It was really a pleasure working with this company. They did everything we expected and more. Our home is connected to a Rainwater Harvesting System and they taped the downspouts closed so nothing would get in them when we replace our roof in a couple of weeks. They carefully removed our gutters so we could reuse them in another area. Excellent paint job. John and his crew were very easy to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

They were perfect and I only used them that time. The promptness and he was done with the job when I needed it done by and I mean he worked 8 hours to get it done by. They are very clean.

I thought that the clean up was really good and the painters did a good job. My only concern was that their boss should have been present more supervising and the reason for that is I had to do a walk through and clean out things that were pretty obvious. If he would have been there supervising then he would have seen that. They painted over some boards that were supposed to be replaced. Then when they fixed the front porch some of the wood that they replaced was not good wood. Some things like that his crew was trying to get it done but if he was there more present then I wouldn’t have been looking for that.

After the estimate and waiting 2 weeks, I began calling. After days of no response, they finally called me back and said it would be another 2 weeks. Since I was trying to get my house on the market, this was unacceptable to me. I went with another painting company that was great - the Garza brothers from Helotes.

Hired John with Boerne Painting & Remodeling based on the excellent ratings here on Angie's List and were very pleased with everything they did. John is a pleasure working with and I felt he and his team could do anything. I had another bid but quickly dismissed in favor of John's. Everybody arrived on the scheduled day and got busy: pressure washed the house (brick), sanded and primed facia, soffit and garage door. John offered color samples for the exterior painting, and was very helpful with selecting the exterior door I wanted to replace and we ended up purchasing a storm door as well to be installed and he delivered to my house. His carpenter had already prepared everything for the installation; later painted the exterior with the same color as the facia and soffit to match the outside, and the interior of the door with white to match the other doors inside. Sadly, they had to come back the next day to pressure wash a portion of the house that was problematic and had collected more mold due to exposure of rain&humidity, as well as a small problem with the storm door. No big deal though. A week later I called John and requested to pressure wash my driveway; I felt it to be a bit pricey but gave him the job anyway. His guys are great, they did little things for me just because I asked: replaced the old street numbers nailed above the garage door, fixed the gutter which had come loose, tightened the outside faucet that was leaking, replaced the flood light while up on the ladder ... I go across the street and look at my house and it stands out with beautiful paint color and job well done!!

I had an Angie's List deal and they absolutely went overboard when they came out to perform a wonderful job on the first project I hired them for. They were so good I had them come back and paint my whole house. They did an outstanding job and I recommend them to all my neighbors. They also cleaned my house. They did an over the top job and I will use them again in the future.

It has been years that we have thought about closing in our front porch to add more square footage to our house. We kept on thinking about doing it ourselves but never got around to it. We had worked with Boerne Painting and Remodeling before when they painted the outside of our house and had such a great experience that we thought we'd try them again. John and a carpenter came over to the house promptly to give us an estimate and work within our budget. We ended up buying some of the supplies as a way to reduce the cost, which worked really well for us. During the building phase, it turned out that one of the carpenters had to be substituted for another one, which John made sure happened quickly. John did an excellent job of checking in regularly to make sure that everything got done and we were satisfied with the work. Even after the work was done, amazingly John was still available for us when we had a couple questions about the new room (an electrical aspect that seemed to not work and some leaking with the first big rain) and came over within a day to fix them. The room is now done and is a wonderful addition to our house. We highly recommend John and Boerne Painting and Remodeling, and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Didn't start until I had full attention until the job was done -- two and a half days. Craftsmanship was outstanding, house perked up like new instead of droopy like before. Would absolutely use them again, and would be proud to recommend them.

John and his crew did a great job. His workers arrived and went straight to work painting the trim of our two-story house. They were very professional and worked until the job was completed approximately 4 hours. Even though there was extreme weather conditions (heat and wind) John's crew worked fast. They were very careful not to damage my new flower beds, which I really appreciated. John also suggest a different paint color for the ceiling of our front porch (sky blue) to keep the birds from roosting and pooping all over the front porch and the brick. We purchased the paint and they painted it for us. John and my husband did a final walk around our house and John spotted a few things he wanted his worker to fix, which they did promptly. Overall this was a great experience, our house looks great. We will definitely use him again in the future. We are planning on some more remodeling to the inside of our home.

John was a pleasure to work with. He really knows what he is doning when it comes to pleasing the customer. I had an excellent experience from a very professional group of people. John and his crew will deffinately be doing more work for us in the future.

The job went well and the workers were easy to work with. They addressed concerns well and cleaned up well.

Prompt, courteous, adhered to schedule and did an excellent job -- not one paint drip anywhere and no shrubbery, etc. trampled or damaged.

John was really pleasant, setting up the bid and reviewing our requirements. He walked around the exterior of the house, made some suggestions and was on time for the estimate. He left a color wheel for us to make selections and e-mailed the estimate the next day and gave us an estimated day that he could provide the service should we decide to go with his company. I purchased a 'special deal' on Angie's List and received a $250 discount that was applied to the service. (I LOVE to save money!) When they came to finish the job, they were delayed due to traffic, but he kept us informed. The paint job looks great, John was very accomodating and very professional, providing written estimates for the various options I wanted priced. I will definately call them when I'm thinking of painting in the future.

Phenomenal! Very conscientious worker. All his workers were fantastic! He hires quality workers to do a quality job. Very personable and a perfectionist!

I initially saw a coupon on Angie's list about a discount on house painting. We have been wanting our older house (built around 1920) painted for a few years now, especially since our inspector when we first moved in said this would help the house last longer by sealing in the exterior boards. I called John at Boerne Painting and Remodeling and left a message asking for a free estimate. He called me back that same day and arranged to come out the following day. He was incredibly professional and as his first Angie's list customer reduced his price from $2900 to $1000 for his team to caulk, fix boards around the house, and paint the entire house. I was amazed when the work began because I hadn't realized how thorough the work would be. They caulked every single piece of siding, on the top and bottom, and fixed multiple different areas that needed replacement of work or was missing trim. Their work with the construction looks very professional and they also had suggestions for painting trim that I hadn't thought of, that really improves the way our house looks. I paid an additional $75 for wood and spray paint for the iron work, but everything else was included in the original price. We had a little problem with the paint color, as it didn't look the same in the can as on the house. Yet this was really easily resolved as they loaded the paint in my car and Home Depot tweaked the color for free. It was great to be a part of the experience and see the changes in our house. They also painted the iron work on our porch which has really rejuvenated the entire front. They completed the entire painting project within three days. Today the house looks amazing! We have gotten a lot of comments from family and friends, and feel like we have gotten a whole new place. We liked our house before, but now we're so much more content with coming home. We have already recommended them to other people and are thinking about remodeling projects to work with Boerne Painting and Remodeling.

John arrived with his workers and started right to work. They did all they stated they would do and more without additional charges. They painted the house in a professional manner. When they finished they replaced all items back where they were removed from. His helpers were very professional. This is an excellent business with a very professional owner.

All around great experience. We will definitely call on these guys again.

I called to get an estimate. John came out and told me how much it would cost, what paint he would use and how the process would go and time frame (weather permitting). John took a step by step approach. Starting with the house he power washed and took paint chips to match the colors, after a couple of days to let the house dry throughly he caulked all cracks and gaps to get a tight seal and came back the next day after the caulk had time to cure to paint. After painting he asked me to walk the house and find any spots that may need attention. The only issue I had was that the sides of the trim boards were painted with the base color of the house instead of the trim board color (darker), John happily took his brush and painted the sides of the trim boards. It was tedious work since the surface was only about half an inch wide but I watched in amazement while he did it free hand!! (that was impressive to me, no mistakes) One other thing that came up was the small window pane frames in our French doors, this apparently was not part of the quote but when I mentioned it John understood my point of view and just did it. Communication: I remember that one day John was scheduled to come out it rained the previous night. I knew he would not come out since the deck was wet but he called anyway to let me know that he would be out in a day or two once the deck had time to dry completely. I did not have to assume, he put my mind at ease knowing what his plan was. I have to say that I was a bit worried about having someone else paint my house because I am militant when it comes to detail and have dealt with contractors that I have to fight every step of the way but I was relieved by Johns willingness to work with me and the fact that he "took care of me" on those questionable issues. I go the feeling that he was genuinely concerned that I was happy with every aspect of the process. I told John to put me on his schedule in advance to re-stain my decks next year and to paint my house in 5. No question John will be handling all of my painting needs in the future.
