Description of Work: I had requested service because the dishwasher had backed up and soapy water was all over the floor. The The drain line from the sink had been plugged up and I had cleared that a couple of days before, but then after that was cleared the dishwasher overflowed. The repair man explained everything to me and showed me what I needed to do to fix it myself next time.

+ -1 moreWhile it's never pleasant to be without a washer, I feel Don's Appliance Repair came out as quick as they could. Everything was very satisfactory.
Description of Work: Have a Maytag front loader that needed repair. Don seems very laid back both on the phone and on the job. One may even be tempted to think it's unprofessional, but he came out once and diagnosed the problem, got it working again and only charged me the trip charge. Told me the part would probably fail eventually, and he'd order it and only charge for the part, not labor or travel. While he was out the second time, my husband asked him to check out a sound the dryer had been making. While he couldn't reproduce the noise, he didn't charge extra. I will definitely call him first the next time I need someone. He charged $95 trip charge - Sears was going to charge much more!

+ -1 moreIt was two days before Thanksgiving and the stove went out. We have an old kitchen and it had an odd shaped stove top that had to go on the counter. He had my stove and the top installed all in the same day, and I did not have to wait. It was all done before Thanksgiving. I don't even think he charged anything extra for that. He was nice and fast. He cleaned up everything. I will use his services again.
Description of Work: I purchased a new stove and I had it installed.
