We are very satisfied with them. They come twice a year. We have a yearly membership. They are not paid commission off of things they sell. Their service techs are salaried. It is a flat rate of $400 a year. They are pretty professional. They do try to sell some things that are pretty expensive but they are just trying to cover all their bases in case the house would be hit by lightning or something. They are pretty friendly. They make sure we understand certain things and they will explain the way the systems work and if something is not working efficiently and whether or not to leave the vents open or closed and what works best for our house. They are pretty efficient with their office staff. Someone comes out within a day or so. We will absolutely continue to use them.

I've updated the review after receiving a call from the owner of KC Air. He was very professional and seemed genuinely concerned with the way things transpired. I had gone with their Angie's List deal because they had so many good reviews. I believe my frustrating experience was probably a fluke.

The representative from Kendall County Air was right on time, very professional, easy to talk to and worked hard to properly diagnose issues with our A/C system. The quote we received for a new unit and related work was competitive and thorough. We have decided to limp our current system along for a little bit longer but for anyone looking to replace their system I feel confident that Kendall County Air is a great choice.

Kendall County Air was great! My whole service experience with them was wonderful from the first phone call to the actual service call. Very professional. Did not try to sell me any extra services or equipment I did not need. Found the problem and fixed it promptly. Service man was prompt time window was met, everything went great. Serviceman explained everything to me. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Thanks guys!

The entire process went very smoothly, from the sales person taking measurements and providing options through installation. All paperwork for rebates was provided and laid out for easy submission. The installation crew kept everything clean and removed any trace of the old system.

Kendall County Air did very good. We were impressed. Their price was very reasonable.We called them in the middle of the night and they came out and did a good job.

The whole process was excellent from start to finish.

The installers were very knowledgable and explained what they were doing. They had me look at the different options of work. They were very good about cleaning up after themselves. I was comfortable having them in my house. The follow-up was great. There was a rattle in the system a couple of days later and they came back out and one of the pipes was banging against the unit. They fixed it so there were no further noises. They were prompt and on time and explained why this happened. I would use them again.

Been having AC problems for a couple of years and had gone with another company. Decided to go with this company to try and clean up the mess. They were extremely professional. Very nice. The weather turned cool right after they completed the job so I'm not sure if they fixed my problems thoroughly or not. Will have to wait till summer to know. They also gave us some other tips to get the most out of our system. Excellent financing as well.

When they made some mistakes and I called it to the attention of the owner, he corrected it and he gave us a partial refund which was good. The owner was professional, but the guys who came out obviously didn’t know what they're doing because they made some mistakes. In the end the owner helped me out a lot.

I called Kendall County Air and had an appointment for the very next day. I asked for someone to arrive after 3:30pm and Walter was tapping on my door at 3:35pm - first block checked! Walter was pleasant and professional. He made several recommendations that we had expected and Life Is Good! I most definitely would recommend Kendall County Air and Walter!

The overall experience was excellent. I was looking to hire a new Heating & AC service provider located near our home. Additionally, I wanted a fresh opinion on the overall condition of the systems and equipment after inspection. My choice of this company came after I researched KCA on Angie's List, heard the Dave Ramsey Show endorsement, and visited their office in person to meet the staff. The service technician, Shane, was professional, polite, and informative. He spent time with me after his inspection to explain the minor repairs/improvements he did as part of the service, at no extra charge. He offered products and services available that day, or for in the future if I preferred, to improve energy-efficiency and indoor air quality. I was concerned at first when quoted prices that seemed higher than expected. But was pleasantly surprised to find more services were included in those prices than I had become accustomed to in the past. I intended to hire KCA for a one-time seasonal service and ended up joining the Comfort Club!

We're regular users of Kendall Co. Air and called them for a spring tune-up of our A/C system. We prepaid for 2 visits (spring and fall). I contacted Kendall Co. Air and scheduled an appointment for the following week. They gave me a window of time for the appointment and Shane showed up on time. He was very professional and serviced the A/C unit (inside and outside) very quickly. He discovered an issue with the drain line and solved it for us. Shane also pointed out a problem that's causing less than optimal performance of our A/C system. He was very careful not to track dirt into the house. I'll definitely use this company again.

I kindly like them better than another air condition company I considered.

I have had nothing but positive experiences using Kendall County Air to service my heat pump systems. My house is zoned and has two systems. The service technicians have always acted in a professional manner. They call before arriving and have been very punctual. They are respectful of my house (use shoe covers to prevent tracking in dirt) and all repairs have been done correctly the first time. The replacement of the upstairs unit was done quickly and efficiently. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the work that they have performed.

This is the 3rd system we have acquired from K C A. Ryan Godin of K C A has led each of those acquisitions. The service and equipment has been outstanding.

Our A/C wnet out in our mobile home, which is 15 years old. Brian came out and provided repair costs. Since our unit was old, we wanted an estimate to replace the system. Justin came out the next day and discussed the options available to us for our house. When we decided to replace the system, Justin walked us through the financing portion. The next day, Cameron and James came out and spent the day replacing the system. They protected the floor, didn't disturb me at all, and cleaned up after the job was complete. Kirk came out to check about a noise and fixed the issue in minutes. Great work, punctual, friendly, responsive, addressed all our concerns, we are extremely pleased and the house feels great.

They were prompt in arrival, and worked for a while checking out the heat system and the suspect dampers that were on the blink. The guy that did the work finished, and said he strongly suggested that I have a conversation with their customer comfort specialist. I inquired as to why, and he said "I'm just the doctor, that specialist will be able to propose a solution to fix your problem at a reasonable cost." Sounded less expensive the way he stated it, so I agreed. Well it took two weeks to get the second guy scheduled (my fault on that). He arrived and spent a long time doing something. Then after an hour or so, he quoted me a three zone electronic panel, 3 new electronic dampers and three new digital programmable thermostats!. All that for just $5,300!!! I explained to that guy that I had two perfectly good programmable thermostats (which seemed to surprise him even tho he'd been there for an hour) and didn't understand why he wanted to sell me new ones. He just said it was 'part of the package'. Package? What package? What does it take to just fix my problem up there? He said I needed this, but if all I wanted to do was replace the damper motors, he'd have to get me the pricing. I explained clearly to him that I had asked them to come do a second opinion for me on what my system needs in order to be fixed. I did NOT bring them in there to try to up-sell me to buy an entire new system when my current system is only 6 years old. So I asked the guy to break down the labor and the parts for me so that I could understand his pricing. He said he was not able to, he didn't have access to the prices. (yet... they said he was a specialist). I let him know that I thought his price was way out of line, and that if I'd known they were planning to up-sell me, I wouldn't have wasted his time or mine. I was pleasant with him, and he to me, but I firmly let him know that their pricing and their proposal was completely unacceptable. SInce this company came, I had the first company come back to re-assess the work that needed to be done that they quoted from last summer. They came back, tested the mother board, control boards and damper motors... they stuck by their original assessment of the situation from last summer, and then they gave me another $200 discount on the quoted price from last summer. On the scoring, I scored them an 'D' for professionalism, because the first guy led me to believe that, as the 'doctor', he would be more costly and I needed to talk to a specialist, but then the 'specialist' would not tell me anything except that his price was a package price. He could not give me an itemized detail of what the charges were for parts & labor, when asked. They were courteous, but they were trying to sell me far more of a system than was remotely necessary for the situation. I scored them a "C" on price... because, metaphorically, they chose to try to sell me an entire 'car' when all I needed to buy was a couple of 'new tires'. 2-23-12 - UPDATED SCORE - I am impressed by the honest and professional response. I am upgrading my score on the Professionalism of this company to a "B" ... and the overall score to a "B"
