Rich Services Air Conditioning & Electrical

Rich Services sent Jacob out to install GFCI's for inspection report. They recently installed an HVAC unit & they did a great job, I hired them to do the electrical work. I would not hesitate to hire them for any other needs in the future - the technician was very professional & cleaned up after finishing the job. Not to mention, Anne - she is the office manager & takes care of all paperwork in a very timely fashion!

From the time they pulled into the driveway until the job was completed, top notch service as well as professional! The technician, David & the electrician, Bart were well trained & professional throughout - I appreciated they showed up on time, answered my calls & were patient w/some of the unique troubleshooting for this house. And I would like to mention, Ann Wheeler, Office Mgr. - she was great to work too!

The technicians Josh Heinen and i forget the other techs name but they were wonderful and very nice but the lady on the phone is just rude and shouldnt be taking calls if she is going to be so rude and uncaring. Josh continued to apologize for the lady rudeness

Jacob was friendly and professional and knew exactly where to find the electrical source for the alarm system. He fixed both wiring issues within an hour, and didn't mind giving some advice on a future electrical and lighting job. Thanks so much Rich Services!

Ralph was very professional and does quality work. I was very impressed with the quality of work and they are reasonably priced. I will use them again for any electrical work that I need in the future.

I called this company and spoke with James Rich who stated after hearing my issue that they would have to send someone out to my house to do a physical estimate, the cost would be $79 and if I chose to use their services that would come off the bill. I said that sounded fine, he then wanted to transfer me to his scheduler who was busy and was to call me back. I was called back in a timely manner but was unable to take the call and had to call them again. When I spoke to Deborah and once again began explaining the situation she informed me that they weren't really interested in that type job and that the job would be costly for me since the house wasn't being remodeled and taken down to just the studs. She then went on to let me know the estimate alone could cost me as much as 2 hours of work ($158.00). I told her that I had spoken with Mr. Rich and he said $79, and she again disagreed with me that no it could cost up to $158.00. Her demeanor was brusque and condescending and I informed her that I would contact someone else. Hopefully I can find someone who is interested in this type job! It was so disheartening that I felt compelled to write this review as a warning to others who might consider using their services.

Overall, great experience. I contacted Rich Service and Air Conditioning and, after desribing our needs, was emailed a reasonable estimate. Within a week, a master electrician arrived at my house promptly, walked through the process with me and helped to sketch a map of the best outlet locations. As we are converting the garage to a home gym/office - he installed separate circuits for the treadmill/stair climber and air conditioning unit, installed several wall outlets and ran conduit from the detached garage to the main house. Within a day, everything was done and worked great . I was very pleased with our interaction with this company, I would contact them for future electrical projects (and air conditioning) and I would recommend to friends and family.

I had contacted one electrician, also A-rated, in our area for this job. As I did not receive a call back to schedule for about a week (and I still haven't received a call yet), I moved on to the next A-rated company. So I called Rich Services and explained what I wanted done over the phone -- one dedicated circuit for a refrigerator and one dedicated circuit for a freezer, both in our garage. We scheduled an appointment for a Friday at 1300. Ralph, the electrician, called and asked if he could come over a couple of hours early, which was perfect. When he arrived, I explained what I wanted done, he gave me some options, I elected to have 2 outlets/circuits installed through conduit along the wall from the electrical panel, and the job was done very quickly. He routed the conduit along the wall and hooked it up to an external 4" box. This was cheaper and easier than running it through the attic/walls and would be largely hidden by the fridge and future freezer anyway. To me, the $200 was well-worth it. I will call this company for any future electrical needs.

Great company, great service! Called early in the morning for an a/c system that was out of order. They said response would be the following day, but they'd try to work me in same day, if their schedule permitted. The servicemen arrived seven hours after placing the call...excellent! They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired a clogged condensation line. Repairs were quick, professional, and very reasonably priced. I've used Rich Services before, and I'd use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat. Thanks!

This company was selected as a result of their high ratings on Angie's list. Although we knew exactly what we wanted done, and the owner provided an estimate for the repairs - the team that did the work was unable to do about half the work. I was not pleased with the size of the estimate, but was really mad when I found out they would not be able to do the work. After some negotiations, the final bill was reduced - but still high for the actual work completed. Why would we be presented an estimate for work that their repairmen could not do?? additionally, the team left the house a mess. No attempt was made to protect our new carpet, and we will have to hire a cleaning crew to make it right. We will never use these guys again. .

An exceptional experience! Jacob S. the electrician from Rich Services came by on time, diagnosed and replaced two key 50 amp circuit breakers which had blown out following a recent power outage, restoring my AC and hot water. He also re-wired two rather complex 3-way switches which included a light timer and a remote traveler line I had not installed correctly so they would function properly and he installed a surge protector on a breaker box so the next time the power went out and came back on it wouldn't damage any more breakers. Jacob was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I could not be more satisfied.

The person that was dispatched did an outstanding job. He very efficient and did a good job.

Electrician was excellent in wiring a new wall oven. Spent extra time when unit did not work to be sure that the issue was the new oven, which it was. Wife very impressed which is what really matters.

It was all quickly installed and is working well! . They also scheduled us in quickly because I had explained painters would be coming to paint the whole house interior. We will hire them again.

We had two minor considerations. First, the electrician was running behind for the day so arrival was 45 minutes past our scheduled time. We finally called the main office to determine whether they were still coming and they informed us of the delay. Second, our home was in the designated service area of the company but they still charged us a travel fee of $20. That being said, he was efficient, professional, and did excellent work. We would certainly hire them again.

Two electricians arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. We purchased the ceiling fans and can lights, but they assembled and installed them. They cleaned up their mess and we're done that same afternoon.

Tech was on time and performed the work without incident. Good experience.

As a result of the work preformed on 4/9. I was missing a 6 ft. peice of siding and a wireless door bell. I bought those item morning 4/10. I called rich service at 11.55 and was informed that Jacob had finish a job close by and would come over at !:30 pm after he ate lunch. I said great. He showed as indicated by Deborah the manager. Finish the Job. I paid him and he left. A great Job he did. That company gets 5 stars from 5 stars.

I CALLED THIS MORNING AND TALKED TO DEBBIE , THE OFFICE MANGER. I ASKED IF JACOB WAS AVAILABLE.SHE SAID YES, THAT HE WAS ON A JOB IN WACO, AND HE WAS AVAILABLE AROUND 1 PM. AT ONE PM JACOB CALLED AND CAME OVER.HE PERFORMED THE ABOVE WORK AND LEFT AT 345 PM. I NEED TO PROVIDE A DOOR BELL AND CALL FOR JACOB TO COME BACK AND FIX THE DOOR BELL.

Very professional, quick, clean work

It went well. He quoted me $150 but in the end he charged me $175 so that was disturbing but the work looked fine. I do not recommend him.

Outstanding service!! Was on time...took care of the problem...charged a reasonable price and was "gone" within 30 minutes. My first time using them...they will be the people I call for any future problems.
