Outstanding job! The guys were fast efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

We had a half hour review of the work to be done with Johnny Garcia and scheduled for the next day. The crew of three arrived on time and worked steady through the morning. I am very pleased with the work performed. Everyone with Blades of Glory was professional, polite, courteous, and good workers.

I contacted through email, messages, and phone calls. I was told that the owner was very busy doing estimates but if I sent pictures he would get back to me and provide an estimate. The first time I tried this apparently the pictures did not go through, but I wasn't notified untiil I tried to follow up about the lack of an estimate. So, I sent them again and was told that they received the pictures and would get back to me. That was weeks ago, and still no call or other contact giving me the estimate - in fact, no contact at all telling me the status of the request. This is unfortunate since I used this contractor over a year ago to do work in my front and back yards and they were very responsive and did good work. Perhaps success has led to horrible service and responsiveness? Needless to say I am no longer interested in working with this contractor and will not respond to any contacts attempted in the future; here are simply too many other contractors available for a job like this and there is no reason to be ignored completely by a business owner. This has been a very frustrating experience - especially from a contractor that is apparently well-rated by Angie's list. Perhaps that overall rating needs to be adjusted.

Because of the rain it was hard to get it scheduled. There was some language difficulty with the workers, unfortunately I don't speak Spanish. They were fast and efficient, hauled everything away when they were done and cleaned up great. .

Johnny?and the Blades of Glory team did a fantastic job. The price was right, the quality of the various installations was great and working with Johnny was a pleasure. The multi-row?cave stone edging is a work of art! I'll be working with Johnny and his team again on landscaping around the pool. and in the back yard.

The price was very good for the quality of the work. They were very careful to use jackhammers to dig enough rock out so the trees would establish well. All trees and shrubs made it through a harsh summer. Communication was very good and flexible to make some last minute adjustments. I have used this company for large landscaping jobs two years in a row and would use them again.

Once we purchased a coupon it took them a long time to get out to our house probably about a month. Once they got here the price went way up and they left a bunch of mulch at our house.

I had purchased a Big Deal but due to the demand, it took about a month before the work could be completed. After the initial consultation which took place after three weeks, I was told it would take another 3 weeks before the crew could actually do the work but happily they found an earlier opening so that they were able to do the job about a month after purchase. Somehow the crew didn't have the right address and showed up two hours late. When the crew did show up, they worked on the areas that I had asked them to do. It wasn't easy in the heat with thorny bushes so I can understand their need to take frequent breaks. Some on the crew worked very diligently, others a little less so. Overall, they did a good job. I was charged for more time than what they actually worked (maybe they didn't factor in the late start time) but I had noted the time when they came and left and when I let them know the discrepancy, they changed the charge to more accurately reflect the actual time worked. Also, take note if you purchase a Big Deal that there is an additional charge for hauling away any debris. It is in small print on the Big Deal so don't be surprised by the additional charge. I paid $1204.88 total --$599 big deal plus $424.88 extra time and haul away charges. In the end, it wasn't a Big Deal in the sense that you save anything ... the charge was consistent with another's company bid.I went with Blades of Glory because I thought I would be saving money. I should have gone with the other company because in the end I paid the full price that I would have with the other company and the other company's bid included more work performed plus they would have completed the job 3 weeks earlier. But you live and learn. Blades of Glory does get the job done but you need to go into it realizing that in the hot sun only so much work can get done, be mindful of when the crew starts and stops, and get a firm understanding of the price and everyone will be happy.

Since I previously had work done through this company I didn't hesitate to hire them again. I cannot share enough praises for their work and their ethics. The company does quality work with the goal of customer satisfaction. I continue to call this company for all my landscaping needs.

Johnny was extremely prompt and professional. He walked the area with me in person, let me know what his ideas were, and gave me an extremely detailed line-item listing of total costs for the project. He was very forthcoming on changes to the pricing as needed and gave me the chance to approve or not. I am extremely happy with my beautiful new lawn, I would have no reservations recommending him to anyone!

They were on time, professional, did a nice job, yard still looks great. Prices were very good and they did a nice job on clean up afterwards.

Johnny Garcia was very responsive and his crew did a great job. I had no experience with landscaping so I relied on him given the restraints of the budget and my desire to have low maintenance plants. It cost more than I had originally planned but did not deviate from the estimate. This was "Stage 1" and I would not hesitate to call Johnny again when I am ready for "Stage 2".

The company was great. Very responsive. Timely phone calls. Very willing to work with me. Actually I was disappointed I didn't get to work with them.

First received a visit from the owner, Johnny, who discussed my project with me and help me set a realistic expectation about what could be accomplished in 4 hours (per the deal I purchased), and what the rate would be if I went over. Later someone called and we got on their schedule. In the end the amount of hours was right on. I was so pleased with the work that I added on some extra things, which they stayed and completed. Work staff was very diligent and hard working, everyone was pleasant and professional. I plan to call them back next spring to do my back yard! I highly recommend Blades of Glory.

It didn't go because I would never do business with a company that operates this way.

Great - Johnny Garcia came when he said and sent me an estimate within a few days and then performed the work about two weeks EARLY. The job was done correctly and there was no damage to any of our landscape plants. He emailed to check how well the job was performed. Would absolutely use him again.

Absolutely great, not only were they on time but they were early. Extremely professional and answered all of our questions.

It took forever to get the provider out to my home to start the project. When we finally discussed the job, he wanted to charge a fortune for the lighting, so we decided to cancel the work and find another company. After cancelling the bid, I called the provider to have him back to pick up stuff he left around the yard, and it took about a month for him to do that I actually had to leave it in the front yard in a pile until he made it here.

Excellent. I really enjoyed working with Johnny who did the estimate as well as the work.

They were punctual, professional, and did an awesome job. I would recommend them to anyone!!! Cost was about $800 total for 15 hours of landscaping, 30 min of consultation to interview me on what I wanted, and brush haul away.

Very polite office staff, reliable and on time. They had helpful planning ideas.

No problems with the company but we are selling a house and were not able to schedule the work within our desired deadline

It went great. Johnny is personable, professional and eager to please. His crew worked quickly, efficiently and got everything done in much less time that I anticipated. Believe me, the 15 manhours that were included in the special accomplished a great deal more that I had even imagined.

However due to scheduling issues, I am seeking a refund from Angie's List. I may use in the future.
