I contacted the company yesterday morning. My call went to an answering machine. I didn't leave a message at the time but after a few minutes I did receive a call from the company. I told the man that I suspected I had an underground leak in the front yard because the ground was so wet and water was pooling in the street. He said he had a crew working nearby and said he could send them over between 2 and 4. Later, about 2 o'clock, I received a call from Chris, who he said he would be by in about 20 minutes. When he arrived, he and his helper spent about 10 minutes trying to find the source of the leak. They were able to determine that it was coming from my irrigation system, not any of the plumbing to the house. Chris recommended I contact my landscaper, or a lawn irrigation company for repairs. He said it would save me a lot of money. Chris and his helper were very polite, knowledgeable, and thorough. And they didn't charge me a cent for their time. I will be using this company in the future. They are honest and capable.

They (I think their names were Chris and Jaime) were wonderful! They came the very next day after I called. They spent twenty minutes locating the probable source. They were honest and practical in their advice. Then, because no work was actually needed, they wouldn't even accept payment or a tip!

The replacements and repairs went very well and we were very pleased with the workers who were sent to do this job. The crew was very courteous and well mannered. We will request the same crew when we need any other plumbing work done. Thanks for a job well done.

Very polite and knowledgeable plumbers showed up on time. They accessed the difficult problem quickly and took care of my washer drain immediately. I am so pleased with Southern Plumbing.

I used Southern Plumbing twice in the past. I'm happy with their price and high level of service. The plumber was very knowledgeable and gave me advice on what products to use to keep the drain open in the future. I recommended them to a friend and he was also very happy with them.

They came and they had a camera type thing. They were looking for the leak in the upstairs bathroom that Chavez eventually fixed but they didn't find the problem. What they did was good but I felt as if they didn't understand some of the problems we were having. They didn't seem knowledgeable. The guy who came to the house was very nice and very personable but in the end I didn't use them for the major leak that we had. They were responsive and they were good as far as human relations.

Work quickly and properly performed.

Called David and scheduled a service call. Said they would make an effort to come earlier if time allowed and I was available. Chris and Jamie arrived promptly at the scheduled time and determined that the issue was the gas control valve/ thermostat. Chris determined that the heater was under warranty and gave me the option to save some money by procuring the part myself and scheduling when I had part in hand. Scheduled with David again, and Chris & Jamie arrived promptly again and installed part and got me up and running. This is the second time I've used these guys and they've been very responsive and straight forward. The guys are very personable and don't mind answering your questions or explaining things. Sometimes we homeowners are pretty ignorant about home works and sometimes are taken advantage of, but I believe this group to be honest and up front with fair pricing.

Chris J. came out and gave us a very fair bid ( I took 3 bids. David scheduled the work to begin on a Monday per my request which made it very convenient for me to be home and take off of work. The crew of 4 plumbers headed by Erwin were polite, clean and very hard working. They completed the work in two long days, faster than expected. The crews pressure tested and inspected every connection. The city inspector came out the next day to confirm the work was done to city code standards. Great experience working with these folks.

I had a small leak from a 90 degree elbow 1/2 inch pipe leaking in the attic. The small leak cased some sheet rock damage, but it does not look severe. I searched for a plumber on Angie's list and I found Southern Plumbing Services with a 93% rating, I called them on a Sunday,but did not get an answer Sunday,however, promptly Monday morning I received an apology from David for not answering Sunday, and a request for my service problem. I was asked by David if I wanted and estimate, or to send a crew to repair the problem. Because the rating was so high, and the excellent customer service of David calling me back from my Sunday call, I informed David to send a repair crew. Chris and Jose arrived on time, I explained the problem, Chris spent time with my wife and I concerning the options, and we decided to have the immediate elbow repair completed without the whole 40 year old house being re-piped at this time. The estimate to have the whole house re-piped was fair and reasonable. The blind decision to have a company come to your house and do a repair, and to get such professional HONEST and FAIR pricing can only be attributed to ANGIE and the surveys the customers take. I have already recommended Southern Plumbing Services to my neighbor, and if I had their cards, would go down the street and put one at every door in the neighborhood.

I spoke to David (manager) who promptly responded and came out to give me a quote. I was particularly interested in replacing my water heater because it was 16 years old and I wanted one which still had a pilot light. David was able to secure the one I wanted and it was installed a few days later in a few hours. The plumbers who came were very nice and professional, did a good job and left no mess. This is the 4th time that I have used Southern Plumbing. 4 years ago, they replaced a pipe in the kitchen ceiling after discovering a recent dripping from the kitchen ceiling was from a pipe which had never been properly screwed together by the builder. 3 yrs ago, on a Sunday afternoon, I discovered a leak on my side of the water meter. The plumbers came the next afternoon to replace the pipe which took 4 hrs b/c having to constantly bail water. Charge was $400. Last yr, I had a major gas leak under my cooktop. 2 Southern Plumbers were at my house within half an hour and convinced the inspector to not pull the gas meter (which saved me several hundred dollars). They then replaced the gas line and checked everything out. They were great!

This was my first experience with Southern Plumbing. Chris did a great job and I would certainly call on Southern Plumbing again for future needs. While there was a bit of a scheduling mix-up, I think the company recovered well. The crew cleaned up any mess made underneath the sink and left my home in good order. I appreciated the 30 minute out service call notice.

From first contact with Dave, Southern plumbing was super responsive and reliable. They called and showed up exactly as promised. The two plumbers who arrived were polite and knowledgeable. It turns out that the piece I "broke" should have been taken out by the builder. I hadn't broken anything after all. They tested the drain and everything was fine. I felt silly for calling them out, but they could not have been nicer and took the time to explain everything. The most amazing part is, when I tried to pay them for the service call, they declined. I will use this company for all of my future plumbing needs.

Chris explained every option to unclog the drain up front and the price differences. He also gave us suggestions to keep the drain from clogging again and needing additional services. Chris showed up on time for the time commitment, the price was reasonable to what we have seen online and it was very helpful. I would use Southern Plumbing services again.

Service for a blocked drain was scheduled within a couple of hours of my call. Chris and his associate were polite and efficient. They discussed the likely source of the problem, a plan to unblock the drain, and the estimated cost before proceeding further. The problem was fixed quickly and I was given instruction on how to prevent recurrences related to an AC tie-in to the drain. These guys are customer oriented and know their jobs! Overall an efficient and pleasant experience.

Chris was highly professional and knowledgeable - gave great ongoing maintenance tips. Left a message earlier today and had someone over in an hour to provide the service.

I emailed Thursday night with a request to remove a stopped-up disposal and the fact that I needed to go out of town by 10 am the next morning. He had a service team at my house at 8:30 am. They removed the unit, took it outside, scrubbed it good, cleaned it all out, replaced the mucked up PVC and reinstalled everything with time to spare. Sergio and his partner were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and explained how to prevent this happening again. I would use them again anytime.

Based on their high Angie's List ratings, called Monday morning and was given a price estimate over the phone. Work was completed Monday afternoon. Technicians were on time, professional and friendly. The bill matched the estimate; no surprises. Will definitely call Southern Plumbing for any future needs.

We received several quotes for this job and went with Southern based not only on their price, but on their reputation and professionalism. We are very pleased with the work done and would certainly use them again, and in fact I just referred my sister. Their positive Angie's List ratings are well deserved.

Arrived, diagnosed, and completed work. Cleaned up and were very easy to deal with.

Service was great. Chris explained how food gets trapped in old cast iron plumbing. He also noted that a plug on the disposer was not opened properly to allow water from the dishwasher to drain and fixed that. The two men were thorough, and efficient. I would use them again.

The guys did a great job installing the new toilet. I recommend them very highly!

They did an excellent job. Entire team was professional. I especially appreciated the actions taken by Chris when he found that one of the new faucets that I had ordered via internet was defective. He laid out the options for me to correct this situation, and when I decided what I wanted to do, he got on the phone calling his supervisor and my contractor to get everything rolling. By the afternoon, both faucets were installed and working properly.
