I received excellent service from Rudy. Some trim had to be replaced while some just needed to be cleaned up and filled. Afterwards he painted to match the wood to match the surrounding paint. Rudy was very courteous, respectful and cleaned up after the project was completed. I thought the price was fair (discussed prior to scheduling). my appointment was made quickly, the handyman showed up as established. I would definitely use Handyman Matters for my next project.

Work was excellent. It rained really hard that evening and there was a slight leak. The person who installed the door came back the next day to check it out. There have been no other concerns. Good job.

John completed the work effectively and within the planned timeframe. Arrived on time. Was very good about answering questions.

Brent showed up on time as scheduled. He worked steadily for 3 1/2 hours assembling the 14 foot trampoline and mounting a basketball goal atop our garage. The trampoline was a challenge but he put it together unassisted. I provided minimal assistance with the basketball goal. Overall I'd say Brent did a nice job and I would certainly use Handymen Matters again.

The first person that was sent out was not able to complete the job because of the size of the job but they quickly sent out another team and the work was completed in one day! I couldn't believe it. They did a great job.

Nightmare!! I give this company an F- rating. Diagnostics took several hours. Man took about 5 hours to determine how the porch fans worked & should be installed. He took another 5 hours to determine our light switches were bad even though he told me this at the beginning and then again at the end of the lengthy diagnostics. I had informed the company we were going on a BD one week trip & needed the job done before our trip or finished after our return. Even though this was agreed to at the beginning the accountant harassed me on my trip for payment. She asked for a tiny bit less than the estimate given so I postponed her a day while I visited with family & conferred with my husband who negotiated the job. I told her I had not even received an invoice & she stated I had not requested one. This is because the job was not done & I did not expect to be harassed about payment before the agreed time. She stated we had added several items to the list of things to be done. In fact, we deleted installing lights in our garage and we did add the installation of one more fan. She called again & I gave her my CC. I needed to stop the harassment & enjoy my BD visiting family trip. The handyman told us this lady does this without consulting the man doing the job. We all agreed we did not add several items to the To-do list. Bottom line - we used this company before & it was great. Only negative was he did not clean up after himself. When I told the company about this a woman stated most clients did not want to pay for what they could do themselves. I called this company twice about another job & they did not return my call. Several weeks later I was called & told I had fallen through the cracks. OK. So I booked them for this nightmarish job. We own our home in Boerne & we have very good credit rating. We had agreed to pay after the job was done. The company knew of my upcoming trip. The harassment for payment was totally uncalled for. The handyman need to be more experienced and spend reasonable time in diagnostics of the installation of porch fans and faulty light switches. And, we requested an invoice for the 1st payment and after waiting one week we called again & finally received the invoice for the money. This company can't wait for payment but will not issue invoices until they get repeated requested to do so.

From the initial phone call to set up an appointment to the completion of the job, the company was outstanding. Dale showed up at the scheduled appointment time and was extremely professional, competent and courteous. Dale was very professional at all times and definitely new he was doing. The job was completed that same day and was better than I expected. Dale's attention to detail was excellent. I highly recommend Handyman Matters!

Phillip did an excellent job. He arrived on time given the traffic conditions and communicated exactly what he was going to do prior to starting the job. He was a fast worker. My estimate was slightly less than what I ended up paying (1/2 hour of work) but that was due to the extra mile Phillip went to repair the damage. he could have just filled the gaps and made it looks aesthetically spotty. Instead, he went above and completely redid the sides to make sure the aesthetics were as pleasing and matching as possible. I'm glad I found a company who is reputable, performs quality work they care about and does so at a very good price. I would not hesitate to call them for any jobs, even more specialized jobs like electricity and plumbing.

I made an appointment with Handyman matters and they sent out Phillip Gardner was was excellent. He took the time to evaluate the problem and explain my options making sure I knew how things would work. He was very professional and made sure my interests and questions were fully taken care of. He also helped with a couple items that I had no originally requested which was very beneficial. He helped me find a leak on roof exhaust which was more serious than I thought previously. He also gave me some advice on how I could proceed on a plumbing issue. He wasn't trying to push sales, but genuinely wanted to help me solve my problems which was greatly appreciated. I will happily call Handyman Matters again.

The provider was prompt and professional arriving as scheduled. The work went quickly enough and seemed complete. Later that evening we discovered a small oversight. The oversight in the initial setup was not a big deal (simple human error as common as misplacing reading glasses). The provider responded immediately and took care of the issue. I was impressed that a special trip was made to fix this detail and in the end they probably provided more service than I had contracted going out of their way to make sure all systems were working. Overall a very positive experience and I would use the provider again.

Doug and his guys are true professionals and complete each job with competence and expertise . The guys are reliable and stay focused the entire time while working. I am very happy with their service and will definitely continue to utilize their services.

Provider was responsive courteous and punctual. The quote was excessive. By comparison I awarded this work to another local contractor on Angie's List for approximately a third of their estimate.

He also hung the cabinets at a lower place so it was much easier to reach items.

We had used Doug and his crew at our past home for several projects and have always liked working with them. When we moved into our new home in Fair Oaks, we needed to replace the ceiling fan in our vaulted ceiling Family Room. So of course I called Doug. They were prompt in scheduling the work & it was done well and at a fair price. Doug and his crew are not only professional but also very personable and thorough in their work. We had to wait to do this part two of my request because of all the rain. Doug was extremely knowledgeable and professional while doing this project. He did excellent prep work to ensure paint did not get on the house, including the siding as well as on the grass. This was an extremely tedious job and I'm extremely pleased with the outcome. Dave definitely educated me on all the preventive measures that probably need to be done in the future, such as painting the back portion of the house which gets excessive sun. He also indicated the needed to caulk some of the areas on my deck to prevent water seepage into the house. I will definitely use Doug again.

Handyman Matters fit me into their schedule as I needed to have items done before some landscape adjustments to the back yard were to be completed. Juan was excellent and surveyed all the things I wanted to have done in priority order. We jointly agreed on what could be done on this day and what would be best to do on another day. He purchased the work materials. He accomplished all the items listed above. He also gave me some recommendation on other items that could be done on a future visit by Handyman Matters. The owner came by on several occasions to survey the work. This is a very hands on organization. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I was contacted by Handyman Matters due to my request via messaging regarding a free estimate for "molding" fixture repair. We discussed my request for an estimate and the appointment was scheduled over the phone for late afternoon. The technician arrived promptly and evaluated my request for repairing molding surrounding my tub fixture. He indicated that because they charge by the hour, if I had other work for him to do, it would be best as my request could be completed in 15 mins. I agreed and indicated other minor items plus he suggested I purchase the materials. He provided and estimate and left with the understanding I would schedule the work after picking up the small molding from Home Depot. I received a call from a customer service rep a few business days later stating "I sent a technician to do work and he didn't because he gave you an estimate"...I replied, yes, thats what I requested. The rep stated "That's a waste of time as they could have been on other jobs rather than providing estimates." The job will cost more now due to "not getting it done that day". I replied, "I'm wasting your time by having the technician provide what I requested?". The rep replied, "yes, he was ready to do the job" I said no he wasn't he didnt have any materials and requested I get them, and since it would be quick he could do other jobs within the hour." She stated, no, it will be a different price as on the "estimate." Due to the unprofessional manner in which they chose to communicate and changing of price after verbally providing a quote. They didn't deserve my business and I no longer wanted their service. I indicated I would get service from another business.

I was completely happy with them. They were right on time. I really appreciated that and got the job done within a reasonable amount of time. I was very happy with them.

In the initial phone conversation they agreed to review inspection items from our home purchase and make an estimate. After going to the trouble to put together the email package and two subsequent follow up calls, we never received an estimate. Had the work done by another provider.
