Got here VERY quickly, even on a Friday afternoon. Both representatives were intelligent, well spoken, EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in every way imaginable. Without being asked, they also cleaned a huge clog out of the washing machine line which would also have backed up very soon, unbeknownst to us. Sergio honored the Angie's list coupon for 10% discount without me even having to print it out. SERGIO and Ben were truly wonderful plumbers and saved our weekend with their superlative service and enthusastic demeanors (the world would be a much better place if we had more competent, friendly workers like these!) This is the 4th time we have used Southern Plumbing - always A++ service. I'm a total FAN - if you have to have plumbing trouble, these are the guys you want!

Did a clean job. Seems a little pricey, but they did a good job in a fast time.

Because the gas had not been turned on and I was needing the gas company to come out, they came the same day as the gas company to make sure their unit would fit in the attic at no additional charge. It turned out that the gas company and plumbing company arrived at the same time and he moved my installation back that same day. It's a good thing he measured because their standard unit would have been too big for the space so they ordered, picked up, delivered, and installed the custom unit the same day. To say they were timely is to say the least. They were very professional, courteous, and careful not to scrape, drip, or make any mess around the house. They will now be our new plumbers.

They called ahead to let me know when they would arrive and they arrived on time. They were very upfront with the costs and potential for problems. The toilet work was done in quick order with no problems. The tub valve was not an easy project. A manager came out to assist and between the two they were successfully able to remove the stuck valve so that we didn't have to cut through the sheet rock from the back. But, they were very upfront about the potential for increased costs and what effect/risks that there would be at each stage. They were good about letting me decide whether or not to proceed further and they seemed very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The original plumber (named Chris) was a little quirky personality-wise, but he was good at what he did--I'll take quirky and reliable over great personality and poor results any day.

I called on Monday evening after hours and left a message. I was called back within an hour and the service call was set up for the next day between 10 and 11 am. The technician called about 10:50 and said he was coming but a little late. He ahowed up at 11:15. He called with an estimate then finished the repair within an hour. Later that evening I was called and paid the bill. All this was handled by phone which was very convenient for me since this service was for a rental property. I was very satisfied.

Southern Plumbing did a great job throughout the whole scope of the project. They were prompt, professional and went beyond expectations to ensure the job was done correctly. The weather did not cooperate during the job but Southern's workers kept up and worked through the wet conditions. All work passed inspections on the 1st attempt. Excellent job. They are our plumbers from now on.

Was able to pretty much diagnose problem but was not able to complete job on day of call.

John Moore plumbing came to my house said my hot water heater was broken and needed to be replaced and gave me $3,9999 bid for Rheem (12 year). I called Southern at 3:30pm and they made arrangements and showed up to my house at 4:30pm the same day ready to install the new hot water heater. I then Showed the tech, Chris where the hot water heater was located and told him that it was 7 years old. Chris then looked at the heater and told me it looked brand new. Chris was able to start the hot water heater and told me that it should be fine. These guys could have just installed the hot water heater and I would have gladly paid them. They were honest and quickly fixed my problem. I highly recommend this company. The price for the replacement if i would have needed it was an excellent price.

They were on time, called ahead, and explained everything they would do ahead of time. They were polite and neat and completed the job very quickly.

We had a great experience with Southern Plumbing. They were very responsive and made their plumbers available within 24h. They arrived on time and performed the work promptly. They were careful in not keeping the area clean and left everything tidy. Cost was reasonable, about average what I had gotten from other providers.

Chris was fabulous! Our poor old 27 year old toilet needed a complete overhaul. It needed new parts and a lot of work. I'm not a plumber, so I can't get into specific details, but it's like a new toilet now. We have used Southern Plumbing before, as have several friends, and we will again. Chris is very thorough and professional and we completely trust and value his expertise.

Three weeks ago, the water heater stopped working. The pilot light would not stay lit. The heater was still under warranty and so I wanted to get it repaired. The problem seemed to be a faulty gas control but there was no part available in Houston. A part was ordered from the manufacturer, but because of the holidays it didn't get here until today. I called Southern Plumbing at about 2 pm and they were able to come over immediately. They replaced the defective part and it now WORKS!!! We will have hot water for the first time in three weeks. They were super nice and competent. They get an A+ from me.

We just bought a house and wanted to change out the electric range for a gas range. I already had one quote from another plumber when I called Southern Plumbing. Over the phone, they gave me a range of the potential cost, and offered to come out to give me a free estimate. It was easy to set the appointment for the estimate. That day, the guys arrived early, and gave a very reasonable estimate (lower than the other plumber, who had also seen the job in person). They were also able to do the work the same day. The two workers did a great job, and were very detail-oriented in how they ran & secured the gas lines from the wall through the cupboard to the range. They communicated thoroughly, and cleaned up very nicely. They also helped me set and seal the new range. When I brought up the Angie's List discount, it was included with no problem. We have some future plumbing work that will need to be done, and I will definitely call these guys first.

I called at 6:30 this morning (time they open) and they were able to be out here by 9 a.m. The only thing wrong was with the reset button! He also explained when to drip water in cold weather, replacement part costs (& possibility of not fixing problem), plus total replacement/(walk out the door cost estimate, which I hope not to need for a very long time. I will call Southern for any plumbing-related needs in the future--highly ethical, they deserve the highest of ratings!!!

David first scheduled an appointment that was very convenient for me. The 2 plumbers came exactly on time, followed by David, to make sure that the diagnosis of the problem was correct. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and expedient in their work on both repairing my Toto toilets, as well as repairing the drain pipe line behind my washer that was over 50 years old. I had 2 previous plumbers not able to diagnose why my washer drain was overflowing and flooding. Southern Plumbing knew exactly what to do I am so impressed and thankful for all the hard work to get both Toto toilets rebuilt with the exact parts, and my washer drain line replaced. David and his 2 plumbers did an outstanding job at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend Southern Plumbing.

Called and the company sent the guys out the same day. They took apart my grill and installed new orafices to get the grill working . They were here for 1.5 hours overall pleased with the service I received .

It couldn't have gone more smoothly. I always dislike having to call plumbers but this was a great experience from start to finish. I called about 8:00am and was told someone could be here around 10:00am. They were here right on time, very thorough with explanations and options, friendly and professional. I will definitely call them again and recommend them highly.

As you can imagine, I was very concerned when water was gushing out of the back of my washing machine. I knew about the sink problem, but thought we had resolved it the night before with draino. After calling 2 different plumbers to find out if they could come to my house immediately (to no avail), I found Southern Plumbing. I called the first number and got a voicemail so I tried the second number listed on their Angie's List profile. It was the owner's cell. He was super nice and told me he would have someone call me right back to schedule an appointment. 30 seconds later, my phone was ringing! They told me they could have someone over in an hour and they arrived when promised. The 2 men were professional, friendly, and hard-working. They immediately got down to business and knew exactly what was wrong. They asked me questions which came from a proactive curiosity rather than simply trying to rack up the bill! I will definitely call them with ALL my plumbing needs.

Southern Plumbing Services was very quick to respond. They had a good price and were able to replace our leaking spigots the same day. They forgot to completely shut off one of the spigots, causing us to worry that they did not fix the problem, but we are willing to write that off as a one-time "oops." Overall, they did a great job and we will use them again.

They are very good. They're very thorough. I trusted the people in my house, which means a lot to me. It only took them about 30 minutes to find the leak. They even called me ahead of the appointment and told me they could come earlier, which was good for me. I would use them again!

Hours showed Sun 8-5 on Angie's List. Only company with good reviews that had Sun hours. Called left a message Sun 8am. Used their website to send a message also. Now it's Monday, almost noon, and still no reply.

Could not be more pleased. Southern Plumbing did a great job. I received bids from three plumbing companies for the exact same job. The bids were $3,009.64, $1,250.00 and $850.00. Southern plumbing gave the lowest bid. I did not choose Southern Plumbing just because their bid was the lowest. The explanation I received from Southern, with options and pros and cons for each option, gave me the most comfort. Chris Jones was the plumber who did the job. He was polite, punctual, knowledgeable and responsive to my concerns and questions. Two lessons here: (1) use Angie's List when hiring contractors, and (2) get competing bids. I highly recommend Southern Plumbing and will use them again.
