Description of Work: Removed all large, overgrown bushes, shrubs. Installed border of limestone and bricks (cut to size to lie on top of 4" limestone - mortered in place). Prepared soil & weed block for new plantings, planted 14 new bushes & flowers, made matching limestone/brick planting area (an on-sight request for an empty spot on opposite side of sidewalk, enlarged circle around existing tree in front yard, mulched all, performed several extra requests with a smile. They worked hard and well. The only thing they should work on is communication - they are great when called, but slow to pick up the phone to initiate a conversation about possible changes during the planning process. Love the final result!

Description of Work: The sodded my front year which is very small. They provided ideas for types of shrubs to plant and the type of grass would do best in shade. There were a few small things that I asked them too do which they did not. I think for what I paid attention to the minor things is important. I have a very small front yard so even with the "big deal" I had to pay for the plants and grass which all together was over $500 and over $1000 total. The owner was very professional but they do not have a way to pay electronically.

Description of Work: Trim landscaping, removed a few plants, mulched an area that really needed help, mowed and edged.

Description of Work: Cleaned grass and trash from 2 large and one small flower bed. Did not get all the grass out of any of the beds. They seemed to work hard, but not very effective.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal for landscaping for approx. 612.00. Blades of Glory came out on Feb 12th and said they could do the entire job we needed for the price of the big deal. We scheduled service for the 16th. The morning they were supposed to work it was raining hard. We tried to call before they arrived to reschedule but no one answered our call or called us back. When the team arrived, the "foreman" told us that they could go ahead and work in the rain but they would not be able to provide the same quantity or quality of service that they would be able to provide if it were a decent weather day. My husband Andy gave him a choice as to whether to reschedule the job for a better day or return to the job to touch-up whatever they could not finish in the allotted time due to weather conditions. The foreman chose to reschedule. Later that day we received an "updated" estimate from Blades of Glory telling us that our first estimate was incorrect and that we would "actually" need 3 additional manhours and have to pay a haul off/dump fee in addition to the 612.00 we paid for the Big Deal. This would have amounted to an additional charge of at least $300! NO! This is either a HUGE bait and switch OR an act of trying to make the customer pay for weather conditions, which is a part of their business they have to deal with. Either way, I don't want to do business with this company because they are dishonest and not trustworthy.

Description of Work: Completely cleaned out and trimmed my foundation beds. Excellent job provided by on time, professional workers!

Description of Work: Purchased a coupon for man hours to re-do a flagstone pathway. Was so impressed with them that I had them also replace all our mulch. They scheduled for the same week and got it all done in just 2 days. Nice work!

Description of Work: Extensive weeding of large rose garden...digging new flower beds...purchase and installation of manynew plans and shrubs, installation of weed guard and final toping of mulch in the new flower beds.

Description of Work: After discussing the project in our back yard and what we wanted, he came up with some good ideas of his own. The project was started and after a few changes that came up, that they quickly corrected, the project was finished to our liking. Would use again. Our back yard looks great.

Description of Work: They used existing rocks from the property to create the retaining walls for landscape. Created a 2 car parking place using crushed granite. Everything is how we wanted it to look! Love it!
