Catrina's at the Ranch

Description of Work: Catrina's came recommended to me and I saw her work at the Parade of Homes. I called her for a consultation. She showed up on time with her "entourage". She had wonderful ideas for a new custom couch, a rug to match, some paint accents and other ideas. The paint team showed up first. Which was ackward. It was a group of "boys". There was one designer and his little helpers. They were very sloppy. Far away the paint job looks fab! But up close it is embarassing. They did mainly faux painting accents on focus walls. The custom couch came in. Her delivery crew came and basically dropped it off and that was it. They did not know where it went, as well as the rugs. I did not remember what she had in mind, as it had been a few months. The quality of the large, room rug was that equal to one I could have purchased at a large, red circled logo nationwide store. It shed horribly and it not soft. 3 of the 6 throw pillows that were made with the couch had the wrong fringe on them, as I had to point out to her, she did not even know what she had ordered. It was an act of congress getting them corrected. I had curtain toppers made for the breakfast room and family room. In fabric she suggested. the curtain workroom (a 1 woman show) took forever and they were very plain. She relyed on ME to show her what kind of pleats, etc. they should have. The drapes for our master bedroom were a disaster. The fabric she chose was WAY to heavy and again the workroom had no idea what or how to hang them! I finally said just give them to me and i will take them somewhere else. After several phone calls and a nasty letter to her, i still had no response to my problems and dissatisfaction. I learned during my situation, she fired half of her team. Apparently she is hard to work with. I will NEVER shop there nor recommend her to anyone. We own a service company ourselves and you NEVER treat customers like that. Bad expriences are the best form of bad advertisements!

Description of Work: My sister was visiting from Colorado. We went to many stores looking for just the right piece for a certain wall in her house. Catrina's at the Ranch is HUGE, with many pieces to choose from (all types of rustic furniture), but sis couldn't find the right piece. She told Catrina what she wanted, and they designed a totally unique piece, and had it shipped to Colorado.
