MIKE JOHNSON HOMES

Description of Work: My husband and I purchased this custom 2300 sq. ft. home in December 2007, and at that time the home was 1 year old. The previous owners intended on the 200 sq. ft. back screened in porch to be just that, only a screened in porch with a concrete floor. I wanted it remodeled and turned into a beautiful sunroom with picture windows, 4 functional windows, and ceramic tile on the floor. Well, through much research and soliciting bids, we decided on Mike Johnson Homes. This is my first home to own, so I was pretty nervous about hiring a contractor. But, Mike and his Father Charles were so easy going and nice, and took the time to explain what their ideas were and make good suggestions to me. And after hearing from a previous customer that they did such a good job on his home and a family member's home, that really put my mind at ease. So, I researched windows, and chose the type of windows I wanted, and they ordered them. When they came in I paid them for the windows, which was half of the cost of the total bid. They tore out all of the screens, tore off all of the contractor's plastic my husband had put on right after we purchased the house in order to create a moisture barrier in there. They installed all new windows with proper trim, etc. They installed a new window A/C unit in the wall and trimmed it all out. They hired a vinyl sub-contractor to wrap all exposed wood, who did an excellent job as well. Voil ! Beautiful new sunroom to enjoy now!
