I contacted Southern Plumbing to install 2 water heaters in the attic. Chris called ahead to let me know he would be delayed due to traffic. He quickly assessed the situation, made some recommendations to upgrade the installation to avoid potential future problems. He was efficient with the installation and took the time to answer all of my questions and make recommendations about annual maintenance. I would highly recommend Southern Plumbing, ask for Chris!

David was on time, polite and very professional. He talked through all the work and various options, and we also discussed possibilities for future work that will need to be done with the hot water heater. While I ultimately decided to go with a different vendor, the quote was competitive and I very much appreciated the honesty and information, particularly with regards to what the inspector might potentially have issues with (things that would not be related to the work performed, but might be noticed during an inspection). I will definitely keep Southern Plumbing on the short list for any future estimates and work.

I sent a text message asking when they could deal with my problem. I received a return telephone call after about 30 minutes stating that a crew would be able to deal with my problem about five hours later and would call first. They did call, about three hours later and arrived when they said they would. They used a snake to clean the drainage line and replaced the old pvc plumbing with new. It seems to be working. I'm pleased.

Southern Plumbing has been responsive, professional and relatively economical. Bottom line, they come out on time, are communicative, they do their work, maintain a clean environment and care about the homeowner and the home, and do the necessary work to make the repair or replacement. Best of all, they are fair and their prices are what is to be expected. You never feel like Southern Plumbing is taking advantage of you or trying to make an extra buck. Overall great job on every front. Would use them again and again for all of my plumbing needs.

We had a leaky faucet in the kitchen, which was replaced. The two service techs were very cordial, professional and excellent specialists. And the price was very reasonable.

Everything was great! They arrived towards the beginning of the window given, were super quick, and very professional. I couldn't have asked for an easier service. I messaged a few companies for quotes. A couple of the companies quoted me a price with and without the disposal included. Some of them had greatly marked up the price of the unit itself (about $100 over market price). Southern plumbing gave me quotes both with and without the disposal and the price with was very reasonable and not marked up. This to me showed a lot of integrity in the company and I trusted them to perform the service without a bunch of extra fees. I will definitely contact this company should I need plumbing services again.

They provide excellent service. They have a great team and they're very professional. I highly recommend them. They have good responsiveness. Everything about them was very professional.

Called them on 1/19/15. Phone answered right away. Described problem and they set appointment for around 2 PM on 1/20/15. Arrive at 2:15 PM. Promptly replaced both valves. Great Service. Personable technicians. Reasonable Price. I have found the plumbing service I will use in the future and highly recommend them.

I hesitate to give quick reviews but I'm just so happy with the company/service that I feel it warrants it. I found this company on Angie's list ( We normally go by word of mouth or Angie's list) and I read all the reviews and decided to give them a call. My first interaction was with David (who I believe may be the manager) and he was quite helpful right from the start. Even though my phone call was a little scattered because honestly, I didn't expect someone to pick up the phone so quickly, but in general he just was patient, offering his best advice even without seeing the problem firsthand. One thing that we really appreciated was his advice to check first with our landscapers to see if they could take care of it for us and that may save us a little money. As it turned out, landscapers couldn't do it so I called back and David answered again!! David set something up right away and Chris and Aaron came out this morning even earlier than planned which was a nice surprise!! Chris and Aaron were very knowledgeable and really worked hard at cleaning out a seriously clogged storm drain that btw ( my hubby told me to have this looked at sooner! Ha ) and they kept at it for over an hour until the drain became unclogged. So grateful for the guys coming out and working so hard and just for the company being a really stable, effective company to deal with. I will have no problem referring them to our family and friends! Thanks again Southern Plumbing!!

I called Southern Plumbing at the recommendation of a friend of mine who found them on Angie's list and then I reviewed their credentials on Angie's List as well. Southern did a GREAT job with replumbing my house. As soon as I contacted Southern, David got back to me within a couple of hours and we set-up a time for him to come assess and give me an estimate on the project. David was beyond punctual and was very respectful of my time. This was my first interaction with Southern and I knew from that point forward that I'd likely be happy with their service. He and I discussed the work I had already done and he was able to make use of the attic copper lines I had put in 2 years ago. This reduced the amount of repairs and the cost associated with the overall project. My house has 3.5 baths plus the kitchen and with its layout, the plumbing is quite complicated. Because of the layout, I chose to go with PEX plumbing as that would require the least amount of wall cutout. I had told David that the plumbing team would need to arrive at 8 so that I could get to work on time, and he arrived at 7:45 with the team to make sure I was not delayed in leaving. The team then proceeded to come up with their plan of execution given the area coverage and the difficulties in accessing all my plumbing work. They then confirmed that they would be able to complete the project in 2 days and they were true to their word. On the second day they had to work pretty late to finish everything, but that was due to some unexpected delays in finding the routes to move the plumbing work. The plumbing was put in very well and while I was surprised that they chose not to use some of the holes that were already in place for the plumbing outlets behind the toilets and fridge, it was ultimately a minor issue. Overall, the plumbing work was fantastic and worked well. The team tested all the pieces to make sure I had no leaks before they left, and when they noticed something wasn't properly working they immediately got it fixed and cleaned up the area. They left the house in very clean shape and did their best to minimize the number of holes. I was able to ask, and the team complied with the request, that they keep all the dry wall pieces they cut out where possible. This made it easier when my dry wall repair contractor came in to fix things and also allowed me to plug the holes even in a minor way while waiting for my third party contractor to fix the walls. Southern plumbing did a great job and even the city Inspector, who they scheduled for me, said that it looked like the team did a good job. I was impressed by the timeliness, efficiency, cost consciousness and competence of the team and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs to have plumbing work done. In fact, they were the first name I recommended to my friend who needed to get a water heater put in, and he ended up using them and was quite pleased with the results. Now he's even considering using them to redo his own plumbing.

Southern plumbing did a great job with my last minute call. Immediate response and communication was excellent even thought I was not able to be the property during the visit. Chris (service tech) was very professional and was very helpful in communicating with me as far as the what was causing the plumbing issues. Definitely looking forward to hiring them for other projects that I have coming up.

From first contact to completion of job they were very professional and pleasant to work with. While at the house they were clean, quick and efficient. All work was tested and confirmed before they left. Would highly recommend!!

David answered the phone and after listening to my project scope, he indicated that he could not do a new CoH water service install because there was an approved list for this work. He provided me with the number of the CoH office to call (832 394 8870) to obtain a list of approved plumbers. Great customer service over the phone. A+

David was very professional and helpful from the beginning when communicating both through Angie's List messaging and over the phone. David and Chris showed up on time with the new water heater and did a fantastic job all around, ensuring to keep everything neat and tidy. I will definitely use Southern Plumbing again, probably soon to replace my corroding 1970's galvanized steel pipes with PEX.

David and Chris were both fabulous. Easy to talk to and very knowledgable. Offered repair options on the spot with pricing as well. Job took less time than I expected given the work that was completed. Highly recommend and will call again should the need arise.

I had the cartridge in my kitchen faucet replaced a few months ago. The faucet worked for a while but on two occasions recently I had trouble bringing the handle down to turn off the water. I thought I would need a new faucet and I called Southern Plumbing to install one. They sent someone in on the same morning. The plumber said the cartridge wasn't properly installed. He told me he could either fix the cartridge or install the new faucet. I chose the former.

I called Southern Plumbing on a Friday morning and by Friday afternoon they sent out a plumber who did all that anyone would think would be necessary to locate a leak (opening walls, pulled up and fixed toilets, and all other areas around the leak). Unfortunately, he could not locate the leak and neither could I. Since the bathroom tub and tile really needed to be caulked, grouted, and/or replaced, we figured that had to be the culprit so I thought that was what I needed to do next...especially since the leak seemed slower since no one had used the shower that day. We figured the pooled water was simply draining and that was it. Luckily this slow drip was draining into my garage. The next morning, I saw a water stain near the garage but inside my house that wasn't there before. I called Southern Plumbing that morning and they sent Chris out that afternoon and low and behold he found what seemed to be impossible to find. Chris even provided other pieces of advice that would be helpful as a homeowner to prevent plumbing issues. I have a home warranty service, but I'm positive, I'd call Chris at Southern Plumbing first.

I sent a note to Southern Plumbing Services thru the Angie's List website, giving my information as well as describing the problem. I received a call back within 10 minutes, and was told that there was a crew nearby just finishing a job, and could come right over. They were here within 30 minutes, assessed the problem, and spent the next hour fixing. One of the techs, Sergio, was outstanding in showing me the problem and explaining in detail the repair job. They cleaned up afterward, and I complimented them o their quick and professional service. I would recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing services.

Already had another plumbing company run their camera 10-12 ft and tell us there was a break and we needed to replace pipes, and that meant tunneling beneath the house which is on a slab foundation. $7,000 +/- and total disruption of the home. The camera pics were small, grainy, black/white. Cost of running the camera was $200. Southern Plumbing ran their digital camera. Amazing color detail. They scanned the full length of the pipe across the entire house to the outside. There were no breaks, only a small dip holding water from the house/land settling over the years. His recommendation: "Do nothing." Cost was $300 for a very thorough camera inspection. They took their time. Prompt, professional, HONEST.

Outstanding work and service with Southern Plumbing. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and even impressive! I first contacted the company because we had a toilet that was not flushing properly. Sergio arrived onsite and tried multiple approaches to address the issue. After trying several things, he recommended that we put a camera into the pipes to see what was blocking the flow. His snake would only go so far and there was definitely a block. He and David arrived the following Monday with the camera and with the camera and visuals from Sergio under the house, we were able to see multiple issues. First, when Sergio got under the house (pier and beam), he immediately saw a break in the sewer line and then he moved with the camera under the house communicating with David in terms of what he was seeing. A busted pipe at the kitchen sink and multiple other issues considering 94 year old cast iron pipes under the majority of the home. Sergio was top notch in addressing the issues, photographing and taking video at each point along the way under the house. Both he and David definitely know plumbing as we watched them interact to discuss what each were seeing in the camera and under the house, discussing possible approaches for the job, and trying to figure old were sewer lines were located, etc. The assessment was that we needed to replace the cast iron pipes and this certainly was an unexpected expense. David was extremely detail oriented about the work, outlining the various options and potential issues we might encounter. He gave us worst case scenario and best case. We received a quote in less than 24 hours. David walked us through the work and even contacted our neighbor to explain to her in detail the potential work in her backyard and why access might be needed and the steps they would take to minimize damage to her yard. He promised her that he would follow-up once the work was started to make sure she understood exactly what was happening and why and to make sure all her questions were answered. Less than a week later, David and Sergio brought in a team and they moved through the work very quickly and efficiently. David understood the potential impact of us possibly having to leave the home, board five animals, etc., so he brought in extra guys to get the work done as quickly as possible which we appreciated. In the end, we did not need to go into our neighbors yard for the work. I called her to give her that update and she said - oh David has already called me to let me know. I was so impressed with this level of follow-up and detail. I have been singing Southern Plumbing's praises because we are so pleased especially with a job that quite frankly was overwhelming for us in terms of being completely unexpected, the sheer scope of the work and impact to our lives. Thank you David and Sergio. You guys are the best. If you want the best - go with Southern Plumbing hands down.

The leaking water was found at 5:15 a.m., I contacted the office as earliest as possible and someone was at my home at 8:15 a.m. My son and I turned off the water in order to see if we could locate the leak. By the time the plumbers showed up I was able to tell them what we had figured out but were not sure where the leak was located. They looked in attic and then in den where the plumbing lines were and they were able to locate the leak. I was grateful that the location where they started, the leak was detected at that one point and my walls did not have to be completely destroyed. Plumbers explained what could be done, temporarily and permanently. Due to old pipes in walls, I decided to do temporary work as all plumbing pipes will need to be replaced in my home eventually.

The plumbers Chris and Ben arrived on time as scheduled. They gave us a very reasonable estimate for plumbing work on corroded lines running to the hot water heater. They were friendly, professional and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. On the day of the job, they again arrived on time, got to work quickly and completed the job in less than 4 hours. They answered all our questions and cleaned up after finishing. Thanks Southern Plumbing!

I call around 8:30 am and they were at my home by 10:00 and had the problem fixed by 10:30. Sergio was very professional and explained everything in detail. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.
