Very smoothly and I was completely happy with the results.

We contacted Next Door Painting through their website and received a prompt response to our request for an estimate. Mike came out at the scheduled time and provided an estimate on the spot. The price was reasonable and they were ready to start work the next day. The painting took as long as anticipated and the painters were very professional. The work was exceptional, the painters were courteous of our space while we were in the home and they cleaned up each evening before they left. We could not be happier with the entire experience.

They were very organized, very clear on what services they were going to provide, how long they would take, and they had all their documents. They were a little expensive, but you get what you pay. They would probably do a good job, because of how organized they were. They were very professional.

Salesman/Owner came out and gave an estimate. Price was agreed upon and a deposit was made. Company's subcontractor showed up to do the work. The work was done on schedule and completed on time. The primary issue with the work is a bathroom that was painted over wallpaper. They said that the wallpaper was smooth and they would texture over it and paint. The wallpaper was not smooth and it was not originally done by a professional so the corners were not flush and some of the seams were coming up. I'm not sure they applied any texture. If they did, it was very thin. Within a week we could see the seams of the wallpaper. Also paint was on electrical plugs, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, kitchen tile, and the inside of windows. Brushes were cleaned in my yard and paint was dropped on landscape border stones. The salesman/owner was supposed to come out on the day the job was finished and look at the job and have the subcontractor correct any problems. At that time I was going to pay the balance. He called and said he couldn't make it. He called at my office on Monday and asked to pick up the check. I paid him and he never looked at the work. Please note that the salesman/owner did say the work was guaranteed for two years. Our experience was so bad that we decided we didn't want them back in our house. We hired another painter to correct the problems.

We first met with the owner of the company, Blake for an estimate. He was very punctual and well-spoken. In my opinion, his dress was a little casual for a prospective client meeting (T-shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap), but his overall demeanor was very professional. He came well-prepared with a portfolio of houses he's painted in my immediate area. When we went around to look at the houses for an estimate, he was able to spot areas that I missed and asked what we wanted to do with them. At the end of the walkthrough, he explained in detail how much it would cost (the painting as well as the wood rot fixes), what paint he used, why he used that type of paint, and more. He guaranteed that his estimate wouldn't change unless I changed my mind about what services I wanted (and it didn't). He took partial payment up front and only asked for final payment after I was completely satisfied with the job. The only problem I had is that his staff seemed a little lazy. During the initial consultation, he assured me that when they spray washed the house, they would put tarp down to catch the paint chips. They didn't. I complained to Blake, and he was very responsive and told them to clean it up right away. However they only picked up the bigger chips. 4 months later, we are still finding small paint chips on our lawn. I would still recommend this company, but make sure he tells them to put tarp down during the house cleaning/scraping. During painting little paint spots seemed to drop everywhere. Again, I complained to Blake and he had them wipe it up immediately. All in all, every problem we had during the week-long process was handled very promptly by Blake. He never took more than an hour or two to respond to a phone call or email. You can really tell he cares about his customers, and we loved that about him. The end result was excellent quality and our houses look great!

Good bid process and gave estimate on the spot. Came when scheduled and worked even in the cold weather. Finished on time.

Overall, the experience went very well. They did a professional job, and both my wife and I were very happy with the results. Our home looks a lot better!
