Next Door Painting

After I bought the coupon, Daniel called the next day to arrange for a walk-through and estimate. Since some of what I wanted was not included in the deal, Daniel worked up an estimate for all the work and used the coupon as a down payment. The work was scheduled to begin the next Monday, much sooner that I expected. Everyone showed up on time and the work went well. All the painted areas were pressure washed, then repaired as needed. Everything was caulked then painted. The exterior was finished a day early. My one interior room was repaired (lots of nail holes and a broken toe-kick) then caulked and painted between 7:00 and 12:00 on the third day. All the faceplates were removed, the ceiling and floor taped off and all the furniture covered. The crew of painters was prompt and courteous. They even worked around my large dogs. I am impressed and would definitely use them in the future.

The quote for work was timely, the job was completed in exactly the amount of time proposed, and the quality of work was excellent.

This engagement could not have gone better. Daniel Smith was our initial point of contact, and he managed the project from start to finish. He was extremely courteous and professional, always prompt (which is very important to me and my wife), and followed through on every aspect of a very complex project that involved painting walls, extensive trim and crown moldings, and installing new plaster moldings around our can lights. Eduardo, the crew lead, and all of his crew did fantastic work. They were all very polite and courteous, and also on time every day. They were also very respectful of my wife, who works from home, and took great care to minimize the disruption to her work days. It is very rare that you can have an 8 day engagement with any contractor that goes off without a single hitch, but this was exactly that.

He was on time and did a good job of giving me options for the work that was to be provided. I didn't end up going with Next Door because my building had a regular contractor that was able to do the work at a lower rate. However, Next Door Painting's responsiveness, punctuality, and information was very much appreciated.

Fantastic. Was given an estimate by Daniel, who walked me through the procedures the company would use. We discussed paint options, work time, and other details, and he provided a written estimate. We scheduled and the painting crew, led by Mike, was excellent. They did a terrific job, cleaned up everything, and were very careful about protecting the house and grounds as they worked. Everyone was very professional and considerate. I am very happy with this company and will use them again when we paint interior areas next year.

Came as a duo, so four hours of two men working. Was great and an UNMATCHED price! They were nice, stayed busy Nd used every minute up! Time was running short... So they suggested they do the edging in the final room and all I had to do was roll the remainder. This team was fantastic!

Their price was excellent and they actually did more work than the bid required. The sheetrock repair and painting were all excellent. The workmen were on time, did the job in the time they said (less than a week), courteous, and took great care to protect the floors and woodwork. The service is excellent. They arrived as scheduled and I felt comfortable enough to leave the painters alone to paint. When I came home the rooms looked beautiful! The house was left in excellent condition, no mess and the workmanship is "A" all the way. My neighbors even loved their work and will probably use them as well. I have them coming back again to finish up on the rest of the house.

They did the job they were hired to do. They touched up spots of over-spray and any missed spots without complaint. There were three people who worked five full days. They cleaned up most of the mess they made- I keep finding tape wads around the yard. They didn't pay close attention to detail and trampled three new sapling bushes in the front of the house and got the hose wrapped around the electronic gate as they closed it- preventing it from working at all. They were friendly, professional, punctual and super responsive to my requests.

Out of five contractors interviewed, Next Door was the second lowest bid. The project began on the day promised and work was only interrupted due to bad weather. Next Door employees were polite, friendly and always cleaned up at the end of the day. JJ dropped by the site or called everyday to follow up on the progress of the job and immediately addressed any question(s) we had. We are very pleased and would definitely consider using them again.

Blake was very professional and easy to work with. He came on-site and gave a price, and made good suggestions on specific paint brand and level. He was very flexible with scheduling, and his team was completely punctual. When we added the kitchen, Blake gave us a price on the phone and his team continued on with the work. We planned a red accent wall, red being very difficult to pull off. All the work looks beautiful, we're very pleased.

Erik and his team were quick and professional. They were not the lowest bid we received but we wanted to work with someone we felt comfortable with and who guaranteed paint coverage. Other bids only said one coat and did not provide the same guarantee.

They did an excellent job; I am very happy with the results. They caulked wherever needed before painting. The back door was a mess. They sanded it down before painting, it looks new. They used Hardy Plank for the soffits and siding. It was a 4 day job and they put their stuff neatly aside in the evenings and cleaned up and put patio furniture and plants back when they completed the job. Extremely pleasant and professional people.

Fantastic. I was out of town during the painting and Blake stayed in touch throughout the whole process. He sent me progress pictures and made me feel comfortable that everything was going well when I was halfway across the world. When I returned we walked the property together and he did not request payment until I was completely satisfied. I was very impressed with the service and quality of the workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

Painters did a great job, worked quickly. We bought a coupon from Angies List and I can't remember the price.

Blake and his crew arrived right on the time we had scheduled. Scheduling a time was very flexible. We have a large kitchen but they applied two coats and applied a coat of white on the crown molding. They had extra paint and were able to put two coats on our laundry room which adjoins the kitchen. Moved a small cabinet and two refrigerators to work behind them. The trim work was great....I don't believe they got a speck on the trim at any point. We are very happy with Blake and his team from Next Door Painting.

My expectations were met by about 60%. The person didnt really clearly state what the finished product would be like. I asked him to tape, float, and paint the garage, but all he did was repair it, he didnt paint. I had to work quite hard to get him to get the painting and other things done. I really had to ask him to do all the different things.

Everything went great! Everyone that my husband dealt with was prompt, professional, and friendly. They did absolutely beautiful work, and our bathroom looks bright and clean. Total transformation of the space. The work took two days. They kept our home really clean while they worked by using dropcloths and other protection. They completely covered and sealed the bathroom floor with paper and painter's tape. Thank you so much for everything.

JJ and his crew did quality work in a timely manner. JJ even came back out to check the work a week later and did minor touch ups. He caught things I would have never caught!

There were delays due to rain, but it went well. The foreman came by for a final walk around and he prepared a hit list to fix what was left. I also pointed out some issues - power washing my siding on the 2nd floor deck level. Michael explained they didn't want to ruin or hurt my furniture on the deck. They moved everything and power washed that as well.
