features were installed properly and up to code. The building process was carried out promptly. From start to finish, the house took about 4 months to complete. Enrique was great about keeping things organized and moving. Having built prior homes, through other home builders, I was aware of the many pitfalls and things that can go wrong throughout the homebuilding process. A well-qualified, attentive, homebuilder who cares about the needs of his/her clients is imperative. Enrique exceeded our expectations and kept things on the right track and running as smoothly as possible.
