Description of Work: Removed a section of a grass area that would not grow grass and replaced it with 6 shrubs. Dug out top layer of turf, laid in weed retardant barrier and applied mulch. They also trimmed some of a large tree to allow more sun to a grassy area. And, they trimmed a large hedge. The area after their work was cleaned and all debris was removed. Good job.

Description of Work: Landscaped back fence area. Had another company put in drip irrigation which was additional 500+ cost. All completed same two days. Johnny is very personable and tries to make a plan that matches your likes and concerns - I had a list of plants I knew I liked and areas that I wanted height for privacy as well as a desire for a colorful view. He incorporated most of those into our plan. My negatives are that unlike some other companies, he did not do the HOA approval and since I had to have specific things FROM him FOR the HOA, that process became lengthy causing delays in being able to begin. Coupling that with Johnnys extremely busy schedule in May/June it put us into July and the beginning of the scorching period for my new plants. All four of my knockout rose bushes dropped their leaves the first couple of days despite watering and drip irrigation - I was able to save one of the bushes by babying it a lot, but the other three were in direct sun for almost the full day and completely died. I purchased replacement bushes and put them in myself last week since he doesn't guarantee the plants. The other 24 plants/bushes/trees are all looking great. Butterflies and hummingbirds are coming to my yard and I enjoy having something pretty to look at back there.

Description of Work: They came in and did some cleanup around my yard and it was excellent. They were fast and very efficient.

Description of Work: They cleared out some shrubs and stuff on my land. 2 workers were late and stood around a lot, then took a longer lunch. The owner explained they were a new company and the 2 were new. The one person worked his rear off and knew they could have done more if his coworkers worked as a team.

Description of Work: My experience with Blades of Glory was great! We had a very short time table to get our yard into shape as we decided at the last minute to have an outdoor party at our home. We needed to clean up the weeds in the back, spread multiple cubic yards of mulch, install river rock and add crushed granite to existing paths. Johnny at Blades of Glory was able to work our job into his busy schedule and meet our deadline. The weed removal portion of the job especially exceeded my expectations. The company is very professional, courteous and a joy to work with! I highly recommend them...

Description of Work: 4 LED outdoor lights in my backyard; also took my stone pavers and dug further down to place them in my granite pathway that goes around the house. | |They always do a good job. I have used this person before and his work is excellent.

Description of Work: They gave my backyard landscaping a fresh new look. My schedule prevented me from maintaining my yard and they did an amazing job in only one day. Everyone was very professional and very friendly. The owner came out as scheduled and gave great suggestions.
