We had three electrical outlets that were at the 36and quot; level due to some old cabinets we have removed. I called Cowtown Wirenuts and they came out the same day. Josh quickly determined the best solution and quickly did the work. He did a perfect job and left the area clean. Thanks Josh. The owner, Ernie, was polite and a pleasure to work with. I would hire this company again in a minute.

Called and left a message. The call was returned the same day, scheduling an appointment for the next day. The gentleman appeared promptly as promised and completed all the work in about an hour. The gentlman was professional and amswered all of my questions clearly.

The technician was very knowledgeable and took his time with determining what our issues were. It took some time, but he found the problem and corrected. I asked questions about other things around the house and he was able to answer and point me in the right direction. When I decide to get the other work done, I will call the WireNuts.

Ernie was very prompt, professional and nice. My house was built in 1956 and still had the old tiny 60 amp panel. Ernie changed it to a 200 amp and explained what else needed to be done to get my old house up to code. He was informative but not pushy. My sons bottomless sand box had to be moved to access the electrical area which left sand piles where the sand box previously was, I came home from work and went out to put the sand box and sand back and Josh, the assistant had already done it. Very nice! (And he is pretty cute too!) I will recommend and use Cowtown Wirenuts again.

Mr. Register was very professional in the way he spoke to me. When I explained that I am a teacher and that places a restriction on when I can be available for home repairs, he said he could come out today, Saturday, and take care of the light fixture. He informed me that he would be out within two hours and would call me when he was ten minutes away. He did exactly what he said he would do. Also, I didn't have the right lights for the fixture and he gave me that information, too. I knew what I needed to buy and bought my lights at Home Depot. He also explained to me that the new light fixture wouldn't be as bright as my original one, but that was okay with me. I did have some questions about home generators and he took the time to explain that to me, too. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Cowtown Wire Nuts.

This company offered a prepaid deal. They were very punctual and professional. When they arrived, I discovered they knew my dad, who was a general building contractor for over 50 years. If my dad used them regularly, that was enough to tell me they were a good company.

Ernie (owner) arrived with a helper on time. He quickly understood the scope of the work that was to be done, and left his helper to perform the task. I had some outlets added and one removed and a light switch moved. The total time spent at my house was at least 2 1/2 hours but they didn't charge me for the extra time spent (much appreciated). My only negative experience was that the light switched they moved didn't work properly once moved. He said it was due to old parts (the switch itself). But he didn't have any switches on him, so it would require going to the hardware store to buy one which would end up taking another hour thus costing me the regular rate for an hour. Since my husband is handy, he ended up installing the new switch himself the next day. It just seems to me that an electrician would have switches on hand. It seems like a common part to me - but maybe it's not. Its just hard for me to pay an electricians rate for travel time to and from the hardware store. That being said, I am using them again on another project in my living room this week. Ernie is easy to work with and can take electrical terms and explain it to the layperson. He is also respectful to women - which I have not always found when working with some men.

Overall it was a very satisfying performance, which removed lots of my honey-do's and impressed my wife with the results!!! Good job!!!

I purchased a great deal for $99 on Angie's List to have two hours of electrical work done. Ernie responded to my email immediately and was at my house the next day. He diagnosed the problem with my exposed electrical wire and quickly fixed the problem. He was great to my two slobbery dogs and he actually gave me a free outlet cover at no charge and quot;because I have one with a little paint on it in my truck.and quot; Excellent service!

Out-door porch light was installed within minutes of recieving the estimate. Very well satisfied with the service I recieved. I am glad I found him on Angie'sLlist.

I found Cowtown Electric on Angie's list with 3 others. Ernie was the only one that answered the first call. 1st told me the job was too small and he would let me know in a couple of weeks when he had time to take a look at my project. 2nd took 2 days to come and meet with me and his price was way too high. 3rd was a nice guy but his price was also too high. Ernie showed up on time when he said he would. Gave me a fair price and could get the work done the next day. He and a helper did all the work I ask and also another project my wife added at the last min. He was helpful with additional suggestions for other issues I had. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Ernie is great. He quick, neat and thorough. He knows what he is doing. Friendly and professional. On time always. Recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work. It is nice to know that someone can come to your home and you know the work will be done correctly and efficiently. With cost of services going up, he is reasonable. He has also done work for my company.

Ernie came out as scheduled and stayed almost all day. Ernie explained everything and kept the details in simple terms so my wife could understand. Ernie never tried to sell me or upgrade me and I felt like he was 100% honest and the work was of the highest quality. Ernie was not the cheapest but the quality of work and his knowledge match the value of his services. Honest, Ethical and Organized is how I can best describe this company.

He was conscientous in tracking down the problem and fixing it. My renter said he was good about explaining the problem and easing her mind.
