This company's work is nothing short of excellent! This is our second experience with Boerne Painting and Remodeling within a 90-day timeframe and we were NOT disappointed! The painting estimate was detailed and competitively priced. Painters were professional, detail oriented and courteous. Each morning they arrived on time and was always eager to get to work and kept a great work ethic all day. John used nothing but the highest quality of materials. He was always cheerful when he answered our "101" questions, whether if it was on the telephone or in person when he made his daily stop at the work site just to make sure we were satisfied. Kudos for this company for having a superintendent who stayed on the work site all day. We have a lot of banding on our home which required tedious detailed work. Joe was terrific...he consistently checked the work and made sure everything met not just our standards, but the company's high standards. A few days after the house was finished, we called John to ask if they could come back when they had a chance to paint a couple of areas that needed touch up as a result of some additional roofing repair. We thought we might see him in a few days but John's workers came within a couple of hours of my call and touched up the areas. Mark was in charge of the lighting work and the wonderful experience with the painting continued throughout the installation of our new fixtures. Mark's crew worked wonders and our home looks like new. Without reservations, we would recommend this company.

First of all they were professional, hard working, and focused. They worked on it until I was personally satisfied. They used top quality paint and did not dilute it at all. The owner is very patient, honest and easy to work with. Their bid was very competitive. I would definitely use them again and would recommend anyone give them a shot at a bid, which in the end they did not exceed when the job was completed. They also built a screened porch and small staircase. Very reasonable and well done. These guys are going to be the best in the area for overall quality and price.

John and his team did a superior and professional job on all they were asked to do. They made this 13 year old home look new again. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially family and friends. The paint used was top quality and was not diluted at all as some painters will do. I enjoyed working with the whole team. They were thorough, hard working, timely and professional. Let them bid, get to know John and you will hire them and be happy you did.

All services were very professional from time of estimate and the actual painting of our home. John and his crew did an outstanding job, used excellent materials and cleaned up very well at the completion of the work. We are very pleased with all of their work and our home looks great.

John and his crew did a great job! From start to finish the project was handled in an extremely professional and courteous manner. John came and provided a free estimate for what I wanted done; then we communicated through email and he was always very prompt in responding to my inquiries. We scheduled the work to be done and they did everything in one day - which was wonderful for me as I was concerned that I'd have to reschedule appointments for multiple days to be home while they painted. So this was a true treat! He had a crew of about 10 painters - which does sound overwhelming to have that many painters in the house at one time - but they were basically invisible. I've had other experiences where painters come; play their music very loud; are very loud; eat in the house; ask to use the microwave (which is all okay) but not this crew. They worked for several hours and were done and were extremely polite. They moved the furniture; filled nail holes (I've had to do this in the past) and then moved it all back and asked before leaving if it was in the right location. They cleaned up after themselves, asking to use a broom - and when they left, you wouldn't have known that many guys were in the house. The rooms looked great! They really did a great job with painting; were very neat; no paint on floors or any other place than where it was intended. John also offers a 10% discount for Angie's List members which was great! Some companies to 10% but cap it at $50 - but John did a full 10% off the total bill. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Simnply outstanding. John, Mark, and Mike all arrived at our house at exactly the time they said they would over several visits to the house. They called before hand each time. The project had to be completed in stages and they stayed in constant contact with us until the project was completed. They were prompt, professional, and friendly. They fixed a problem we have had for several years and for which 2 other companies tried to fix and could not. Their pricing is fair and their estimates are complete and to the point. We are going to hire them for at least three more projects in the mext year. Overall a great experience.

John Caudill came out within a short time after calling him and gave me an estimate to paint all of the wood siding and trim on my otherwise masonry house. After getting a couple of other estimates I contracted with Boerne Painting to do the job. As scheduled, about a week later, a small crew arrived and proceeded to pressure wash and caulk in preparation of painting. The next day several painters completed the job of painting the house in the three colors we had selected. Everything was done in a very workmen like manor to our complete satisfaction. My inspector (wife) approved the job and declared it "beautiful". Overall a very nice experience!

This project went great! It took less time than I expected and the quality of the work was excellent. It was a pleasure working with everyone that helped with this project.

I decided to hire Boerne painting within minutes of meeting John, owner of Boerne Painting. His company was one of two that I was evaluating, and his won out not just on price/value, but on the professionalism with which he portrayed when evaluating the job and providing his estimate. John's team was able to start my job sooner than projected and finished within the agreed time (2 days). The entire crew was punctual, polite, clean and patient. When the job was complete, the foreman and I did a "walk through" to make sure that I was completely satisfied before they left (and I paid for the job). I assure you, I was completely satisfied. In fact, my neighbors have commented on how my home looks new again! I highly recommend John and Boerne Painting and would definitely hire them again.

We have hired Boerne Painting and Remodeling several times to do projects on our house. Each time they have delivered more than promised in terms of workmanship and quality. This time we brought them to help with a bunch of small and medium projects in our house, ranging from adding a shelf to a closet to replacing an window and adding a/c units. Not only did John and his team give us a very reasonable quote (and stick to it!) they are super professional and nice to work with. They worked around our schedule, which is a bit busy and chaotic since our son had recently been born. When they came to give us an estimate they really talked through possibilities with us, not trying to sell on paying more, but actually on ways to do things cheaper - like having them do multiple projects at the same time instead of coming back lots of different times. We always feel like we are in good and honest hands when we hire Boerne Painting and Remodeling. Even before they finished, we started to think about what other projects we might like them to work on for us in the future. It's sort of like having a handyman, contractor, painter, and friend available at all times.

I contacted Boerne Painting & Remodeling on October 2nd for an estimate on painting the exterior of my house based on the good reviews I read on Angie's List. Mr. John Caudill visited my home the next day and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate and I agreed to give Boerne Painting & Remodeling the job. Mr. Caudill was on site to oversee the start of the job the first day. The team, led by a very competent foreman, immediately began scraping off old paint, caulking, and power washing the exterior of my house. They also replaced part of a window frame that had begun to rot due to improper installation by Centex, the builder. After allowing the exterior to dry overnight, the painters, augmented with three additional people to form a complement of six, returned early the next morning and began painting using a high quality Sherwin Williams paint, the gallon remainder of which they left with me after the job was finished. Mr. Caudill was there to ensure that the work commenced on time without any hitches and to answer my questions. After steadily painting all morning, the crew broke for lunch and then resumed the job. By late afternoon they had finished painting and were ready for my to inspect the work. Again, Mr. Caudill was on hand to answer any question I had. The paint job was excellent with only minor touch up required in a few places. After a little spot painting in those places, the work was completed to my complete satisfaction and the crew gathered up their equipment and departed, leaving a clean and tidy job site. They even wheeled my refuse bin into the back yard for me. I wholeheartedly endorse the work done by Boerne Painting & Remodeling and recommend them without reservation for your painting needs.

John was very fair on the price and made sure I was happy before he accepted payment. I highly recommend John and Boerne Painting and will use them again!

Great team of professionals from start to finish.

Don't let the name Boerne fool you. They travel to San Antonio (which is where I live)! Met with John Caudill (owner) to give me an extensive quote on getting the exterior of my home. Mr. Caudill was very professional and punctual. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, detailed and specific. Much of the wood trim needed replaced and Mr. Caudill assured me this could be done with no problem. He made me feel very confident in his companies ability to restore the exterior of my home. His quote actually came in below of what I had anticipated. I certainly recommend this company!

. John came out and gave me a bid. It was higher than the previous one I had but that painter was a no-show twice! John said he would take care of me and make it look nice and he did! It took the five men, all very professional and pleasant, two and one-half days to do an excellent job. They had to lift heavy plants off the porches and always made sure they were put back before leaving so that they were not dinner for the deer! They took care of many "extras" in order to make everything look wonderful! I have told friends this is the company to work with when you want it done well!

Overall the repainting and repair were very well done and i can absolutely say i would use Boerne Paint again or refer the company to friends, family, and neighbors. When I originally contacted the owner, John about an estimate, I reached his voicemail and left a message about what I needed. He promptly returned my call and we setup an appointment for an on site estimate. John was very friendly on the phone and was very wiling to come out according to my schedule, which he did. I had already acquired one estimate previously so i was amazed that John's estimate was within $25. He seemed very knowledgable and experienced and I think i even asked about it and he replied something about his experience and how frequently he and his company perform jobs like mine. He left me a written estimate and I told him i would consider his and the other company's and let him know. I called him about 3 or 4 days later and asked how soon he could begin and how long it would take. He was honest to say they had 2 jobs in front of me but could begin in 2 weeks, probably less and that it would take no more than 2 days. That sounded great since the other company had told me their only opening was the same week as the estimate which left me no time for other estimates and that it would take longer since he (owner) would do all the work himself. I chose Boerne paint and John said he would call me when they were almost finished with the job in front of me. About a week later on a Friday, John called to say there were finishing early on that job and could be at my house by Tuesday since it was forcast for rain all weekend and Monday. As promised, his crew got to my house on Tuesday about lunch and were it not for a slight delay due to my having to run out to get the interior paint, they would have been done in 1.5 days. As it was, it was barely 2 days including the interior work. On the 1st day, they powerwashed the areas to be repainted as well as the brick exterior and even the front and back patio! I had a lot of plants on both porches plus patio furniture and the crew carefully moved everything without complaint or damage to anything and put it all back afterward. It wasn't the way i had originally arranged it but the foreman said if i told him where everything went, he woudl rearrange it. A little paint got on one of my plants and a little on some grass where i think they rinsed their equipment but no harm done and I didn't even mention it to the foreman or owner. On the 2nd day, they painted while i was at work. When I returned, it was late and the crew had left for the day. They had pained all the exterior surfaces except the doors. Since it was raining again i was worried the new paint would run or streak but it did not. I was home on the last day when they arrived to paint the entry doors and interior. I was concerned with the edges of the garage door and had left John, the owner a message to that effect the day before. The crew immediately finished out the garage door edges, gave it a second coat and began working on the entry doors and interior. The foreman on the job was professional and courteous and any concern I had, he addressed. His team was quiet but very diligent in finishing the job which was very refreshing considering the number of contractors we have hired that had teams that stand around, make jokes, or drag out their work day as if they are paid by the hour rather than by completing a job well done. Anyway, John was also on the job the last day and inspected the crew's work both inside and out. He found flaws before I even did and told the foreman to have the crew touch it up or add a second coat to the door. Many contractors are far less honest, punctual, and conscientiousl about the quality of work. We had a few nails in the driveway and on the street where we parked one of our cars but they were from the Christmas light clips on the roof eaves that I asked them to remove. They missed a few but no big deal. I didn't even notice them until after I had paid and they left but I am sure that if I had brought it to John or his foreman's attention before they left, they would have been picked up quickly and cheerfully. Thanks to John and his crew for a job well done! Several neighbors complimented the finished work and I would recommend Boerne Paint for any paint or remodel job.

I know that they were super, super booked and that they couldn’t get to people. That was at the beginning of spring. Every painter was booked because we didn’t have a winter and spring came early. They did call me as soon as they had an opening, but I had hired another company by that time. They actually called me the day my painter was starting. The owner was extremely helpful, and I used his estimate for the people I was interviewing. He actually had the lowest bid of the seven people I was interviewing. I called him when I was interviewing people, and he told me not to accept any bid which was over his. The only reason I did not go with them was because I had already started with another contractor, and I had given him a down payment the day before.

While I usually don't take the low bid on jobs like this, I made an exception for Boerne Painting & Remodeling and I was not disappointed. John, the owner, was very helpful in figuring out the best way to repaint some kitchen cabinets with ugly brush marks left by the previous painter. He took the time to describe in detail how he would accomplish this. He went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied with the result, which was very good. We are trying to get him back for another painting job as soon as he can make it.

I had a deadline for the painting to be finished and they were able to accomodate my deadline. They were very neat and professional.

We were so impressed by the repair work that was done, that we went ahead had them do the remodel in the master bedroom. It turned out great! The team was very knowledgeable and made suggestions that we hadn't thought of. These guys will be the only company we ever call for remodeling or repair.

It was a very positive experience with them. I spent just over a $1000 on their services. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family members.

They were exceptionally qualified and what was particularly important to me was the prep work since there were numerous doors with hardware. They lightly sanded the doors before painting and cleaned the hinges and knobs following the painting. This is the second job they have done for me. The first time, I needed someone to paint my Master Bath walls after a remodel and during the Xmas rush. Because they were able to accomodate my short notice request, I was very happy that they sent someone I could trust to do a good job. I called them again in January to do both the inside and outside trim because I knew they would complete the job to my satisfaction. They took their time to do a very clean job.

John and his guys were very patient in helping me decide on the right color combination choice for the house. They were on time each day and got the job done in approx. 4 days. They paid great attention to detail. I could NOT find any sloppy painting anywhere. They were also very careful of the landscaping around the house. Cleaned up any and all tools and equipment before leaving. Couldn't ask for better. I was very happy with the end result.
