They did a great job on all 4 projects. The driveway was especially good because it matched up to the main driveway well which has a steep driveway down to the house. They created curbs on the end and side of the parking pad to prevent vehicles from going over. The shed pad was perfectly level and the shed company has no issue with putting the shed on the pad.

We had Dave (the owner) come out and give us a quote to add a semi-circle driveway to our home in Terrell Hills. He gave us a full written and itemized quote that I thought was very price competitive based on quotes we received from other contractors. I knew I wanted a semi circle driveway but I wasn't exactly sure about the specifics and Dave worked with me to come up with a functional design that complemented our front yard and was also able to adequately fit our vehicles. He did have a month of lead time before he could begin work but he handled all of the design and permitting aspects of the job for us before he began. He and his crew showed up exactly when he said they would and completed the work in an efficient manner without tearing up my entire front yard in the process. He even was able to pull up some of the sod/grass before he bulldozed and put it down elsewhere in our yard where the grass had died over the winter! We had multiple ugly tree stumps in our front yard, two of which were in the path of the driveway, so he rented a stump grinder and removed ALL of the stumps in our yard (including the ones that weren't in the path of the driveway) without charging us extra for labor! The job took about 5 days in total to complete and the craftsmanship of the driveway was great and he did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards so that we didn't have rocks, dirt, or excess cement lying around our yard. He absolutely went above and beyond our expectations and I would highly recommend him.

I wish all contractor experiences could be as pleasant as this one. Mr. Barr is so pleasant and professional, and does everything he says he's going to! Abarrco did an exceptional job at a fair price. I would highly recommend Abarrco Contracting, and definitely use them again.

I would use them if I had more money.

David Barr (owner) was very responsive and came out the same day I called to develop an estimate. He was very open and honest with what he would recommend we do and how he would go about it. All the ideas put forward were very good and, with minor adjustments based on my input, we decided to move forward with Abarrco Contracting for the job at an agreeable price. All work was performed as planned and the job was completed as scheduled. David had a very qualified and experienced crew to work the fairly large concrete pour and all the concrete pouring and finishing was completed in one day. The finished product is excellent and makes the back of the house look so much nicer now. Clean up of the form material and other work required after the concrete was poured was completed the next day. Payment was one-third up front, one third when concrete was poured and one third upon job completion and was discussed up front (no surprises).

Original bid was lower than expected. Owner came to me the next day and advised he had made a mistake and did not include the price of the concrete in the bid. I felt it is was an honest mistake (he showed me how he made the mistake in his journal) and even with the added cost the bid was fair. The workmanship was excellent. The owner was the on site doing the work every day. He and his crew worked hard to get the job done. He was very nice and easy to work with. He said I would be happy with the final product and I was....

Mr. David Barr is a man of his word. He gave me an estimate and before the scheduled day he called me to ensure the job was still on. After realizing the old patio cover was damaged and needed a tear down he arranged it so his crew would do that. They cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. Once that was done he dug out the grass , removed a tree, and added the base mentioned above. Then as mentioned above they continued to frame and lay the re-bar and attach the re-bar to my home foundation. The size of the entire patio after all was done was 46 x 16 slab . (pouring over a smaller older slab - but the old slab concrete was in good condition)! It was a lot of work to do with the days being very hot. Thank YOU God for the huge tree for shade in my backyard. He did everything mentioned above and he always finished the task in a professional way. He cleaned up and his crew was very respectful. I would definitely use this company again . He was fair and all of them have great work ethics. Thank you so much David Barr or Abarrco Construction & Contracting.
