The owner of the company came out to our house that we were selling to inspect the electrical. He gave us really good advise and then asked where we were moving to. He said that he knew the neighborhood well. I am so glad that I use someone that knows the area that I live in. It is hard to find a service provider that you trust.

I purchased the Big Deal for 2 hours of electrical work for $99. Before I purchased, I contacted Cowtown Electric to inquire about the approximate time typically needed to complete my job and ensure they served my area. Cowtown Electric was able to schedule my job for a time that worked best for me. The electrician showed up on-time for the appointment and finished the job within the 2 hours time slot. He was both personable and professional. I was more than pleased with the entire process. From the first call until the job was done, I received nothing but excellent service at a reasonable price. I did not feel like I was being sold extra services that I did not need. In comparison, I had the same job quoted on-site by Milestone Electric. I felt that I was being sold a package for something I didn't need. Milestone quoted approximately $450 for the same job, even with me providing the fan myself. Part of the job required going into the attic crawl space - the Milestone electrician made me feel that it was an extra hassle and would likely cost more than the quoted high amount since it may take more time than a standard installation. I want to make a point with the comparison because I felt none of these things with Cowtown. The Cowtown electrician didn't hesitate to go into the attic, cut a small part of the drywall to fit the new fan, clean up after the job was done, complete all paperwork - and still, all was done within the 2 hour window. I would definitely recommend Cowtown Electric to others.

They did a good job. The only complaint is on the ceiling fan, they left a piece out. The fan works fine without it but the piece was to cover they ceiling hole so it would have been nice to have it installed. We used the Angie deal for $99 for 2 hours of service so it was an awesome deal.

I SAW THE AD ON ANGIE'S LIST FOR 2HOURS OF ELECTRICAL WORK OFFERED BY COWTOWN WIRE NUTS ELECTRICAL COMPANY AND THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT DEAL! I LOOKED AT THEIR WEB SITE AND SAW THEY DID HOME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS TOO! JUST WHAT I NEEDED SINCE I'VE HAD THIS 32and quot; HDTV FOR SOMETIME AND FINALLY BOUGHT THE WALL MOUNT AND LOW PROFILE SHELF TO HANG MY UVERSE RECEIVER AND BLURAY PLAYER. I SPOKE TO ERNIE AND AGREED TO A 930AM START BUT JOSHUA CALLED AND SAID HE WOULD BE HERE BY 940AM INSTEAD. I SAID IT WAS OKAY SINCE I WAS WAITING FOR HIM. HE PROCEEDED TO FIX MY CLOSET LIGHT, THEN ASKED WHERE I WANTED THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET AND I SHOWED HIM. AFTER HE FINISHED THAT, I WAS TELLING HIM WHERE I WANTED THE WALL BRACKET AND HDTV ATTACHED TO THE WALL. HE SAID HE and quot;WASNT TOO EXPERIENCED WITH THISand quot; BUT WOULD FIGURE IT OUT. I THOUGHT THIS WAS STRANGED SINCE THEY ADVERTISED THAT THEY DID THIS WORK! BUT JOSHUA DID FIGURE IT OUT AND ATTACHED BOTH THE WALL BRACKET AND HDTV. IT WAS NOW COMING CLOSE TO THE 2HOUR MARK. HE TOLD ME THEY CHARGE $99.00 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR AND I SAID SINCE HE WAS HERE ALREADY, HE MIGHT AS WELL FINISH WITH HANGING-UP THE LOW PROFILE SHELF. I ALSO ASKED HIM ABOUT REMOVING MY BLURAY PLAYER IN THE LIVING ROOM TO PUT INTO THIS GUEST BEDROOM. HE SAID JUST MOUNTING THIS SHELF WOULD BE ABOUT THE FULL HOUR. WHEN THE HOUR WAS ALMOST UP, HE CAME TO TELL ME ABOUT A MISSING BRACKET FOR THE GLASS SHELF. WE LOOKED AROUND BUT COULD NOT FIND IT. BUT HE HADNT EVEN STARTED ON MOUNTING THE WALL SHELF AND STILL CHARGED ME! SO I ENDED UP PAYING AN EXTRA $110.00 FOR LABOR AND PARTS BUT HE DIDNT EVEN DRILL HOLES TO MOUNT THE SHELF - SO WHAT WAS HE DOING DURING THE EXTRA HOUR??? I PAID HIM BUT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED, MISSING BRACKET OR NOT!!! I called Ernie, the owner, who came by today and corrected the mistakes from the previous day's experience.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out great. He was nice, he was polite, he was very informative, he did exactly what he said he was going to do, and if I needed an electrician again, I would call him. He did an excellent job. There was a storm on the first day that he was supposed to come out and he called us to tell us that he couldn't come out, and then it rained so he couldn't come out, but he came out on the first clear day. He explained everything to us step by step.We paid extra because we had him do extra work.

I purchased a big deal from them and they never called me. We settled on a time of 11 am. They called at 10:40 and stated that it would take 40 minutes to get there.

Replaced my electrical panel, removed a smaller panel that was not being used, moved my whole house surge protecter worked most of the day. Professional, good clean-up. Also had them replace 4 outlets. Later bought another big deal for $99 for 2 hours work, replaced a can light and removed 2 old smoke detectors which were hardwired to the house electrical system. Spent quite a bit of time trying to find the wiring to a outside outlet which doesn't work, have had another electrician be not nearly as thorough trying to find the problem. Would definitely use again!

He asked for my email address and never emailed me a quote. Frankly, I found it disturbing that he brought his daughter with him - as though she were a bodyguard or watchdog. He explained that she was with him so that they could get her driver's license. He could have done that on his time, not mine. A person takes a chance any time a stranger is called to do work on a home. Bringing someone extra really is unsettling. I would not recommend this business to anyone I know.

The workman (sorry, can't remember his name) was very nice and professional. Explained my options and did the work efficiently. My only complaint, and the only reason he didn't get a perfect score was that he found a 2x4 where I wanted the light switch. I would have preferred he just cut through the 2x4 (it was not load bearing) but instead, he shifted the light switch to one side. So now, the closet is wired like I wanted it, but the switch isn't centered where I wanted it. I accept part of the blame for it since I didn't specify exactly where the switch should go but I would have preferred he ask me what I wanted to do before moving it. Other than that, he did a great job and I would definitely recommend and use him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. Initially, it wasn't as positive as we had hoped because the gentle they sent over, although they claimed that he has been with them for years, was really slow and was unable to really offer me alternatives. We asked him to put in some electric boxes for cabinet lighting and he put it too close so we couldn't use it and he put the other on the only place he said he could put it. When we called them, they did come back out and the supervisor fixed it rather quickly. He said that for each box, it was an hour so we ended up having to pay 2 extra hours when I only agreed to one. I paid an additional $214. They got the appointment really quickly and they arrived when they said they would. They did correct their mistakes. I agreed for an additional hour because I asked them to also move my garbage disposal switch. I was busy doing things and I realized he was done, he said it took him 4 hours instead of 3. We weren't happy with the work. They definitely cared what we thought when they heard we were from Angie's list.

I emailed them and advised service I needed performed. I was contacted within a couple of days and an appointment was scheduled. The tech was on time and very thorough he even put the TV back on the wall for me. I will use them anytime I need an electrician.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. He tried to install an outlet in another room but it turned out that it's something that couldn't be done and I understood what he was saying. This was the first time I used them. He was punctual and he did a really nice job. I think he gave it his best shot on trying to figure out how to do the one that he couldn't do. He was a very courteous, knowledgeable young man.

He was great. He did a great job with the fan and was very patient with explaining everything with me. He was understanding and the price was reasonable. I wil call him again if I need any more service.

Ernie was about 30 minutes late for the appointment, and I was scheduled to go into work when the work was completed. But that's okay. The job done was worth the wait. Ernie did a great job and did much more than I expected. I had only planned for him to install the outlet plug over the stove but he discovered that there was wiring in place so no need to get into the attic. So after the plug was put in, he removed the old vent-a-hood and installed my new microwave over the stove. I had planned to contract someone else to install the microwave, so this was a huge bonus and savings to me. I'm very pleased and would definitely hire him for other work.

The project went well. He arrived on time and quickly got to work. I had all of the material laid out for him and he quickly run the electrical and installed the two new receptacles in my garage. I wanted an external one as well but, he was not able to do it based on the location. I would definitely hire him again. He was punctual, polite and professional and didn't mind me looking over his shoulder and asking questions.

Everything went great - had no problems at all and love the new lights. Communicated with Ernie via email shortly after pruchasing the Big Deal coupon. We agreed on a time and I thought at first that was for a site survey and estimate, but he said they would show up and do the work all on the one visit. Josh came out on time and helped me make final lighting decisions and then went to work. He did a great job and even had to work in the attic on a very hot day. He finished up as planned and quicker than I expected. Lights looked good and worked good. I had a few questions about the details and he patiently explained everything. I have other electrical projects planned and will definitely call them again.

Everything went great. I scheduled it for Wednesday morning, 8:30 to 9, and they showed up right at 8:30. I showed the technician what I needed done, and he got right to work. He had my switch box fixed and working within an hour, then checked all the other outside electrical connections to ensure they were working properly. He had to replace some parts for my switch box, which was an additional charge of $27, but that was reasonable. He was completed about 10 AM, cleaned up his work, gave me the old parts, and was gone.

Ernie is in demand so he could not come out the first day I called, but he came exactly when he said he would the next day. He asked pertinent questions and accurately diagnosed my wiring problem. He repaired the wiring behind the wall quickly and as neatly as could be allowed (he had to cut into the drywall to get to the short) and finished the job in about two hours. I used one of Angie's Lists Big Deal vouchers for the work and it covered the cost of the repair. I would definitely recommend Cowtown Wire Nuts Electric. Ernie did the job right the first time. I was told by Ernie that he would be here between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, however, no one showed up or called and I began running the errands I had delayed because of the and quot;appointmentand quot;. At 2:30 I received a call from someone named Josh who informed me he was approximately 2 miles from my home but needed directions. I told him the appointment was for between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM and that I wasn't home, he adopted an attitude and said sarcastically and quot;I was on another job and then I had to eat lunchand quot;. I asked him why my appointment was scheduled when he had another job at the same time and he said in a belligerent tone, and quot;Ernie didn't schedule enough time for the first joband quot;. Because I had already paid for the labor, I told him I would come home. He arrived about 5 minutes after I did at 3:00 PM and I showed him the surge protector we had purchased, he proceeded to work for approximately 30 minutes on wiring then started to connect the surge protector and discovered it was a 3 phase instead of a single phase. If he had told us at the beginning before he started working on the project I would have stopped him and rescheduled the appointment after we had exchanged the surge protector for the proper unit. However, since he had already started working, he said he would sell me a surge protector for $199.00; I agreed and he continued working. He then said he needed to go to Lowe's for parts and was gone for 45 minutes. After completing the work he said my total was $235.00. I asked why it was $36.00 more than he quoted and he said the parts were not included in the price of $199.00; it would have been nice to know that upfront. He left my house at 5:45 PM. I was extremely unhappy with this man's attitude, the lack of respect for my time, the company not abiding by the appointment they scheduled, the company not calling at 12:00 to tell me the electrician was running behind, and the non disclosure of the total cost of the surge protector. Save yourself a headache and DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY.

I called them 3 weeks ago and told the owner I would prefer the work be done on a Friday that I have off. Josh came out and called before he came and came out 10 min early. He installed electrical boxes and light switches and a couple ceiling fans. I couldn't have been any happier with the service
